After leaving the hill, it took him several hours before he managed to catch two rabbits. It was as if the nearby mountains didn't have a single animal at all, seeing how hard it was to catch sight of anything.
Seeing how empty the mountains were, he couldn't help but wonder what everyone ate. And thinking of Calista who loved living luxuriously, his heart couldn't help but ache for her.
That was why he tried his best to scour for any kind of animal to bring ho. As long as she sees it, she will be happy and even forget that he wasn't there when she returned.
And honestly, that trick proved to be quite helpful as when he returned to the hill, he found her sitting in the gazebo sipping tea and her eyes were narrowed dangerously, that he could tell that she was indeed not very happy with his actions.

So, when she saw him erging from the other side holding two fat rabbits, her worries all disappeared while a smile blossod.
He was back, and he brought at. How could she not be happy?
