Surely upon hearing that, Calista burst into a peal of laughter.

"Your intuition is still very sharp I see!" Calista praised her friend with sparkling eyes, making Leeshay pump her chest which was apparently bigger than Calista, making her pout for a second sulkily.

Leeshay didn’t see Calista sulking, so she eagerly asked, "So, are you going to spill the beans or what?"

What else can she do with her being enthusiastic like that?

So, Calista who didn’t believe much in witchcraft or was chard by others, since on her own she could be labeled a great witch with everything she has on hand, shared the good news with Leeshay.

Her eyes narrowed into slits and her hand carefully caressed her belly, which was still flat without too many changes showing.

Leeshay’s eyes popped wide open like a bigeye fish. Her actions were so dramatic that it made Calista want to laugh out loud. However, she understood her friend’s feelings at this mont.

Leeshay’s hands trembled as she stretched them towards Calista stuttering, "Cali .... You .... you are really ....." words unable to co out, as tears started pooling in her eyes.

Calista, seeing her friend like that, couldn’t help but feel emotional as well.

She burst into a hearty chuckle. "Um, it’s true. This friend is indeed pregnant. It’s ten weeks now!" Calista ended up finishing what Leeshay couldn’t finish with a smile, grabbing the trembling hand and placing it over her belly. "Feel it!"

Leeshay felt her eyes stinging as she looked at her friend. They have known each other for nine years and she understood how Calista badly wanted a child, but due to her status, she couldn’t achieve her dream.

Not only did she get married to an older man who barely could function in the bedroom, but she had to fend against his first wife and kids at the sa ti.

Until now, she still doesn’t understand why Calista married that old geezer. It wasn’t like he was rich. If he was, she would have thought that maybe it was because of that that Calista ended up with him.

If she wasn’t mistaken, Calista literally took care of the whole family without asking for a single thing. She lost too much in that marriage, didn’t get a child and on top of that beca a widow who was ostracized by everyone.

It wasn’t like she was the one who killed that old geezer.

So, hearing the double good news that Calista not only got remarried but was expecting as well. She was thrilled for her.

She t Calista when she was fifteen years old. At that ti, Calista was already married and nineteen years old, if not mistaken.

At that ti, she was struggling a lot. Her aunt gave her the restaurant before she left for another city to settle. She took over and everything was going perfectly before more restaurants started erging, posing competition for hers.

No matter what she tried to do, it didn’t seem to work and Calista saw her struggling like that. Her family wanted her to return ho and get married to the person that they had chosen for her.

Recalling how butter her older sister’s marriage was just because of getting her marriage arranged, she didn’t want to follow in her steps. She needed to prove to herself that she could do it if she wanted to change her fate.

Unfortunately, at that ti, things didn’t seem to work out for her. One day, crying by herself and thinking the worst, she t Calista, who ca into her life like a prince in shining armor.

With a short talk, Calista not only provided her with enough money to last her several months, but she gave her several recipes as well.

Thanks to that, she was able to rise to her feet, prove to her family that she could manage herself and, most importantly, she picked her own husband who she was still married to right now.

Her husband was a rchant and, at tis, he traveled to and from other neighboring kingdoms. He was rich, and a good person. Although the man was married and had another wife, it didn’t matter to her. He was a few years older than her and rich, so she won a bargain.

With her husband, she has three beautiful kids she loves so much. Bringing her to her current thoughts. She was younger than Calista and yet she already had three kids, while Calista didn’t have any.

So, knowing that Calista’s belly was showing sothing, how could she not be happy?

Calista didn’t know what Leeshay was thinking about. She was just happy to see soone crying with joy because of her situation.

"Cali .... Congratulations. I am very happy for you. Sincerely happy!" after a very long ti, Leeshay finally managed to say this.

Calista bead at her friend as she nodded emotionally. "Thank you, dear. I will take your best wishes!"

’Haha, that’s good. It better be a girl. This way, I can let one of my boys marry her and our families unite in marriage!" suddenly the tearful Leeshay started daydreaming out loudly, making Calista break into another burst of laughter.

All the way to the inn, Calista felt her cheeks aching with all the continuous laughter. Did Leeshay’s other friends know that she was like this in private?

Damn, this lady surely knows how to make other people suffer, but in a good way.

Thankfully, they reached the inn and Leeshay toned herself, making herself look more proper and primr.

Calista shook her head helplessly as Mammy Lena helped her to alight from the carriage.

The two friends entered the inn and, with the maids’ help, managed to pack everything.

As they left, Calista left a ssage for the coachman, so that he would know where to find her if he needed her.

As she was going to stay with Leeshay, she couldn’t bring a man to a house where the man of the house wasn’t usually there.

With Leeshay’s husband being on the road most of the ti juggling between two houses, she didn’t want to cause trouble.

People’s minds were hard to read. And she didn’t want to cause any trouble.

So, she left the coachman at the inn and brought Mammy Lena with her.

She didn’t know what the following days were going to be like, but one thing was for certain as she looked at the enthusiastic Leeshay who hadn’t closed her mouth for a second.

It was going to be one heck of a great trip.
