With so much happening, Calista didn’t have much to do.

After so thought, she decided to do an activity she hadn’t done in a very long ti.

So, on a special morning, after having breakfast, she and her entourage left the manor and headed towards the river.

Ever since she got pregnant; Calista never stepped foot there.

Soone else did all her laundry, so there was no need to check the river at all.

However, now, she was craving so fish, and at the sa ti wanted to take a breather.

At first, she even thought of taking a walk in the forest and admiring the trees, but after thinking about how her last adventure ended, she voted against it.

What if another person gets sent to her again?

Would she be able to take it?

So, the river was the best. She didn’t think that the sorcerer would dare send anyone to such a place where many eyes would see.

However, her decision didn’t sit well with Mammy Lena when she gave the sudden announcent after breakfast.

"Lady, the river is dangerous. What if sothing happens?" Mammy Lena was worried sick.

This was the first ti she was serving soone so stubborn like this, especially when pregnant.

Her Madam, the one she grew up serving, wasn’t like this at all. She might be stubborn at tis, but when it cos to matters that really matter, she always listens.

First, Lady Calista since she decided to call her that instead of Miss since she used to be married and even carrying a child. How could she continue calling her Miss?

She was too old for that.

At the sa ti, calling her Madam made it seem as if she was older, which was true and yet untrue at the sa ti.

Calista looked younger than her age mates. And the noble title of lady suited her the most. In the end, she started calling her like that.

Calista chuckled as she continued to walk ahead at a steady pace, used to Mammy Lena’s complaints.

"Mammy, anything can happen but nothing can harm !" she boasted. "I am a child favored by the deities!"

Mammy Lena heard that facepalm as her temples started throbbing from all the nonsense.

How can a pregnant person take life easily like that?

"You ..."

"Don’t stress, Mammy. We are just going to fish. I don’t even need to enter the water. I will let other people enter. How about it?" Calista assured as she looked at the other.

Mammy Lena went quiet for a while before she nodded. This suggestion was much better than allowing the lady to enter the water for so fish.

"Okay. I will keep an eye on you!"

"Hehe, you do what suits you!"

The two of them agreed with that.

On the way to the river, several won and kids could be seen going towards it or from it.

Calista, being a celebrity in the village, stopped once in a while as she chatted with the villagers.

"How are you feeling?"

"Is the child obedient?"

"Rember to eat nutritiously. Later, I will send the child with so eggs. They have laid quite a lot recently."

"I have a black chicken. Do you want it?"

Facing the enthusiastic villagers who no longer talked badly about at least behind her back, Calista was jovial.

"I am well. Thank you for asking."

"Haha, the baby isn’t naughty. So, everything is well."

’Morning sickness? That .... I haven’t experienced it yet. I guess I am being saved from that."

"Hahaha, thank you very much. My eggs were almost finished. I will pay you handsoly. If there are more, why don’t you bring them? I need them."

"You have black chickens? That’s great. Bring three. No, just bring one every week. If you have them, just co to the manor. I will buy all of them from you."

When hearing that she was willing to pay instead of just receiving, how could these villagers not be happy?

They beca even more enthusiastic, and Calista was happy as well.

She didn’t want to look like soone taking advantage of the villagers simply because she was helping them.

As much as she was helping them, she was helping herself as well.

Besides, she hasn’t reached the state of receiving free alms like that.

"This, are you going to fish?"

"Will it be, okay?"

"I just want to know if I can buy a few?"

"Yes. It’s been a while since I have eaten fish."

"Can we?"

Hearing the villagers’ questions, Calista realized that it might have been too long for everyone.

Her koi physique made it possible for her to fish at any ti and get a great harvest. However, for her fellow villagers, that was another case.

Finding a kapenta was even harder than finding a rabbit in a forest.

These people usually eat fish when she goes fishing. But after not going fishing for months, she could imagine.

And since she was in a good mood today and even planned to prepare a fish feast later and add the fish dishes to the restaurant tomorrow, she didn’t mind fishing for a few days.

"This, today I won’t manage to get extra for you. How about tomorrow?" after so thought, she asked the won.

Upon hearing that, they didn’t have any qualms at all and agreed happily. Who cares when they would get the fish as long as they get it?

"We are fine with it."

"That’s good then. If you don’t have money, we can exchange!" Calista excitedly announced, "Bring so eggs, any type you have, tomatoes and other things."

She didn’t mind getting a few free ingredients from these villagers. They have in abundance, anyway.

When they heard that, they were even happier than her. After all, using money to pay for fish was a bit too much, though they wanted it badly. There were a lot of things that they could use that money for.

In the end, a wonderful bargain was made.

Calista and her servants resud their trip to the river, while the won spread the news throughout the village.

It beca a sensation in a short while.

Ma Susan was even tempted.

After all, the fish was delicious.

Who wouldn’t want to eat it?
