Asher took to where Gabriel was regularly seen. At the waterfall. And there he was, his white hair moving with the wind, his eyes were closed but that didn’t take anything away from his perfect face and figure.
He was ditating and seed like he did not want to be disturbed.
"I think we should go back. He looks like he doesn’t want to be disturbed." I whispered in Asher’s ear.
He shoved backwards and walked silently behind Gabriel. I couldn’t sense his energy, seed like he toned it down.
"What is he hoping to achieve from this?" I thought to myself.
Asher readied himself for a straight jab and attacked Gabriel. There was a gust of wind and when it cleared, Gabriel was no longer seated in ditation.
"Bold of you to assu that my guard was down." Gabriel said standing behind Asher.
He smacked Asher with the back of his hand and then turned to .
"So... you wish to be taught on how to use Essence like him." Gabriel pointed to Asher who still lay on the ground.
"Yes sir." I replied and then he sighed.
"I did not want to be disturbed today but since training you would aid you on the mission Radkiel has for you then I do not see why I should not do it." He stated.
I bowed my head down in respect.
"Rise." He said to and then pointed at the top of a mountain. "et there in 3 minutes."
He disappeared like a ghost. I walked to where Asher laid and then stomped on his stomach.
"Ow!" He exclaid and jumped off the ground imdiately, clutching his belly. "What was that for?"
"Let’s go." I said to him and pointed to the mountain Gabriel had told to go to. "He said I should et him there in 3 minutes."
"How does that have anything to do with ?" Asher asked.
"Let’s just go." I said to him and then strengthened my body with Essence. Then I started running.
I was moving so fast it that with each step I took there was a sonic boom.
I got to the top of the mountain in what seed like 2 minutes but Asher and Gabriel were already there.
"Good, at least you know how to use Essence to increase your speed." Gabriel said to as he walked up to .
I bowed down in the sa way a student bows down to greet his master.
"Have you tried using Essence to create anything?" Gabriel asked.
"No I have not." I replied. Asher lay down on the ground with his arms supporting his head.
"Let us try sothing simple. I shall teach you how to control the elents with Essence." Gabriel said.
"Okay."
"Earth, air, fire and water. These are the four basic elents. Although there are other subclasses but that will be for after you’ve learned how to use the main four." Gabriel started explaining.
I nodded my head in determination and he continued.
"Fire is a source of energy, it is life. People often tend to associate fire with destruction but it was not created to destroy but to give life." Gabriel explained. "Think about giving life to the world and you shall be able to control the flas."
I stood there with my eyes closed, trying to concentrate on life and energy. The energy part I understood but giving life is what I did not understand.
The flas that burned through my ho world, how could I think of them as a source of life.
Rage shot through . I could not concentrate, I did not understand the concept.
I swung my right hand in fury after allowing the essence to flow through it and fire shot out from it.
I opened my eyes and saw so grasses burning on the ground. My eyes were widened in shock. I looked over to Asher and saw that he had the sa expression.
"I, I did it!" I exclaid.
"No you did not." Gabriel said, cutting my celebration short. "Those flas you used were fueled by rage, only ant to destroy and not create."
"Does it matter?" It was Asher who spoke up. "At the end of the day she still got it done."
Gabriel sighed and then continued. "If that is how you want it then so be it. Now, let us move on to earth."
I nodded once more, determined to learn another elent.
"A strong, sturdy and rigid elent. To create it, you need to have a strong and sturdy mind. Like a rock."
I chuckled and then went to work with the explanation he gave .
"A strong and sturdy mind." I muttered as I strengthened my entire body with Essence.
I removed all thoughts from my mind, trying to make it as strong and as sturdy as I could.
I opened my eyes in a rush the mont I felt it and matter started gathering between my palms.
It ford a rock which I threw at Asher. "Ow! What was that for?!" He exclaid.
"Good, you’re a quick learner." Gabriel said to .
I took his complint to heart and bowed my head down once again. "And you’re a good teacher."
Gabriel smiled.
"I’ve never seen him smile, not even when he trained ." Asher said.
"Maybe that’s because you weren’t smart enough to grasp the basics." I replied.
"Hmph." He pouted like a child and laid back down.
I turned back to Gabriel who continued with his teaching.
"Water is an elent that gives life. Unlike fire, water is always associated with life and hope." He stopped.
"Isn’t there anything more for you to tell ?" I asked.
"No, there is not." Gabriel said. "You can try it out with the teachings I’ve given you and also, it is not all the ti you shall be allowed ti to create the elents by your opponents. Learn how to control already existing ones as well."
I tried all I could but could not master the elent of water, even existing ones in the clouds were out of my reach.
"Well that’s a sha." Asher spoke from where he sat down.
I created flas between my two palms and threw it like a rock.
He saw it coming and put it out with his finger. "Don’t do that." He said to .
Gabriel shook his head in what looked like pity. "Well, you have gotten a good grasp on what three of the four elents are but you were able to understand two of them well enough."
I nodded my head.
"But for air, I cannot teach you that as that will co to you as you go on in life."
I bowed my head out of respect for him and made my way down the mountain. I heard footsteps coming hurriedly behind . I turned around and saw Asher standing a few ters away.
"What is it?" I asked him.
"I’m sure you want to test your newfound abilities right?" He replied giving a mischievous smile.
"What do you propose?" I asked him again.
"How about a sparring match? You and one-on-one. I won’t use any of my powerful abilities as well." He said to , still holding the smile.
"Okay. But don’t start screaming when I beat you." I agreed and the both of us leisurely made our way down the mountain.
"He’s trained you well I see." Radkiel said as the both of us approached him.
"Yes he has." I replied.
"And Asher proposed a sparring match between the both of you." He continued. "A match I would very much love to see so..."
With a slight gesture of his hand, Asher, Radkiel and I were thrown into an enclosed space.
"Where is this?" I asked Radkiel.
"My separate space. My own dinsion." Radkiel explained. "Each demigod has their own separate dinsion where the laws, concepts and reality go along with their absolute will."
"That’s interesting." Asher said. I could see him nodding from the corner of my eye.
"Yeah it is. I wonder if we would be able to create sothing like this as well?" I asked rhetorically but Radkiel laughed.
"Only those at the level of a demigod have the authority to create a space such as this." He explained once again.
We looked around and saw things starting to form within the space, ti began to flow as we were thrown into a house with a clock and we saw the clock hands move.
"As you can see," Radkiel started. "I have added the concept of ti in this dinsion. But still let make this interesting."
Asher and I both nodded.
"This is currently a 12 dinsional space with one dinsion of linear ti." Radkiel continued. "I shall be on the highest dinsion and the winning conditions are. One knocking out your opponent or two being able to destroy u
p to ten dinsions within this space."
I was shocked which Asher ended up smiling.
"Oh and before I forget. Asher, don’t use Oblivion or Spectral Void Slash."
