Calista shortly threw the matter of familiarity out of her head, as she was attracted to the several carriages with her goods. She didn’t know how much money Orson spent this ti, but she was happy.

She had never spent a single cent of this man and she even bore him twins and a son. On top of that, she used her dicine, the kind she would never be able to get in any lifeti for him. Didn’t she deserve this at most?

Orson shook his head helplessly as he held the plate of food, which remained unfinished as Calista was surveying the carriages.

If riches and treasures could make her happy like this, he would do his best to scour all over to give them to her. That way, she can smile at him and forgive him.

Calista, unaware of what he was thinking, busied herself with checking everything without being tired. How could she be tired when she was seeing so many goodies?

It took her an hour before she was satisfied and discovered that everything she demanded was there.

"Get the carriages inside the manor and let the servants take care of it," she instructed the butler, who had co out at so point.

"Yes, my lady!"

With that order given, the carriages started entering the manor, and Calista brought Orson and his man inside.

Monts later, inside the living room, the man in black took out a black pouch and put it on the table while saying, "My lady, this is sothing that was given to by the sorceress. She said that you will need it!" his tone was devoid of any emotions and getting straight to the point.

Bam!

"That b ****!" Calista slamd the table angrily as she cursed that sorceress who never ceases to cause trouble for her, her violent reaction startling the two n.

When the man in black saw that, he was now certain that those two had issues with each other. Orson, on the other hand, couldn’t help but wonder what reason Calista would need to use anything from the sorceress.

Nothing good without any suffering cos from that cloaked sorceress.

"Cali, calm down! Check first what she gave you. Maybe it isn’t bad!" seeing her so angry, Orson said coaxingly, hoping to see her calm down.

Calista snorted as she looked at the pouch and angrily retorted, "I have never seen anything good happening whenever that vixen is involved!"

It was trouble after trouble. etings and partings were associated with that sorceress.

If she has gits, why not appear in front of her and let them settle any grievances they have between them?

Was she perhaps soone she offended during her transmigration missions?

Otherwise, why was she being targeted repeatedly like this without an end?

Nevertheless, she still reached out for the pouch while glaring at the ssenger, sending shivers down his spine.

Calista didn’t have any qualms about revealing what she had been given. She was curious and eager to know what this damned sorceress had given her.

And when she saw what was in the pouch, she hurled curses at the sorceress that left the n and the servants close by, speechless.

"How dare she give a freaking stone? Does she want to kill now that she has sent people to exhaust all the resources that I have? Damn that b****! If I ever see her, I am going to *********"

Orson, hearing Calista angrily cursing without stopping, felt his body heating up. He knew that Calista had a temper. He had experienced it so many tis, but this was the first ti he was hearing her cursing.

Hearing such words coming out of her mouth without any issues, she suddenly felt that she showed him rcy when she confronted him. At least her words just sting and were quite straight at the point. But these words, these curses, that would be too humiliating if they were ever said in public.

He wouldn’t be able to raise his head at all.

He suddenly felt sorry for the sorceress. If they ever et, who knows what kind of battle would ensue that day?

After cursing her lungs out, she felt better. However, her anger hadn’t dissipated yet. She looked at the ssenger who dared bring such a stone to her with a deadly gaze, still finding him familiar.

She gazed at him in the eyes, and the man didn’t evade but looked directly at her. It was as if he was declaring war on her and she didn’t like it a bit.

Not finding anything through those eyes, she decided to look away and it just so happened that in the process of doing so, she spotted sothing that made her eyes flicker for a second and made her blood turn cold as if she had been sent into a freezer.

’I know that ring! I have seen that godman ring. Even if I am turned into ashes, I freaking know and rember that damn ring!’ that was what was running through her thoughts as she looked at that signet ring with a three-clover design on it.

Though her mind was in turmoil, her gaze was clear and it simply looked like she was interested in the ring and didn’t have any other intentions.

She raised her head with a smile to look at the man in black and said, "Your ring looks nice. Where did you buy it?" pure curiosity written all over her face.

The man’s gaze darkened for a mont. He didn’t want to answer, but since the question had been thrown at him, he couldn’t be rude.

Orson, on the other hand, knowing his man and his dislike for talking, didn’t mind helping him a bit. Besides, he didn’t want to let Calista be accustod to his man. What if she develops feelings for him?

What position would that put him in?

So, before the man could respond, Orson was one step ahead. "That’s a ring I personally give him. It’s one of its kind and can’t be bought!"

’This is bad!’ that’s what the man thought as he listened to his master’s answer.

While his master couldn’t see through that harmless smile, he could feel a deadly pressure suffocating him, and the pressure increased the mont the answer was given.

It was just his guess, but he had an odd feeling that things weren’t that optimistic. If this woman was who he thinks was or perhaps associated with, she needed to be dealt with quickly even if it ant to offend his master.

Since he had aroused the other’s suspicion, he might as well face it head-on. He didn’t believe that he could be defeated by a woman who was in confinent, no matter who was protecting her.

He had eaten too much salt more than her.

There was a reason why he was picked by his master in the first place, after all.
