179 Ch. 179 The Invitation

Even though Anxia tried to get out of Master Yu’s clutches―Master Yu would never stop hunting her down as long as she was alive in this world since that wicked, ruthless older man wanted the contents of the chip. Thinking about this and being unable to find the right answer made Anxia break out in a cold sweat and her heart trembled violently.

Reflexively, her eyes lifted, looking for her husband as if her soul wanted peace. And as soon as she saw the gentle smile of her husband, then her heart started beating normally again.

Not only her husband’s smile but a tiny hand holding her hand―Lori held her as if the child could sense her anxiety― made Anxia, ??who previously felt alone at the bottom of the dark abyss, suddenly have a pair of wings and soar to the sky.

“Dad, I have confird for the ti being that person will not be able to co to England. I have asked for a ban for that man and his underling―they would never step foot in this place again.”

Anxia widened her eyes in disbelief upon hearing her husband’s explanation. When did Richard ask for a ban? After all, where did he have the connections to get the British governnt to ban tourists?

“Not only in England―all countries in the Europe continent would not welco all of them. As long as Anxia and Richard are in Europe, they will be safe,” added Raymond, explaining what they had been doing for the last two days.

Stanley nodded his head, satisfied with the explanation of his two sons.

In fact, he was planning to have European countries’ governnts ban Anxia’s enemies if his two children didn’t think of it this way. But fortunately, her sons were smart enough to think of appropriate and efficient solutions to protect Anxia, and they did not need to intervene or fight their enemies directly.

“Therefore, we’d better forget about this and enjoy our vacation,” Richard suggested in a cheerful tone as he raised and lowered his eyebrows playfully at Anxia, making the girl giggle at the sight.

.....

“But, what about the wound? She is still recovering.”

“Ah, that’s right. Anxia still needs a lot of rest.” isya also agreed to her youngest daughter’s suggestion, which made Anxia imdiately feel weak.

Once again, she glanced at Richard, hoping he could help her to clarify that she was all right. But her annoying husband turned his gaze towards his twin and struck another convo.

The man pretended not to see her pleading look!! Anxia frowned at her husband’s attitude.

“Anxia, ??are you starting to feel bored in the house all the ti?” luckily, her mother-in-law was aware of her disapproving expression and questioned her with great concern.

“Yes, I am. Moreover, this is the first ti I’ve left my room after Richard locked for two days.”

“I didn’t lock you up, honey. I don’t want your wound exposed to the outside wind.”

Anxia rolled her eyes lazily at her husband’s nonsensical answer.

How could her wound be exposed to the wind when her upper body was covered with bandages and cloth?

The bandages should have been allowed to be removed, but Richard insisted on keeping the wound closed so that the gunshot wound would not co in contact with water or anything that could infect the wound.

“How about we attend Leonard’s wedding anniversary? He sent an invitation to co to his mansion in Birmingham.”

Hearing isya’s words, Stanley and Richard’s bodies stiffened, and no one noticed the change in their expressions. Richard glanced at his father, hoping Stanley would persuade his mother not to force his three children to co to the event. It didn’t matter if Raymond and Harmonie wanted to co, but Richard would never want to co. He also believed that his wife would feel uncomfortable knowing who Leonard was.

Stanley understood his son’s heart and then tried to persuade his wife not to co.

“You know we can’t refuse him. I haven’t seen him in a long ti. Ah, by the way, he wants to et your wives and children.”

Richard broke out in a cold sweat hearing his mother’s words.

“So you guys should co too.”

Unlike Richard, who felt like he was standing in the middle of a battlefield, Raymond accepted his mother’s request with ease.

“Of course. It’s been a long ti since I’ve seen Uncle Leo and Andrew.” Raymond said slightly enthusiastically, making Michele curious about Uncle Leo or Andrew. When they had their wedding in Holland, there were no guests nad Leo or Andrew, so Michele was inquisitive.

“Ah, right. My brother didn’t co to your wedding, so it looks like this will be your first eting.” isya said softly when she looked at Michele and Anxia, ??without realizing that her eldest son, sitting next to her, was massaging his temple.

Anxia saw her husband’s resigned behavior and wondered if he was feeling dizzy. Or did her husband not like his mother’s sibling’s family?

Why did that man look so unusual?

After all, why did the nas Leo and Andrew ring a bell in her mind? It seed like she had heard their nas sowhere, but Anxia couldn’t even rember where she had heard those two nas.

“How about you, Moni? Would you like to co with us?” asked isya when she saw that her youngest daughter was not too excited to see Uncle Leo.

It wasn’t that she didn’t like her uncle; it was Leo’s son that made her reluctant to co. Not to ntion Leo’s prideful daughter... made Moni more unwilling to attend the party.

But, since it was Uncle Leo’s wedding anniversary, Harmonie said yes to paying respects to one of her favorite uncles.

On the other hand, Richard…

“Richard? How about you?”

“Can I pass? I’m not in the mood to attend a crowded event. After all, Xia Xia still needs ti to recover.”

“What are you talking about? The event is still next week. Do you wish that Anxia would still be sick until next week?”

Richard sighed resignedly at Harmonie’s comnt, which didn’t help him.

“Do you still not want to et Quinn?”

Clink!

All eyes were on Anxia, who accidentally dropped her tea cup onto the table, spilling its contents.
