Chapter 2052: 598 Matthew’s Brutality

On the pitch-black, profound starry sky.

An unknown light projected from a distant place, but was blocked by Matthew’s massive figure, leaving only shadows capable of enveloping the heavens.

Dania and Pale King Dickens coldly observed the outline of Matthew’s enormous upper half.

Their gaze traveled from bottom to top.

Eventually locking onto those eyes that had suddenly turned cold and rciless.

In their ears was the howling of the Demon Lord Gale.

At the limit of their vision, the horizon stretching to the world’s end suddenly rolled upwards, as if the entire World was being lifted by an unnad force, like rolling a blanket from two ends towards the center.

An overwhelming oppressive force suddenly descended.

But even more terrifying.

They saw the eyes on the celestial curtain gradually turn crimson, and Matthew’s face grew incredibly vicious.

The latter let out a low chuckle.

Then opened his mouth.

Soon.

Matthew’s mouth transford into a blood-red maw, large enough to occupy a quarter of the heavens—

It bit over rcilessly from the other end of the horizon.

As if to devour the two along with the World they were in!

“Woo woo woo…”

From within Calamity Grassman’s body erupted countless monsters’ sobbing sounds.

It seed even the spirit bodies long cursed felt fear.

The edges of the straw man’s body.

With the continuous ergence of red light, a crow quietly appeared.

It silently watched Matthew’s giant maw devouring the horizon, its face showing a human-like expression—

It seed vaguely disdainful.

In the next second.

From beside the straw man, within the Demon Dragon ca Dickens’s muffled voice:

“No way.”

“This is fake.”

“We haven’t been dinsionally shifted, nor entered a painting!”

“This isn’t even an illusion, it’s rely a visual displacent left behind deliberately after that kid used ‘Dinsion Shift’ to escape…”

Dania’s response remained lightly mocking:

“You’re even more sluggish than I imagined, Dickens, I thought you’d have reacted three seconds ago.”

Dickens snorted coldly:

“Quick to react as you are, what did you do with this ti?”

“Such visual displacent itself isn’t a big deal, but during its duration, our spatial perception will be disrupted, if we move recklessly now, we might fall into the enemy’s trap at any mont!”

Dania snorted softly:

“You’re not entirely wrong, but I called you sluggish for a reason.”

“Since we’re not dinsionally shifted, and Dinsion Shift has taken effect, then that kid must have dinsionally shifted himself.”

“Given his bold yet ticulous nature, do you guess he’s escaping now or waiting to strike?”

Dickens’s eyes flickered:

“I understand…”

His words were not finished.

Dania suddenly smiled smugly:

“Found it.”

“That kid’s Dinsion Shift is ultimately a bit immature, left a trace of discordance…”

“If it were Isabelle herself casting, she wouldn’t leave a trace at all!”

In an instant.

Innurable shadows erupted from within Calamity Grassman’s body.

Dragging the straw man’s body, they moved toward the ‘giant maw’ drawing near on the horizon.

The Demon Dragon followed closely behind.

Before long.

The infinite shadows erupting from the straw man’s body encircled a plain, unremarkable boulder in the wilderness.

They ignored the ‘giant maw’ that seed to be approaching.

“Behind the stone is a painting, it has Isabelle’s aura… huh, quite well simulated.”

Dickens impatiently rushed toward the mural on the back of the boulder.

The straw man’s actions were even faster.

As both sides were about to attach to the mural on the boulder.

Suddenly.

The patterns on the mural lit up with crystalline luminance.

The yellow-brown stone surface rippled as if at that mont it transford into a lake surface touched by a gentle breeze.

Next.

Two dried, withered hands suddenly erged from beneath the ‘lake surface’!

Instantaneously.

Calamity Grassman and Demon Dragon’s bodies erupted with cries of terror.

In their instincts, they wanted to flee from the boulder.

Yet it was too late!

The two hands grasped the two necromancers who had turned into demons, and dragged them rcilessly into the ‘lake surface’!

The entire process was exceptionally rapid.

In the blink of an eye, the mural showed two lively outlines—

Clearly, they were the struggling grassman and dragon!

Even through the stone wall.

Observers could sense their fear and despair!

“No…”

“Let us go… Isabelle…”

“I’d rather die than go with you!”

From beneath the lake-like stone wall ca Dania’s breathless pleas.

A few seconds later.

The space surrounding the boulder shattered like glass.

The visual disturbance caused by Dinsion Shift disappeared in that mont.

Matthew’s figure slowly erged.

A hint of surprise appeared on his face as well—

What was before him was evidently unanticipated.

He indeed used Dinsion Shift, to cover his own retreat;

Simultaneously, he also used the visual disturbance effect created by Dinsion Shift, fabricating the illusion of Dania and Dickens falling into a painted world.

He himself dinsionally shifted into a white scroll.

The scroll was ‘affixed’ to a tooth responsible for playing a visual projection.

In this way.

As long as Dania and Dickens concluded that everything before them was the effect of visual disturbance, they would naturally relax their guard against the ‘blood-red maw.’

At that mont, Matthew can jump out of the tooth, delivering a fatal strike to the enemy!

But evidently, so unforeseen events occurred at this mont.
