Chapter 1986: 571 Can I take a bite?_2

“I have already sent a ssage to the shrines, and I believe the great God of Ti and Luck will soon send soone to assist .”

Matthew nodded slightly:

“Then let’s go in first.”

The cricket captain thought for a mont:

“Alright, but be very careful, the situation with the female priest might be a bit strange.”

“If you et her and her mind is sowhat clear, ask her if there’s any clay left in the fortress’s warehouse that the Ice Queen once used to repair the rear garden—”

“The most crucial thing right now is to block that hole below, otherwise everything else will be useless.”

Matthew agreed wholeheartedly.

Imdiately after.

The cricket captain moved aside one wing to make an entrance for them.

Matthew successfully flew in.

Crossing several crumbling barriers, so familiar scenery once again ca into view.

Walking within the fortress.

Matthew could feel the frighteningly high concentration of ether here.

“It seems that this place was also hit by the Chaos Storm, although not as extensively as Order City, the damage caused is still significant.”

Bang bang bang!

Zap zap zap!

While passing through a corridor.

Matthew encountered a fireball matrix followed by a patch of chain lightning.

Fortunately, he quickly opened the domain to barely evade.

Otherwise, with his current little fairy body, even though he wouldn’t die from these spells, lying paralyzed for a few minutes would be unavoidable.

“Luckily, now my domain’s Power is up.”

“It may also be due to the laws of the Fairy’s Garden being disrupted, while I cannot maintain human form or use human spells, the domain and domain-related abilities can still be used.”

Matthew felt relieved secretly.

It’s really hard to imagine relying on little fairy spells for self-preservation.

Soon.

Matthew and Lulu were familiar enough to reach the fortress’s depths.

Still outside the building where the female priest once lived.

A large amount of weeds grew wildly from the second and third floors, so resembling a green waterfall pouring down, giving a peculiar visual impact.

Matthew frowned.

These weeds are generally thick and hard, covered with barbs, resembling so kind of magical plant.

The weeds tightly encircled the female priest’s residence.

He and Lulu circled around but didn’t find any place to squeeze through.

“The female priest is inside, I can sense her presence.”

“Very weak, yet still frightening.”

Lulu whispered into Matthew’s ear.

In the next second.

A sudden violent coughing echoed from inside the house.

Followed by the gentle and pleasant voice of the female priest:

“This morning, I heard the grass spirits calling, and I knew sothing good would happen.”

“My dear, I never thought you would return here so quickly.”

“Your improvent speed is the best among all little fairies, even surpassing the Ice Empress before she advanced to legendary.”

“You are the pride of the Fairy Clan, the youngest Fairy Princess, and will also be the youngest sisters to advance to legendary.”

“Seeing you grow so fast really makes incredibly happy, co in quickly to talk, cough cough cough!”

As her words concluded.

A crack suddenly opened in front of them in the weeds, revealing a dark cave.

Matthew glanced inside—

He could barely see anything.

The room seems to have suffered multiple collapses, with a pile of bricks and furniture stacked together, dust and cobwebs intermingling, faintly showing a dim yellow light from deep within the house.

That seems to be the female priest’s location.

Lulu showed a tense expression.

She reached out her small hand to hold Matthew, then silently shook her head.

“I won’t hurt you, please, co in quickly!”

The voice of the female priest was sowhat distorted.

Lulu looked even more frightened.

Matthew gently patted her shoulder:

“It’s okay, you stay outside, I’ll take a look inside.”

He bravely flew in.

Lulu hesitated outside for two seconds, closed her eyes tightly, and rushed in as well.

Matthew felt amused but also warm seeing her behavior.

However, his attention soon shifted to what was in front of him.

The situation inside the house was much like what he saw from outside, a ss all around.

Rather than a residence.

It resembled more a ruin.

Matthew found the female priestess, whom he had t once before, at the place where the candlelight flickered.

However, her condition was no longer the sa as before.

He saw that the lower half of the priestess had already lted into a pool of sludge, rging with the filthy floor.

Where it hadn’t lted, there were also multiple spots of decay.

Her face still remained as dignified and beautiful as before, but her hair was full of dust, giving a feeling of an impending demise.

“Priestess, what happened to you?”

Lulu exclaid in surprise.

She imdiately flew forward and cast several cleaning spells in succession.

The priestess instantly appeared much cleaner.

A relieved smile appeared on her face:

“Thank you.”

“Thank you for coming to see at this ti, I am really happy, cough cough cough…”

Matthew opened the Nature Domain, trying to use his healing ability on her, but it had little effect.

“We t Captain Cricket outside, he asked to ask you if there was any clay in the warehouse?”

“There’s a big hole under the fortress, it looks really scary…”

Perhaps the priestess’s condition made Lulu let go of a lot of her wariness.

She chattered away and explained the situation.

The priestess listened very patiently.

After listening, she said:

“I have a solution for the hole, I’ll tell you about it later.”

“You all are here seeking the Legendary Advancent of the fairies, right?”

“Can you help up? Carry to the edge of the windowsill on the left, there’s a bookcase there, I need tools from inside…”

Matthew opened the negative energy domain and then used the Pale Hand to lift the priestess’s sticky upper body out of the sludge.

“Hiss——”

It was clear to see.

The whole process caused her imnse pain.

But whenever Matthew wanted to slow down, she would urge him with a determined tone:

“Faster, I’m fine, hurry!”

Matthew could only comply.

A mont later.

The priestess was brought to the front of the bookcase.

She muttered an incantation to open the magical bookcase and took out two glowing pieces of parchnt from inside.

Then she used the magic pen from the bookcase to write two densely packed letters of recomndation on the parchnt.

Matthew glanced at them.

The letters were written in Faerie Language, filled with lavish praises, practically portraying Matthew and Lulu as saints of the Fairy Clan.

Especially Matthew.

The priestess described him as a unique super-genius fairy spellcaster—

“The first Fairy Princess in history to master the domain of necromancy”

Thinking of the sceptre and crown he had previously received from her hands, now seemingly having the semblance of cheating for recomndation letters, Matthew felt a bit embarrassed.

So he softly reminded:

“Priestess, actually I’m not really a fairy…”

The priestess smiled at him:

“How are you not?”

“I know you’re human, but since you can enter the garden and possess the form of a fairy, it proves you’re very fitting as a fairy.”

“We fairies are very inclusive, no matter what race you were before, as long as you’re a fairy now, you’re a fairy for life.”

“Moreover, having two legendary strong individuals erge in the Fairy’s Garden is a trendous blessing for us, I must thank you both!”

As she spoke.

She handed the two letters of recomndation, filled with writing, to the two and patiently instructed:

“Take them and head separately to the Arcane Wilderness.”

“Rember, you two must act separately, not together, or the Legendary Advancent quest will not be completed!”

“Then find a place where no one is around to activate the scroll, where you will receive your own opportunities.”

Matthew and Lulu accepted their respective letters of recomndation.

“Thank you.”

Matthew expressed his gratitude:

“So, is there anything we can do for you?”

The priestess shook her head.

A few seconds later.

She suddenly couldn’t help but lick her lips, then looked at Matthew with an exceedingly hungry gaze:

“Can I have a bite?”

“Just one bite…”

“I beg you…”

In an instant.

Her neck suddenly beca thin and long, and her face turned incredibly monstrous and huge!
