254 Ch. 254 The Answer Anxia Wanted
“I’d like to see your master.” That was the first thing that ca out of Anxia’s mouth after escorting Elliot to his room and eting her new attendant.
“My apology. Master Shu is not in this country at the mont. Instead, there is soone who wants to et you. I will escort you to the place if you don’t mind.”
“Why didn’t he just co here?”
“We don’t want to attract too much attention from your mother.”
Anxia’s brow furrowed at this, suspecting even Deke Shu was hiding sothing from his daughter. The longer she lived here, the more Anxia realized her family was ssy.
It’s no wonder that at the beginning of her pregnancy, Anxia didn’t love her fetus in the slightest, and she took extre asures to abort the fetus. If Ling ng hadn’t persuaded her then, Anxia would never have felt what it’s like to be a mother who loves her child.

“Miss, are you leaving now?” in a polite and respectful tone, Liam asked back without feeling intimidated by a stern and suspicious look from Anxia.
“Should I go? I’m sure I have nothing to discuss with anyone other than my mother or grandfather.”
“I can tell her you don’t want to see her. But miss, you might get the answers you want to seek if you see her.”
Her? So it was a woman who’d like to et Anxia. “Does this lady know what I wanted to know the most?”
“You will know once you et her.” ca the lad’s straightforward answer.
Anxia wanted to know whether Loraine Shu was her mother or Jamie. But she didn’t need to go out because Richard would tell her the results in a mont. He also wanted to know who had saved her father when a group of people beats Zhou Yu Hue almost to death. Anxia even felt that the person who saved her father had so intentions.
All the negative thoughts and various kinds of suspicion that assaulted her brain made Anxia feel ntally tired and weak.
Just a while ago, she had closed her past grudges and reconciled with Michele. Now she must be confronted by an unknown past with many dark secrets.
Knowing that her parents were still alive was a miracle she never expected.
Suppose there was one question that she needed an answer to, that was to find out who the mysterious man that traumatized her son was—she wanted to find out that man’s identity. If that person threatened to cut off her son’s tongue, then Anxia would carry out that threat and cut off that man’s tongue because that evil man had uttered a toxic phrase to her son’s mind—inflicting a deep trauma and turning her innocent baby boy into soone she’s not.
Anxia glanced at Liam once again, wondering if she would be able to find the man who had threatened her son if she t the person Liam was referring to.
“Alright. When do we leave?”
“We can leave now if you wish.”
“But my mother...”
“Don’t worry. The madam had rested in her room, and she wouldn’t want to be disturbed for a few hours.”
What a hard-working attendant this guy is. Without knowing whether Anxia would be willing to leave or not, this guy had prepared everything. Remarked Anxia in her mind. “Let’s go now, then.”
As Liam said, Loraine Shu was resting in the room right now while i Yin accompanied Elliot to study. Thus no one would realize Anxia had gone sowhere, and she would be back before Loraine woke up from her peaceful rest ti. Furthermore, Anxia had started to be able to entrust Elliot’s safety to the girl even though she didn’t like the young girl.
Thus, she didn’t need to worry that Loraine Shu would inquire about her whereabouts and vent her anger on Elliot. She knew Loraine wouldn’t be able to hurt Elliot, but it seed her lover could hurt the boy regardless of whether Elliot was Deke Shu’s great-grandson.
But Anxia wasn’t worried because Elliot would be fine if i Yin were by Elliot’s side.
Anxia walked casually to the pier to cross the ocean by boat. When she arrived at the port, soone ca to this island and got off his boat.
The person was a middle-aged man who still looked dashing and muscular, but his facial appearance was quite grueso due to the deep scar caused by a sharp object from the left temple down to the nose and right lower jaw.

If she had known that the person who had just arrived was the one who was punishing and threatening Elliot, perhaps Anxia would not have just let that man go.
