314 Ch. 314 The Revenge On Progress
Richard shook his head resignedly when he saw Anxia gobble up three dium slices of pizza. In the end, his wife couldn’t keep her promise and ate more than one pizza, and Anxia knew how to make Richard unable to refuse her request.
After enjoying the light al, the two continued their journey to the hospital where Anxia’s father was treated. Anxia imdiately headed to her father’s room while Richard talked to the doctor who treated Zhou Yu Hue.
Once every week, Anxia would visit her father, hoping that she would see her father’s eyelids open. Sotis she also brought her kids to et their grandfather. Elliot had often visited Zhou Yu Hue, while Lori had never seen the older man, so she was awkward. Nonetheless, Lori imdiately adored her grandfather as much as Stanley when she heard that Anxia loved Zhou Yu Hue.
Anxia also wanted to go to Hong Kong to find out about her mother’s funeral, but she obeyed Richard’s advice to wait for the children to beco older or wait for her father to wake up first.
She also wanted to go to China to see Deke Shu to demand an explanation for her mother’s death and how careless the older man was for letting soone else take her mother’s identity. There were so many things Anxia wanted to ask her grandfather, but Richard managed to persuade her by saying not to appear in Asia for a while because of the condition of the hunters after Yu Long’s neck.
As they expected, as soon as the shadowy businessn discovered that their information had been exposed and their money in the bank started to decrease by a wide margin, they imdiately went after Yu Long.
The Cerberus team also inford the hunters of Yu Long’s hiding location without leaving any traces while allowing master Yu to escape from the clutches of the enemies occasionally.
They made Yu Long like a mouse who thought he had managed to hide in a secret passage without knowing that the course was a labyrinth belonging to Cerberus.
Richard deliberately toyed with Yu Long’s life and made the man think he had managed to escape when in fact, the man’s life had long been in his grasp.

Almost every week, Yu Long had to think of a way to move out of town and erase his tracks, making him no longer able to think of taking revenge. Not to ntion, a travel ban prevented him out of the country. Yu Long was angry and suspected that this was the work of Anxia and her husband. He felt extre hatred and longed to kill Anxia and Xuemin, who had betrayed him, but he focused on saving his neck before plotting revenge against the Anxia family.
Unfortunately, whenever he thought he was safe and settled sowhere, he felt that soone from the hunting party had found him. Like it or not, Yu Long had to find another safe place to hide.
His cash was running low, and he could only rely on his n, who were still loyal to him, to give him funds. He had even smuggled himself aboard one of the trading ships to avoid being tracked, but sohow his location was always found by his hunters.
i Yin told Richard about Yu Long’s weakness last year―the man had a disorder and couldn’t sll. To prove this information, Richard sent a mber of Cerberus to hide a colorless but very slly gas in Yu Long’s safe house.
And it was true; the man didn’t react even though the gas had filled his hiding room. Yu Long also didn’t suspect anything because the gas had no color, and the amount was so thin that it was invisible to the naked eye.
Yu Long didn’t know that the gas was not ordinary but a microbot created by Richard―a tracking device. The size of this microbot was very small, even smaller than dust, so humans cannot see it without tools.
This microbot moved along with the flow of gas that filled the room until it was inhaled by Yu Long, making the man feel itchy on his nose. Yu Long had sneezed several tis, but the device managed to enter his body.
No one would be able to get the microbot out of Yu Long’s body and never notice a tracking signal inside his body.
This way, even if Yu Long were at the end of the world and disguised himself to change his face as the fake Loraine did, Cerberus could still find him and lead the hunters toward him.
When Anxia heard what Yu Long had experienced and saw how the man’s expression to run away and find a hiding place through CCTV footage in Hong Kong, Anxia was satisfied.
Richard was right. Giving that man a death would be the lightest punishnt, and seeing that man has to live a life like her who has to run from enemies was a fitting punishnt.
Anxia had lived by running away while protecting Lori for three years, so at least the man would have to suffer for another three years… or his whole life.
“Father, when will you wake up? Don’t you want to et your granddaughter?” as usual, Anxia spoke to her father even though she knew she would get no response from the man. “Do you know where Yu Long is right now? He is in a slum village and disguises himself as a resident there. We let him sleep peacefully for three hours before giving his location to the enemy. Right now, that person must be trying to escape again.”
Anxia clasped her father’s right hand with both hands and then pressed it against her cheek.
“I have already avenged what he did, and there will no longer be anyone who will corner us. I’ve lost my mother and don’t want to lose you too. Please, hurry up and wake up.”
Anxia focused on looking at her father’s face, looking for signs of a reaction while feeling her father’s hand that she held, but nothing―there was no reaction from her father today either.
Unbeknownst to her, Zhou Yu Hue had given a reaction through his left hand―his middle finger shifted a little, followed by the other three fingers.
