Calista was taken by surprise when she heard this. Honestly, her mind never thought of doing this at all. In her head, all she thought was to help her villages, which ant that if she needed help, she secures it from them.
For other things that they couldn’t do, buy in town or the city. Never for a second did it cross her mind that the other seven surrounding villages had experts.
It seed that her brains, in so ways, were fried. Thank goodness, there were wise n like Ba Susan around.
What a thoughtful and generous man he is.
Calista didn’t find anything bad or unsettling with his suggestion, so she opened her mouth and responded, "Um. That works as well. As long as they can do their job properly, deliver what I want in ti without qualms, then I can work with other villages as well," a smile on her face.
Who made her fellow villagers to be lacking?
Ba Susan, getting that confirmation, smiled brightly and hurriedly promised, "Don’t worry. I will send a ssenger to all the villages with a notice!"
Calista bead. "That would be appreciated. Also, just send a ssage that as long as there are artisans, it doesn’t matter what they do, let them co. I might need their services!" she didn’t forget to add that.
Ba Susan nodded, accepting everything that Calista kept on adding, making the list long at the end of the day.
Before Calista left, Ba Susan gave her so good news, "regarding what you asked to do. The councilor told to co again in two days. I will have a definite answer when that ti cos!" leaving the part where the councilor added so conditions if he wanted so speedy assistance.
Fortunately, everything seed to be working well, and he didn’t have to tell Calista what was happening behind the scenes. He didn’t want to see her causing a fuss, or that group of crazy kids fanning the flas for that matter.
With this cooperation on the way, he can finally be at ease and no more insomnia at night.
After leaving Ba Susan’s place, Calista went to the workshop where the third lesson of the day was underway and dragged Diana, who was a spectator, enjoying watching the villagers’ agony.
It wasn’t easy to learn and be studious after all.
Diana complained all the way to the manor, but Calista ignored the other’s rambling before closing the study’s door, giving them so privacy in the end.
Diana glanced around the study she only entered once while touring the house and suddenly turned solemn.
Seeing how Calista had brought her to the study, a place where the owner didn’t causally bring guests, knew that the other had serious business to talk to her about.
"Sis, give it to . What do you want this little sister to do for you?" Diana asked firmly, as she placed her hands on top of the desk, her tone businesslike and very firm to the ear.
Calista’s eyes squinted upon seeing how fast Diana changed. Was this what she was like when she was the famous Red Spider?
Whatever she was like, right now, Calista just wanted soone who could help her get what she wanted and Diana, here, happened to be soone who could give her what she wanted, with the right amount of money.
So, without beating around the bush, Calista responded, "Um. I need your help in acquiring several machines and tools. Can you do that for ?" her brows rising as if provoking Diana to the quest.
Diana’s lips rose as soon as she heard that. She couldn’t help but stretch her muscles as her hands left the desk, her eyes sparkling with imnse interest.
"Hehe, you have co to the right person. Tell what you need, and I will scour everywhere to get it for you!" Diana enthusiastically responded.
This was Calista wanting sothing from her for the first ti. How can she reject such an opportunity?
Even when she returns ho this ti, if her parents try to flare at her, she would just use the Calista’s card and they would both go wild.
Knowing how much her parents, just like her, wanted to repay Calista, this procurent business wouldn’t be any troubleso.
Calista, seeing the confidence oozing from Diana, knew that she had picked the right person.
Without further ado, she started listing what she wanted.
It was when she saw the dorms had been completed that she recalled a very important matter. The factory was completed a long ti ago and now lacks the appropriate machines for business to start in the future.
She didn’t buy such things on her trip this ti. So, letting soone with the knowledge and connections help her acquire what she wanted would save her the trouble here.
With Diana and her family desperate to repay her, then the job would be even smoother and completed quickly.
When Calista had the factory building built, she planned to have four different factories or workshops there.
She didn’t want to waste land or resources, so she separated the building into four. Of course, now that the building was completed, the purpose it was built for might even change as well.
Nevertheless, the initial projects thought of back then were clothing, leatherwork, sugar and food.
Now that she thinks about it, these four can be combined and made into two. This way, she can have more space to accommodate other projects.
However, that still didn’t reduce the number of machines that she needed. The figure would remain the sa. She just needed to add new machines to the mix.
But for the mont, she was going to purchase for those four and think hard about what to do with the other two factories or workshops in the future.
For leatherwork, the technology hasn’t been made yet, so Calista didn’t have much required except for tanning agents which can be found by scouring the mountains and forests. However, she still preferred to have the majority of these components purchased.
