199 Ch. 199 The Twins’ Reason
After making sure their two wives were out of sight, the twins
walked away from the crowd into a corridor where no one was. Then they imdiately looked at the tiny child who was still holding Richard.
“Baby girl, how do you know it’s ?”
Lori answered him by brushing her cheek against Richard’s, making
Richard laugh. “From your cheek. And your neck’s rim is slightly bigger than Uncle’s.”
“Now I understand why you hug my neck like that. It turned out you wanted to asure my neck,” Raymond guessed without being able to hide his amused tone. “Brother, your daughter is amazing.” Raymond’s complint made Richard’s expression fill with priceless pride.
“But… did you aware of Anxia’s strange behavior? Her expression is similar to when we were at the Thas.”
Richard’s smile vanished when he heard his brother’s words. “I did. It Looks like an intruder has co here.”
“On that note, I also saw Sister Chleo here.” Raymond was sure Axelard was also here, considering the man would never leave his wife’s side.

“Not only Sister Chleo, but I also saw Kenken.”
“Kenken? Did Uncle Leon also invite Uncle Kinsey?”
“I doubted that. Maybe Chleo brought Kendrich here.”

“I know what you’re thinking.” the man guessed when he realized that Anxia’s big smile made the girl imdiately lose her smile.
“You purposely held my hand to find out if I was wearing an anniversary
bracelet, right?”
“…”
“What if I had taken it off?”
“You took it off?”
“Who knows? It could be that I didn’t have it from the start or took it off as I said.”
Anxia bit her lip as she glanced at her dance partner’s twin brother, who was currently dancing with Michele. Did they even switch positions even though they were dancing with their wives?!
“If you are not my husband, I will kill myself. I’ve never touched
another man besides my husband since I got married.”
The man smiled broadly at that. “I’m sure your husband would
be proud to hear that.”
“I’m serious with what I said. Because we are from different countries, you may not understand. To us, touching a man who is not our husband is cheating.”
“Do you always act like this?”
“Didn’t Richard tell you?”
“We don’t need to tell each other what we already know.”
For the umpteenth ti, Anxia bit her lip in annoyance. For a mont, she almost provoked the man to admit his na. However, her dance partner returned to neutral without giving a hint.
“Lady Calvin, the song has started. You can think of dancing with your brother if I’m not your husband.”

“Now I know the feeling dancing with an older brother feels like. Thanks for giving it to , Raymond.” The man raised an eyebrow at the tone filled with confidence. “I know you’re not my husband—I could feel it when you grasped my hand.”
Raymond gave a gentle smile without providing any confirmation. At the sa ti, Michele also learned the identity of her dance partner in the sa way. When their hands touched the gentlen, the ladies did not feel the tickle of passion or excitent. Instead, they felt warmth as if they were holding hands with family mbers.
Even though the pair of twins could behave and give off the sa vibe, their treatnt of their wife and brother-in-law was very different.
“Brother Richard, do you still insist on making Harmonie sad?”
Richard sighed softly at his sister-in-law’s question. “Can we not talk about it? We’d better finish this dance peacefully.”
“I want that too, but you know I owe Harmonie one. Besides, I
love her, so I can’t stand to see her miserable like this.”
“You owe her?”
Just like Michele, who was looking for information about the
rejection of the twins, Anxia also did the sa thing. “Even though the Heinest family seems filled with fakes, at least Andrew Heinest sincerely loves Harmonie. Why did you forbid them to be together?” Anxia asked relentlessly to pry into her brother-in-law.
After all, they weren’t dancing with their husbands, so they
could freely search for information. If it were their husbands dancing with
them right now, they weren’t sure if they could keep up with their husband’s puns.
Right now, Richard and Raymond would be ticulous in answering their questions because they would never treat their sister-in-law the way
they would with their wife.
In the end, Richard and Raymond decide to give up and give the
two girls an answer, leaving them muted. The twins’ reasons were quite acceptable, and now Anxia and Michele were having doubts about whether they should continue to support Harmonie or change sides.
