Calista had people help her bring her stuff to the outside kitchen where they were placed into heaps. The other items which Frank brought were also there. The kitchen was kind of full.

Before Susan left, she repeatedly warned Calista to not touch so of the things in the kitchen. She would be coming to her house to help her in the morning.

Knowing that Susan was worried about her, Calista accepted her goodwill. She was also tired from all the sitting and just wanted to take a good rest.

When everyone left, Calista brought all the at to the icehouse while other perishables she couldn’t keep in ice all vanished from the kitchen as if there was so magician performing magic.

After dealing with all the ingredients, Calista left the furniture and other heavy stuff and went to her tree house with a al box she had brought from Silverbroke earlier.

Knowing that it would be late when she returned ho and that the kitchen would be unusable, she had purchased so food in advance. Making her life easier upon return.

After a al, Calista went to take a bath. Although she didn’t light the fire, all it needed was that heating talisman she loves using to warm the water, have a nice bath, and sleep peacefully.

The next day, Calista who had always woken up early found herself sleeping in which was very unusual but at the sa ti, she felt that it made more sense. Why torture herself when she could rest? It wasn’t like she had people she needed to serve in the morning for her to rise so early like that.

Besides, it was so cold and who wakes up in such cold weather without anything to do?

After chasing away all the sleepiness, Calista got off the bed and checked for her daily rewards under the pillow.

Seeing the shining gold coin placed there, a grin broke out on her face.

"Thank you, goddess, for such a hefty reward. I guess this is your way of celebrating the baby with !" she earnestly praised, as she held the coin in her hand fondly.

So far, this was the greatest and highest monetary reward she received in the past decade. Even at her second wedding, she didn’t receive much and after confirming that she was pregnant; she got a gold coin.

That money was enough for her to buy a small village and beco a chief herself. Getting more money made her feel at peace. With money, the wheels of life would never turn in the wrong direction.

Calista sorted the money in the usual drawer and started her morning chores.

She cleaned the bedroom, took a bath, and changed into a casual dress and sothing warm. Done with that, she picked a bottle of dicine in the drawer and took a small dose before leaving the bedroom.

She didn’t know what ti Susan would co, but she had other things to take care of, and waiting was never her virtue.

As she waited for Susan to arrive, since she was nowhere to be seen, Calista cleaned the other rooms in the tree house without any pressure before going to the outside kitchen.

"ow!"

"Hiss!"

As soon as she went outside, she was greeted by two familiar sounds, which made her smile as she turned in the direction where the owing and hissing were coming from.

Looking in that direction, she saw Whitey cat walking slowly, keeping his pace with the small snake slithering on the ground. The movents of the two made her heart lt. She couldn’t help but place her hand on her stomach.

’I am having another child!’ that realization once again dawned on her, making her maternal love overflow to the two small beasts approaching her slowly.

"Good morning, kids!"

"ow."

"Hiss."

"Hehe, I didn’t see you when I returned but it’s okay, now we can see each other. Co to Mama, I have good news for you!" she said smiling as she crouched to the ground so that she would be able to scoop the two guys into her embrace.

It didn’t take long before the two arrived. Stretching her hand on the ground, the small back snake, Blackey, slithered on her hand before wrapping itself like a bracelet around her wrist. Seeing Blackey settled, Calista picked Whitey and began to caress the small head fondly.

"I don’t know if the father I found for you will return to this place, but it doesn’t matter. The three of us, no, the four of us will be fine!" Calista dejectedly said before her tone changed, filled with imnse hope and determination, saying the last part.

The two kids, hearing that, suddenly reacted. Blackey who was playing dead on her wrist, suddenly raised his head, hissed and flickered his tongue as he looked at Calista, waiting for an explanation.

Whitey owed continuously as he licked his nose with his little tongue, his gaze very piercing, and she knew what those two wanted. She chuckled helplessly before explaining.

"I just found out that I am pregnant. So, from now on, you will have to protect , your mother, and make sure that no harm befalls or your baby sibling. Can you do that for ?" her eyes oozing with affection as she talked to the kids, she said.

Blackey’s flickering suddenly stopped as he looked at her stomach and Whitey’s reaction was the sa. After a while, Calista burst into laughter as she was attacked by the two, licking her fingers and palms with assurance.

"This mother didn’t dote on you in vain!" she happily said, as she enjoyed the pampering from the two.

Amidst the laughter, familiar female voices sounded as she heard her na being called.

Hearing those voices, a smile broke on her face before calling back.

"You can co up!" though it was unnecessary, considering how these ladies had already climbed all the way and would be reaching her yard in a matter of ti.

Surely, it didn’t take long before the familiar people appeared. Calista hides her wrist in the sleeves, hiding Blackey from anyone’s sight.
