"Sigh!" Calista sighed heavily as she watched as Tim and Frank carried the mysterious wounded lady back to the manor.
After the lady appeared, Calista knew that with so many people around, she wouldn’t dare carry her to the manor and remain unnoticed.
And since she couldn’t conjure another fake relative like last ti, she might as well let the village chief help her this ti.
So, she had one maid run to the village chief and seek help.
At least with so many witnesses, she doesn’t have to explain herself in the future.
Mammy Lena was still in a state of shock at what she had witnessed.
She never thought that traveling through the wormhole was this dangerous.
When she ca to Cropville Village, she didn’t know her state since, by the ti she woke up; she was already healed.
So apart from recalling the pain of walking through the wormhole, she never saw the consequences of doing so.
And to think that her lady had witnessed this for the second ti, no wonder why she was so pissed off.
"My lady, what are you going to do with her?" Mammy Lena, after sorting out her thoughts, asked curiously.
She managed to stay with Calista because she was capable, and her ho was far away.
Even until now, there hasn’t been a response to the letter she sent. She didn’t even know when the letter would reach the family and when a response would co.
Calista sighed once again as she glanced briefly at Mammy Lena before responding, "Heal her, of course. And when she is better, ask her where she ca from. I don’t doubt that this is the work of that damn sorceress!"
Talking about the sorceress, Calista felt angry towards this person.
Why was she so against her that every few months she would send soone to her?
Just how many people did this sorceress want to send to her until she was satisfied?
Did she perhaps have any knowledge of the dicine that she possessed?
Was she trying to empty her reserves just so that she could save them?
These people not only co with external injuries but with internal ones as well.
Just what kind of wishes did these people all have to sacrifice their lives like that?
And if that ridiculous remark of finding whatever she wanted desperately tempted this lady and ended up by her side, just what exactly did she have for these people to co only to her?
She was just a slave’s daughter if she was to talk about her background.
Born to a residential slave and grew up in that family until her death. She didn’t even have any wonderful secrets that she could share. The kind that people would be interested in. At least the normal kind that people might think of.
So why was everyone coming to her?
With the n carrying the lady on a stretcher, they shortly arrived at the manor. There was no need to go to the clinic. Lisa wasn’t there. So, she was left to deal with the situation.
Since the guest houses weren’t done yet, Calista put the wounded lady in one of the rooms.
"Wait outside. I will clean her up and administer so dicine!" Calista inford Mammy Lena and the others who were concerned about the lady’s health.
After saying so, Calista entered the room and locked the door.
Since she was going to administer a special dicine; she didn’t want anyone watching the process.
Inside the room, Calista opened the basket she brought from her bedroom. In the basket, there were bandages, dicinal paste for wounds and the special dicine, which had reduced to a quarter.
Looking at the bottle, Calista massaged her throbbing temples as she recalled how her dicine this year was being used a bit too much.
When she finished her transmigration tasks, among the several rewards she got from the system, she received three bottles of dicine. And this dicine, when consud directly, is a miracle that would make other people hack you to death.
It healed all wounds instantly and even scars won’t remain. It could heal both inside and outside at that mont. That’s how special this dicine was.
She didn’t dare use it recklessly. So, she diluted one bottle at first and made several bottles which differed with the dilution.
And this bottle was quickly consud during the five years she was married to her deceased husband. In fact, during that period, she was forced to dilute the second bottle.
The one that she was now using.
One bottle still remained untouched and unless necessary, she wasn’t going to touch it.
With the second bottle, there were three bottles with high concentration left. which was the kind she used on Orson and Mammy Lena when they first arrived.
The one which she gave Orson to heal the scar on his face was another dilution which followed the high-concentration one and the one she gave him before he vanished was the other half. On Orson alone, she wasted nearly two bottles and, thinking about her precious dicine; she wished she could dig him wherever he was and make him spit out her dicine.
However, when she thought of the child in her belly, she could only swallow her grievance.
Just consider it as using the dicine in exchange for a child she wanted desperately.
The dicine she had in had now been the lowest dilution. If a person takes this dicine, it will take a while for the other to be healed. And in this kind of situation, Calista found it very perfect to use.
If this lady who was wounded pretty badly wakes up tomorrow fully healed, how could she explain herself?
So, this ti, she was going to do it slowly and let this lady when she wakes up repay for all the costs. She can’t just suffer a loss just because of a damn bored sorceress.
With so much indignation and fury in her, Calista fed the lady a few drops of the dicine, just enough to protect her system and make her recover normally, before adding a few drops of the dicinal paste which she then applied on the external wounds.
The process took a while. After all, the other was battered badly. At least her face was spared, otherwise, the other would be forced to wear a veil for the rest of her life.
With how pretty she seed, Calista didn’t think that the other ca from an ordinary family at all.
Anyway, she would know the truth when the other wakes up.
After applying the dicine, Calista packed her dicine in the basket and stored the special dicine in her storage ring.
As for the basket, she left it by the bedside. Whoever would nurse the wounded lady would need the dicine.
After all, the important stage had been done already.
