If there was one thing that the villagers from Cropville Village now knew, it was the fact that Calista, as long as she likes her guests a lot, would host a banquet.

They recently held a farewell banquet for Diana weeks ago and now another banquet was being held.

This ti, it wasn’t a private one, but all the villagers were invited. They could all tell how much Calista really liked the guests this ti.

Calista wanted to welco her god-brother to her ho in a grand fashion. He wanted him to feel at ho, feel welcod and engrave this mont in his mind forever.

Spending money on a banquet wasn’t that costly when she compared it to how much Hayes had done for her from the mont that they t.

What was wrong with spoiling a brother?

So, for this banquet, she even invited the councilor, whom she hadn’t seen in a long ti. As for whether he would show up or not, that was another matter.

On the day of the banquet, the village was all busy. There were won busy cooking, talking and laughing as they enjoyed what they were doing.

Calista’s figure could be seen walking up and down, monitoring the progress of the cooking. She didn’t like it when people ss with her food.

Her belly had grown bigger. She was in her thirty-first week now, and her shadow or tail, Hayes never left her side.

His focus was mostly on her.

Hayes had children, and he understood the struggle won go through to give birth. And yet it was the first ti that he had ever gotten so concerned about a pregnant woman. The feeling was quite new and made him appreciate won more.

The banquet was held at night, and there was food to spare.

Sitting in her comfortable chair, Calista didn’t need to stand up like before but could just talk while seated. It was a hassle for her to stand and sit again just to talk to her fellow villagers.

"Thank you, everyone, for coming to this banquet. It’s a great honor for all of you to be here. Tonight, we celebrate the arrival of my dear brother, Hayes. And I hope that when he is here, you will treat him with kindness and the sa way that you have treated !"

Calista had one purpose when she hosted the banquet. It was to introduce Hayes to everyone, and at the sa ti, cut off any rumors which might spread in the future.

She didn’t want these people to think that she was on the market and Hayes was her lover or husband candidate.

Honestly, after Orson, she didn’t think that in this lifeti at least, she would manage to be with soone again.

The struggle was real, and she didn’t think that she would manage to give her heart for a third ti again.

She didn’t an to fall for Orson when she saw him. She lusted after him and since he claid he had amnesia, making him her husband wasn’t a bad idea. At least she won’t be alone anymore.

And most importantly, she wanted a legitimate reason to find a child. Her great desire for children and shutting the villagers kept on ntioning how she was a hen who couldn’t lay eggs. And a sperm donor just happened to fall from the sky for her. How could she let him go?

Unfortunately, maybe she was too lonely for so many years that she forgot the cruelty of the world. She unknowingly fell for the man and gave him a chance to co clean, but he simply packed and left.

She didn’t want to be involved with soone again. He had enough in this lifeti. She was just going to raise her child and watch her grow up. When it’s ti to die, then die peacefully and see what the new life will bring her.

She just prayed that in this life, she wouldn’t et Orson again, otherwise ....

Everyone had fun at the banquet. People ate until their bellies were full and round.

They sang, danced and had a lot of fun. It was just beautiful.

Calista didn’t stay long at the banquet, as she was feeling drowsy. She had played for a long ti.

With her gone, the villagers went wild until the wee hours of the next day.

With such a huge celebration, Hayes’s identity was now known to everyone in the village.

In the days which followed, Calista once again found herself busy but thankfully there was Hayes by her side who was really knowledgeable about all these things. It was quite fortunate.

Calista needed to check how the factory was faring when she wasn’t present, and honestly, she was quite amazed by the hard work that everyone put into the factory; especially Ba Susan, who has been working hard as the overall overseer of the whole place.

The leather-making workshop staff were starting to make real products. They were past the learning stage and the managers provided her with the final products they made during the tutorials, and she loved them.

They made female shoes and bags, so now she added new shoes and bags to her closet. How could she not be happy?

the factory was faring well, and as long as they continued with the pace that they were going with, she believed that pretty soon she would have enough goods to sell, especially in the sugar-making workshop.

seeing the brown rock sugar piled in that corner, the smile on her face never left her side.

She didn’t even need to wait for long, when it cos to sugar, there will be more people clamoring for it without her doing much.

That thought was even more cented when she tasted the sugar made in her factory. It tasted just right.

And lastly, before she left, she gave the food workshop and assignnt to make snacks.

Snacks had been on her mind for a long ti and she wanted to sell them alongside the wine.

When she returned, she was overjoyed when she saw the number of snacks made during her absence.

Seeing so many snacks, Calista was confident that her new project would soon be comncing.

Without much for her to do at ho or the factory, since she didn’t like the noises there, playing at the new shops, didn’t seem to be a bad idea.

Besides, there was so much to decorate at the new shops.

She was looking forward to opening her new shops.
