Calista, seeing the lady shy, didn’t make things difficult for her.

However, now that she was awake, there were certain things that she wanted to know. After all, this lady practically appeared from nowhere. She didn’t want to live with a person she knew nothing about.

She just hoped that she wouldn’t faint from mory loss like how Orson did. That was a sly move that nearly got her. Only if he wasn’t impatient when investigating her that he exposed himself to Blackey. She wouldn’t have known at all that her husband had greater secrets than he let on.

What a sham of a scholar!

Anyway, she needed to set aside Orson and deal with the lady to know more about her.

So, after sorting her thoughts, she asked the other, "How are you feeling now? Any lingering pain or dizziness?" asking for conversation’s sake.

With how wonderful her dicine was, there was no way a person would feel those aftereffects.

When the lady heard the question, a smile blossod on her face before responding, "I am feeling pretty well. Thank you for saving !" She was very grateful for the saving grace.

She could even feel so of her old ailnts gone. She didn’t know what the other fed her, but whatever it was, whenever she took it, she could feel it coursing through her body, warming it and healing it.

She had never felt so light and energetic as now. it was because of her ailing health that she decided to take this dangerous trip. Since she was dying, it didn’t hurt to do so in exchange for her mistress’s happiness.

That’s how dedicated she was.

"It’s good to see that you are feeling well!" Calista, despite knowing the answer, still said relievedly.

At least with her getting better, she would be getting her answers quickly as well.

Bowing solemnly towards Calista, the lady said gratefully, "It’s all because of you. Thank you! I don’t know what I can do to repay you?"

Calista chuckled lightly, finding the lady to be very cultured.

"Hehe, if you want to repay , then help understand who you are and why you are here. What’s really going on?" she couldn’t help but ask curiously.

Until now, she still had no clue why Orson was with her and what he really wanted from her. She didn’t lose a single hair when he was with her. He was capable of leaving, and yet he took his ti to remain by her side. Just what did he gain from doing so?

This ti, she wanted to know all the answers. At least accommodating a person with motives, she knew, was better than getting a second Orson.

If she wasn’t strong, Orson would have killed her if he wanted to do so. He was simply too devious, deceptive and too good at masking his emotions.

The lady sighed knowingly when the barrage of questions was thrown at her. It would have sounded unbelievable if the other hadn’t asked her.

She was planning on introducing herself, anyway. Only in this way can she receive the help she seeks. If it fails, then she might as well consider it a loss and a vacation. It’s been ages since she left the city.

"First, I am sorry for intruding. I don’t know what damage I might have caused by appearing, but still thank you for taking in, treating and not throwing away!" the lady said gratefully, her eyes earnest as she looked at Calista.

Calista, being gazed at with those eyes, felt uncomfortable for no reason. The other person looked very earnest and sincere and she suddenly started feeling bad for questioning the other.

’I won’t be fooled. This ti I will get all the answers before accommodating further!’ she resolutely made up her mind, centing the part of her heart that was starting to loosen.

"It’s okay. I will still help anyone in need!" Calista responded truthfully.

There was sothing called karma. A person needs to do good in life. It wasn’t certain how the future would be, but if you were at least a good person in so way, so misfortunes could be easily escaped from.

The lady nodded in understanding as she thought inwardly, ’Good manners and straightforward, just like my mistress!’ her affection for Calista increasing as well.

"I am Lena, but you can call Mammy Lena, just like how I have been called for decades now. I hail from the empire of Azov and the kingdom of Pothex," Mammy Lena started introducing herself as she looked at Calista.

Calista hearing that, she couldn’t help but look dumbfoundedly at Mammy Lena, very stunned at where she ca from.

This world was divided into empires rather than continents. There were four empires, naly Kaneria, Azov, Literra and Sama.

Kaneria is the na of the empire where Calista was currently living right now, with her kingdom being Razzia.

Azov was a neighboring empire, separated by the sea, and the two empires were at least on good terms. It’s been centuries since a war broke out between empires, especially after they were ford.

However, the border between the two empires from where she was staying would take months to nearly a year if she wasn’t mistaken.

After all, they had to leave Razzia and then pass two or three more kingdoms before reaching the nearest coastal city or town with direct ships to Azov.

Calista had actually never left Razzia before, but she had read so books and listened to so adventurers and rchants before. Her knowledge was limited, but she knew that it was far away.

Who was so capable of sending soone from that empire to Kaneria?

"Mammy Lena, do you know where you are?" Calista couldn’t help but cut Mammy Lena in her introductions a mont later.

Mammy Lena looked at Calista a bit dumbfounded. From the way Calista was looking at her, she had an inkling that things might be bad.

"I can’t be in another world, am I?" that was sothing that she feared.

As long as she was in the sa world, she could return ho, but if not, then she was dood. After all, that strange person only provided a one-way ticket.

"No, it’s still the sa world but ...." Calista startled, explaining to the other.
