Yes actually, right before i went to the capital he offered to chase out the basilisk. In exchange for doing that it seems he wanted to buy this land, but i refused. This farm has been passed down for generations, its the symbol of Week, I wont just hand it over. However, the guy is a rchant, i doubt hes in league with a basilisk.
