At the question of food, Calista, who had eaten before leaving, found herself feeling hungry again. After walking for an hour, she expended a lot of energy, so eating again wouldn’t be a problem.
"Give a bowl of porridge, vegetables and shredded chicken!" without looking at the nu, she gave her order.
The server nodded, accepting the order and Mammy Lena simply followed Calista’s choice.
After taking the order, the server respectfully left, leaving the two alone.
Mammy Lena started glancing around, checking the restaurant with curiosity in her eyes. After checking the place for a while, she turned to Calista and asked, "Miss, do you know the owner?"
Calista continued to fan herself, a smile still on her face. "Um, I know her. In fact, I invested in the restaurant. It should be at least nine or eight years ago if I am not mistaken!" her eyes squinting as she recalled the ti back then.
This answer surprised Mammy Lena. "You ... you truly invested in this restaurant?" she blurted in wonder.
This restaurant was very big and the majority of the tables were occupied. With a glance, she could tell that it was very popular. The kind that could earn the owner gold daily.
To think that her Miss has a hand in the restaurant, she found it very marveling.
Calista humd in response; her eyes narrowed into slits.
Mammy Lena, seeing that, knew that it was indeed the case. She couldn’t help but ask how she did it.
"It’s quite simple, actually. Back then, she wanted to close. Too much competition on the block. However, if she closed, she was going to be forced to marry soone she didn’t love. Feeling pity for her, I gave her a few recipes and capital. And her business blood!" Calista explained as briefly as she could about that situation back then.
Hearing that, Mammy Lena felt like she now understood why Calista did it. In these past few days, she had realized sothing.
Her Miss, despite her foul mouth at tis, was very generous and her love for empowering won was high, though she was a bit lazy when doing serious things.
"You did a good thing. You will be rewarded greatly!"
"Hehe, I always get rewarded all the ti. Don’t worry!"
After waiting for a while, the food was delivered. With food right in front of them, the two started digging in as they waited for the madam that Calista wanted to see.
anwhile, in a certain manor, a lady in her twenties was busy grooming flowers in the garden when a maid rushed in hastily, making her frown with displeasure.
"Have you lost your manners?" another maid, the head maid, chastised the maid that just rushed in with a frosty expression.
The maid hurriedly bowed repeatedly in apology before saying, "I am sorry, but I couldn’t help it. I have a ssage for the lady. Madam Solace is at the restaurant and she is waiting for the lady!" excitent was visible on her face.
"Snap."
Upon hearing what the maid had just said, the lady trimming the flowers snapped the flower she was trimming in half, however, the joy on her face was enough to show that the flower at this mont didn’t an so much as everyone thought it was.
"You said that she is here? You are not lying to ?" the lady asked in a trembling voice, looking at the maid who had just reported.
The maid hurriedly shook her head, saying, "I am not. The ssenger said that she ca with an order lady and right now she is eating her favorite dish as she awaits!"
"Boom!" upon hearing that, fireworks exploded in the lady’s head before saying as she started walking away, "Hurry, prepare the carriage. I will change and be out in a mont!"
Seeing their lady in a hurry, all the maids scurried to prepare everything. Ten minutes later, the lady was all dressed up and on her way to the awaiting carriage outside the manor.

Back at the restaurant, Calista took her ti to eat and when she was done, she rely sat there digesting her food as she looked around, loving how fully packed the restaurant was.
After waiting for god knows how long, she heard a familiar voice.
"Where is she?" and her tone sounded pretty urgent.
Calista, hearing that voice, turned her head around, coming face to face with the person she hadn’t seen in a very long ti.
Seeing the other, Calista couldn’t help but raise her brows as she looked at the beautifully dressed lady who loved fashion, just like her.
Wearing a pink full skirt which twirled as she walked and a white blouse which made her look very youthful, Calista couldn’t help but nod her head approvingly. She loved it when she saw beautiful people dressed beautifully like this.
"My dear friend!" upon seeing her, the lady called out excitedly as she increased her pace, walking towards Calista.
Calista seeing that she had been spotted, raised from her chair with a smile on her face showcasing her beautiful dress as well.
Being pregnant, and afraid of stifling her baby, she wore a boob-tube dress with a blouse on top. However, despite the dress being loose, it still made her look pretty.
Clothes loved Calista so much that even if she wore a sack over her head, she would still look elegant.
"There you are!" Calista’s eyes squinted as she spread her arms shalessly.
The lady, whose na was Leeshay or Lady Garth, bubbled as she noticed that her dear friend hadn’t changed a bit at all.
Even in public, she was still as thick-skinned as she could be. It was only Calista in the whole city who was capable of being intimate in public without losing face.
And knowing her friend, Leeshay, who had been tired of the constraining rules without Calista around, opened her arms as well, startling those who were watching.
"What are they doing?"
"Haha, so Lady Garth’s friend is back?"
"You know her?"
"She is pretty famous!"
"You will know about her once you start asking around!"
