I ran up the stairs, I climbed and I climbed but the end was nowhere in sight. Starting out I ran up the stairs as fast as I could, but eventually it started to wear on . So, I decided to take a breather and pulled out my snake sword.

Actually I think the as of now is probably fine, since for the foreseeable future I will remain as a healer. Fortunately, I didnt just received Shawns snake blade, I also got one creatures and one humans worth of experience.

Next who could forget the [goddesses divine protection], with it I chose the unique skill [God speed]. This seems to be how that guy was so fast.

The other skills available were [heat sensing], [poison], and a summoning magic [Hydra]. It was hard to lose any of them but nothing could replace that kind of speed.

Last item of note, Shawn did not disappear into particles of light but instead left behind a corpse. I intend to find out why he was different once I get out of here.

Thanks to Shawns advice Ive co to understand exactly how strange I am. I dont feel like losing to anyone any longer so, I decided to move forward without showing of my skills. Mostly because I dont like pain. I didnt like when my arm got bit, and I definitely didnt like getting stabbed in the stomach.
