124 [Bonus chapter] Ch. 124 What Does Quinn Want?
“Richard, instead of expecting sothing impossible, why don’t you give her what she wants? Wouldn’t that be easier?”
“…”
“Did the culprit ask for sothing?” asked Sheylie in worry. “Did she ask for ransom?”
“Who knows?”
If Quinn did ask for ransom, Anxia was sure Richard would imdiately issue whatever amount Quinn wanted. That man could afford to spend money on her, so he wouldn’t hesitate to shell out a fantastic amount of money to make up for his daughter’s safety.
Only, Anxia knew very well that what Quinn wanted wasn’t ransom. After all, why would soone as wealthy as Quinn Heinest want money?
“Really, who is the perpetrator who has poisoned this poor child? How tough is that person?”
Richard still didn’t answer, as if his whole brain had suddenly turned off to the point where he couldn’t even think anymore.
“That person called Lady Q. Have you ever heard of her?” Richard seed to be lost in his own world, and it was Anxia who answered Sheylie’s question.

“I think so.”
“I’ve heard of her na but never t her. All I know is that Richard has been deliberately moving around for the past two years to avoid this person.”

As if Richard didn’t hear the conversation between the two won near him, he reached into his phone to call Diego. He could never give Quinn what he wanted. Even if the world was going to end and he had to risk his own life, he would never give it.

He believed the only person who could save his daughter was Kirena, and the person who could track down the woman’s whereabouts was Diego Regnz, owner of the Tiffany II program.
Richard walked out and imdiately contacted Diego without knowing that Anxia was secretly following him.
“Diego, I need your help. Can you find Kirena?”
“Aunt Kirena? What do you want to find her for?”
“Quinn gave my son poison.”
“Ha? What for…? Did she ask anything of you?” hearing no answer from there made Diego feel angry. Even though he doesn’t like Anxia, ??a forr assassin who beca the wife of one of his younger cousins, Diego still considers the girl and Lori his family. “Good heaven! That woman has gone mad! I’ll imdiately look for Aunt Kirena.”
“I’m with Sheylie. Maybe Alex can track down his daughter and get here soon.”
“Okay.”
After closing the call connection, Richard could only breathe a little bit easier, but he wouldn’t be able to feel relieved until Lori took the antidote.
Even if Diego had managed to find Kirena, she would have needed more ti to co here while Lori’s ti kept getting shorter and shorter.
What should he do?
He had already ordered his team to keep an eye on the house that Quinn was currently living in. Richard was eager to get his n to sneak in and find his daughter’s antidote, but he doubted Quinn would be so stupid to keep the cure with her.
There was nothing he could do but wait. It seed the only hope he could rely on was Kirena.
“Richard, what exactly does that woman want? Why don’t you want to give it? Does Lori’s existence not matter to you?”
The accusation that ca from Anxia’s mouth made Richard’s heart stab.
“Of course, Lori’s existence is very important to . I would do anything to make her happy, but not this one. I won’t give it, not to Quinn or anyone else.”
Anxia snorted sarcastically at that. “I’m really disappointed. I thought you were the perfect father to Lori, but I guess I was wrong.”
“Xia Xia,”
“Don’t call that. Hearing you call by a nickna like that disgusts .”
Anxia walked back inside without caring about her husband’s hurt expression. Richard felt a dilemma with his decision. Should he tell his wife the truth? But what if his wife doesn’t react and tells him to give it?
His heart would be broken, and if he complied with his wife’s request, he would feel his soul was broken, and he would never be able to escape his broken heart.
“Xia Xia, you have no idea what she wants from . She wanted a child with . If you find out, are you still going to tell to give it?”
If so, he’d rather be dead. Even though Anxia let him sleep with other won, even though Anxia didn’t mind Richard playing the woman behind her, Richard adhered to the principle that he would never betray the woman who beca his wife.
On the other hand, Anxia returned to the room to hug Lori. Her heart felt burning and deeply disappointed because Richard was more concerned with an ‘item’ that Quinn wanted than their daughter’s life.
After all, Richard only needed to give it away, and they could take it back at any ti. What made the man not willing to give it? This really made her furious!
Anxia heard her phone beep, indicating an incoming ssage. She felt reluctant to pick up her phone, but instinct told her that the incoming ssage was important.
After all, this new phone was a gift from Richard, and no one knew her number. Even Ling ng didn’t know either, so she wondered who had sent her a ssage.
Anxia sat Lori on the bed to let her daughter play with dolls while she took her phone from her bag. Her brows furrowed as she opened a file containing secret encryption. She doubted that it was Richard or Ling ng from the Cerberus team who had sent her, and she wasn’t sure that Richard knew soone had hacked her phone.
Without telling her husband, Anxia opened the file, and her eyes flashed with danger.
The corners of her lips pulled upwards, showing the flash of her signature smile when she was about to kill soone.
‘If he doesn’t want to save our baby, I’ll do it!’
