116 Ch. 116 Anxia Is Jealous
Anxia realized that her husband’s gaze was starting to dart in all directions, avoiding her. She couldn’t help but feel suspicious of her husband. Richard might have feelings for his cousin, even if it was only a spurt woman. After all, what man wouldn’t fall for that lady Q at first sight?
Anxia suddenly beca insecure about herself. When she heard Richard confess how much he adored her body and loved her, Anxia felt herself to be a beautiful and perfect woman.
But now…
“Forget it.” Anxia was afraid to listen to the answer, and she didn’t want to hear with her ears that her husband had liked another girl.
“Okay. You can ask another one, you know.”
Anxia was even more irritated because her husband seed even more excited not to have to answer her first question.
“Who is more beautiful between and that woman?”
“Why do you ask a question that only has one answer? Of course, you are. You’re more appealing.”
“You are lying. I know she is prettier than . I’m sure everyone says she’s prettier too.”

“Everyone can go to hell, but for , you are the most beautiful woman in the world.”

“Xia Xia, what are you doing?” Richard chuckled in amusent, feeling ticklish when Anxia pulled his head down and combed his hair as if looking for sothing.
“I want to see inside your head. I already knew you weren’t normal, but I never thought you were stupid or sothing was wrong with your eyes. How can you still say I’m beautiful? I really can’t stop thinking, how can you endure when I repeatedly tried to kill you?”
Richard laughed at his wife’s flurry of confusion. He pulled back Anxia’s hands to raise his head again to see his wife’s face.
“Isn’t love mysterious? Love can appear at unanticipated tis and to unexpected people. But when I realize my feelings, I always think about how you can live happily with . You always occupy my thoughts, and I often feel scared when I wake up and can’t see you. You have no idea how broken my heart was when I thought you would walk away from that night.” Richard joined his forehead against his wife’s, making Anxia look down shyly at their faces’ closeness.
“How about you?”
Anxia glanced at Richard with an uncomprehending look.
“I already said that I love you. How about you?”
“I... I don’t know what love is.” Anxia lowered her head even more because she felt that her heart was not strong enough to receive the affectionate gaze from that man’s eyes.
She does thirst for love, but love as a family mber. Receiving the love of a man who wanted to treat her as his queen, Anxia didn’t know how to react.
Richard put his index finger under Anxia’s chin and lifted it slowly, inviting her gently to look at his eyes. “I can teach you.”
Well, wasn’t that what Richard had been doing all along? He told Anxia to figure out how to please and try to rely on him. Anxia complied, and subconsciously, during the ‘mission’ that Richard gave her, Anxia sincerely wanted to do sothing that would please him. And that she did by cooking him his favorite dish.
Richard never thought or hoped that his wife would cook for him, considering how bad Anxia was at cooking. Nevertheless, she did, and it was the most enjoyable dish he had ever had.
“Richard,”
“Hmm?”
“Is Lady Q your cousin?”
“You can say that.”
“What does it an?”
“Her father is my mother’s older brother. So we are cousins.”
“But why did she want to marry you if you are blood family.”
“No. We are not related by blood at all.”
Anxia’s brow furrowed; she didn’t like hearing this. “You are not related by blood? Didn’t you say her father was your mother’s brother?”
“To make it short, the Prussia king took my mother as his illegitimate daughter right after she was born. Everyone thought my mother was the king’s daughter and the younger sister of the other king’s sons. Ultimately, it was discovered that my mother was not his biological child. As a result, Quinn’s father wasn’t my mom’s real brother. But the two of them grew up together, and their siblings’ bond is still strong.”
“So you can get married?”
Richard sighed softly at this question. “I will not marry her. Even if she’s the only one left in this world, I won’t marry her.”
“Why? Isn’t she beautiful?”
“You’re more beautiful.”
“I’m serious.” Anxia smacked Richard’s shoulder playfully.
“Who said I was kidding? I’m serious too.”
“What I an, before eting , you could have married her, right? I don’t believe if that woman had never fluttered your heart.”
“…” Richard’s montary silence made Anxia feel suspicious. “Now I only see you.”
It didn’t soothe her suspicions, and his answer only made it worse. Does that an he once was attracted to that two-faced woman?!
Anxia knew she had no right to be angry because they had only t four years ago while Richard had been seeing Miss Q since they were kids.
Thinking she wasn’t the first girl in Richard’s life sohow made her helpless, and angry. She had heard that a man’s first love was hard to forget. If that were the case, doesn’t that an there was a chance that an old love would rekindle?
A gentle pat on her head broke her deep thoughts.
“What are you thinking right now? I told you to convey all of your worries to . Tell .”
“I’m not your first girl,” Anxia said in a voice so low that it was barely audible.
But the atmosphere up there was tranquil; there was no music or the sound of people talking, so Richard could hear his wife’s whispered words very clearly.
He was still digesting his wife’s words for a few seconds until he realized sothing.
His wife is jealous!
