312 Ch. 312 Anxia Craves For Pizza
Without realizing it, a year has passed since they returned from Etros. Elliot’s acceptance toward others improved, and no longer be wary of Richard’s family. The boy even seed happier when Richard put Elliot in the sa school as Lori and made many new friends there.
The fake Loraine never introduced Elliot to other kids his age and always put the boy in the middle of the older woman’s crew. It explained why Elliot thought so differently and felt the pressures adults should feel while living on the island.
Now that he has t many kids his age and talked to them all, Elliot was slowly returning to being himself as he should be. He could draw whatever he wanted without fear of soone not liking his drawing. Elliot could also refuse sothing without fear of punishnt if he didn’t want it.
Anxia and Richard taught him to be honest in expressing his feelings; at the sa ti, they would scold him if Elliot made a mistake.
They never punished Elliot and gave him understanding and advice to make the boy understand what he could and couldn’t do. Now Elliot behaved like any normal kid his age―sotis naughty, but not too much, and still polite to much older people.
Elliot has even fully accepted the presence of isya and was very close to this loving woman. However, he still kept his distance from Stanley. Even though he had accepted the man wholeheartedly, Elliot was still a little afraid to face his grandfather. Well, at least the fear has lessened a lot from last year. And the big family didn’t force him to accept Stanley either.
Now that Stanley and isya were old and lonely since their three children had settled down, they accepted Richard’s offer to live with him in Kensington.
That’s why Elliot was no longer too afraid of eting Stanley. On the contrary, he was most eager to et Stanley to see how his grandfather tinkered with the mini robot.
Occasionally Harmonie would visit London and play with him and Lori, but Elliot had never t Raymond and the rest of the extended family in the united states.

Sotis Richard invited his two children to join in on video calls made by his father so that Elliot could see new faces from his father’s extended family. Unfortunately, he never saw Raymond or Diego because Elliot was asleep or at school. The mont was never right, making Elliot have never seen those two n’s families.
They could have gone to Arica, or the family in Arica had gone to England. Still, the timing was always unsuitable, considering that each of his father’s relatives was a company director in each representative’s place.
Their schedules were tight and hectic. Not to ntion, they had their desire to travel abroad. Hence once a year, they would designate a week to get together to spend the holiday season in the sa place.
Last year, only Richard and his little family missed this big gathering due to trouble at Etros and focused on getting Elliot in shape. Even though Elliot looked smiling and carefree on the outside, they knew their son couldn’t sleep well and often woke up from nightmares of being strangled by Song Lei or beaten by that man.
Richard and Anxia were on alert every night in case their son woke up suddenly and broke out in a cold sweat. They worked together to comfort and reassure Elliot that nothing could hurt him.
Lori was sotis awakened by the movent of the twin beside her―she hugged Elliot without waiting for her parents. Even though Elliot was born first and was Lori’s older brother, Lori often played the role of an older sister and gave peace to her brother.
Elliot didn’t mind the reverse role and let Lori hug him like an older sister hugging her brother. After all, he had never felt like he was getting attention from a child his age, let alone from his sister.
As ti passed, Elliot’s nightmares gradually disappeared, and he no longer woke up in the middle of the night. That’s why they could gather with other families this year.
But one morning...
“Urgh!” For so unknown reason, Anxia felt nausea and wanted to vomit everything inside her belly. She looked at her family with a guilty look as now they were enjoying breakfast together. But she couldn’t help it―she felt nauseous as soon as she slled the aroma of her favorite fish soup.
Very weird.
“I’m sorry.”
“Are you not feeling well, darling?” isya asked in a gentle tone while looking at Anxia worriedly. It was very unusual to see Anxia fall ill, except for a gunshot wound the other day.
In addition, Anxia took great care of her health so that she rarely gets sick. Well, even though she had stopped being an assassin seven years ago, the habit she had cultivated since childhood was tough for her to stop.
Anxia was used to keeping herself strong and not easily weak to avoid getting sick. That’s why she was confused that she suddenly felt nauseous right now.
“Are you feeling unwell?” Richard snaked his arm around his wife’s waist while stroking Anxia’s arm with his other hand.
Actually, Anxia had been feeling nauseous since earlier, when she had just woken up. But because she didn’t want to worry her husband or parents-in-law, Anxia decided not to tell the truth.
“No. I’m fine. Maybe I ate too much last night.” Anxia’s answer shyly earned an amused smile from Richard.
The answer was acceptable, considering Anxia ate ten slices of pizza yesterday because Lori and Elliot invited their school friends to play at their house.
As a result, they ordered ten large pizza boxes and downplayed the kids’ appetites. They forgot that kids eat less than adults, so there were lots of pizza slices left.
They could have shared the pizzas with their servants or stored them in the fridge. But last night, Anxia’s appetite exploded, and she ate ten large pizzas in no ti.
It was not a surprise that Anxia was feeling unwell now.
“That’s weird. If I rember correctly, you don’t like pizza, right?” guessed isya suspiciously.
“Yes, mother. It was unusual, but I was craving it.”
“I see... Could it be... you’re pregnant?”
