Afraid of what more shocking words Calista would utter next, Faith dragged Calista to her office under the temptation of giving her sothing nice. It was only then that Calista stopped tornting the conservative won and followed Faith.

As for Orson, he followed, since remaining behind with a group of won wasn’t sothing that a jug of vinegar like Calista would want to see.

Inside the office, Faith didn’t disappoint Calista and gave her so gifts. Which were basically stylish winter clothes which were very warm and very much to her taste. She even has sothing for Orson.

’How did you know my husband’s size?" Calista asked as she narrowed her eyes at her friend, making Orson stifle his laughter, finding Calista’s sudden bursts of jealousy to be unreasonable and yet at the sa ti made her look very cute.

"You ....." even Faith was startled, she beca tongue-tied for a mont, "you, didn’t you brag about him the day you ca for the wedding clothes? I am not an idiot, you know!"

Calista harrumphed at her friend before shifting her focus to the clothes.

It was quite a funny scene. Fortunately, Faith didn’t get offended as she knew what her friend was like.

After eting Faith and spending quality ti with her for an hour or so, Calista took her husband away as they headed for the next place.

Calista didn’t co to Silverbroke town to play. She was there for a reason and it was to do so shopping. She had dealt with the bricks issue, so what remained was the other thing, which was personal.

Winter approaching, she wanted to prepare a lot of things. And it was more so with people who would be working for her. Food would be consud pretty quickly, so she needed to restock.

So, on this day, Orson finally witnessed with his eyes how extravagant his wife was. She didn’t blink when buying anything and, above all, she didn’t negotiate. When he asked her why didn’t do so when buying a lot, she responded like this, "We are all trying to make a living. So why take advantage of other people’s blood and sweat?"

However, as she continued her crazy shopping, he found out that wherever she purchased anything, these sellers would always give her sothing extra all the ti.

Maybe that was the reason why it didn’t bother her that much. That was what he insinuated. The truth was still not known, but did it matter? As long as all parties were happy.

With all the purchases made, everything was carried to Faith’s shop since Calista didn’t trust the inn a lot.

Later that day, they t with the people sending bricks over to her place and had them send a ssage to Frank. She wanted him to co and pick them up the next day since they had purchased everything they wanted.

It was ti to go ho and see what changes had happened when they weren’t there.

The next day, Calista took Orson to the last round of shopping as they waited for Frank to co and pick them up.

As they walked around, Orson suddenly said in suggestion, "What do you think about buying our own carriage?"

"That ... who would drive it?" Calista frowned as she asked about that.

"This, I can do it!" Orson suggested. however, he didn’t expect her reaction to be that serious.

"Hell no! What if sothing happens to you? If I buy it, I would rather hire soone to drive it for us. Why should I let you drive the carriage when you could be spending that ti with ?" the thought of her man being burnt by the sun, getting frozen by the wind or cold just to drive a carriage, didn’t sit well with her at all.

She would rather sit with him inside and act all lovey-dovey than risk his life like that.

Upon hearing the reason, Orson found himself smiling. When had he been pampered like that?

He couldn’t rember the last ti it was like that. Every ti people wanted sothing from him, they forgot that he also needed so attention.

Was this probably the other reason why he couldn’t leave her or rather didn’t want to leave despite getting what he wanted?

"I don’t know what I did to find a woman like you!" he found himself blurting that out loud, making Calista flush as she looked away shyly.

Seeing her shy like that, completely the opposite of what she was like most of the ti, Orson had the urge to pull her into his embrace and share so warmth with her. He wanted to show her in ways he could how much she ant to him, but he knew that it might not work that much.

They t unexpectedly and until now; she didn’t know much about him. So how could she trust his words certainly when it wasn’t certain what would happen if he ever got his mories back?

"You must have saved an immortal!" then ca the response unexpectedly, making him burst into hearty laughter.

"I might have indeed saved an immortal. So, what should I do to thank this wonderful wife of mine?" he asked playfully as he tugged the hem of her jacket.

Calista looked at her husband, who was being too wordy and flirty suddenly. She didn’t know why he was doing that and what he was trying to achieve and get from her by making her flustered. However, whatever reason he was doing that, it seed to be working.

She loved hearing it so much, and since he had asked, she wanted to test him a bit and see what more he was hiding from her.

"Um, if you want to thank . How about you find what you can help with? I don’t trust anyone but you. Which is why I chose you as my husband. And hubby if you rember sothing, don’t forget to tell . As much as I don’t want you to regain your mories, I also look forward to it. Who knows what good things you are capable of that can help now?"
