Zoey's fireballs shot through the air, quickly impacting the slis and causing devastating explosions. The ground cracked and burned, sli goo pooling on the ground.

Zoey's eyes narrowed as she noticed more slis in the distance quickly approaching her, without hesitation, Zoey unleashed another of fireballs that quickly disposed of them.

'Where do they keep coming from? Are they attracted to the Sli King's Core?' Zoey thought, raising a brow curiously, noticing another group of slis approaching from the depths of the forest, transforming into their grotesque forms.

[Mana: 20%]

Zoey's eyes fell on her Mana, realizing that she couldn't keep hurling fireballs at them. Althought it was quick and very effective in clearing a lot of slis, she knew that she had to let her Mana recover, for excessive use of Mana may damage the Mana veins in her body, weaking it severely.

"I'll just use my dagger and shied for now, It's better if my Mana recovers a bit more." Zoey muttered under her breath, taking out her [Goblin Shield] and [Stone Dagger], getting into a fighting stance.

The slis began to barrage her with a multitude of slimy tendrils, but Zoey moving quickly, cutting them down with fast speeds and parrying their attacks with practiced ease.

Zoey then dashed forward, continuing to cut down their attacks and parry the ones coming from her blind spot. Zoey then quickly began to cut down the slis with her dagger, cutting them into two with clean precision as she continued her massacre.

"Hehe~" Zoey grinned, enjoying herself as she continued to cut them down one-by-one. Shortly after that, all the slis were dealt with. Zoey heaved a sigh of relief, finally glad to be able to catch so rest as she leaned against a tree, recovering her Stamina.

Just then, the sound of sothing slithering on the ground caught her attention. She quickly shifted her gaze to the ground, suprised to see a long, tree branch slithering towards her, slowly nearing her leg.

"...." Zoey looked at the tree that was doing this, an unimpressed expression forming on her face, she could already sense it long before it tried to attempt it's sneak attack. It was pitiful really.

"You really thought that would work?" Zoey pushed herself off the tree, dodging another attack with a flip, from the tree she was just leaning on a mont ago, it's long tree branch snapping in the air like a whip in the air, barely missing her.

Zoey landed on the ground gracefully, observing her surroundings. She could feel the bloodlust that was radiating off the trees around her, as they wanted to get rid of her imdiately.

'That was close, if I hadn't sensed them before they tried to make that sneak attack, things could've gone really bad.' She thought, glancing at her Mana, noticing it was now at 28%, still very low.

'I have to hold on a bit longer, till my Mana atleast reaches 35%, then I can start using my [Fireball] Skill.' Zoey thought, leaning to the side to dodge another branch, cutting it before leaping away to dodge another branch.

The vines kept coming from the surrounding trees, they ca from all sides and were difficult to deal with. A branch managed to grab Zoey's leg, wrapping around it tightly.

'Damn it!' Zoey cursed as she raised her dagger to quickly cut it down, but before she could, another branch shot out and seized her hand, preventing her from being able to free herself.

Panic set in her heart as more and more branches wrapped tightly around her body, pulling her limbs tightly. Zoey her arms and legs ache from the pull of the trees, she needed to fight back, to resist the pull with all her might.

"Arrgh!" Zoey yelled furiously, a mix of pain and determination echoing in her voice. The branches began to snap off one-by-one, snapping like whips as they ca off with great effort.

With one final roar all the branched ca off, leaving Zoey panting and tired, her body throbbing with great pain and fatigue. Zoey's eyes shone with murderous fury as she observed the branches fly towards her again, but she had enough of the trees and their gas.

"It's over," Zoey muttered as she activated her [Fireball] Skill, a large amount of fireballs forming around her body, crackling and burning intensely. They weren't close to full power, but if she had to estimate their strength, they would be around Level 20 each.

The fireballs imdiately blasted off and exploded into trees, destroying them imdiately as they were burned to crisps. The air was warm and thick with the sll of ash, Zoey fell tiredly on her back, too tired to move as her Stamina was exhausted by the trees.

[The Sli King's Core Has Absorbed Enough Energy!]

[Activating Portal....]

The system sounded in her head, causing Zoey to heave a sigh of relief. The air cracked and distorted as a bright, shimring, portal materialized infront of Zoey.

'Finally...I'm done with this place.' Zoey thought, smiling slightly as she pushed herself off the ground, walking into the portal. As Zoey passed through the portal, a wave of dizziness hit her as she felt her eyelids becoming heavy.

'What is happening...' Zoey thought, falling asleep in the midst of entering the portal, the world fading to black.

"Gasp!!!" Zoey woke up in her bed, her body drenched full of sweat as she breathed heavily, her eyes wide in shock. She glanced at her window, seeing the golden rays of sunshine shining through her blinds, realizing it was a new day.

Imdiately Zoey quickly opened her status window, her eyes quickly navigating to her [Fireball] Skill, and her [Inventory] just to make sure that everything that happened inside the Trial wasn't a dream.

A sigh escaped her lips as she clutched her heart, a huge sense of relief washing over her.

'The Tower is such a strange place, it requires to be asleep to access, and the Trials are required to be cleared for to be able to level up. Am I the only one able to access the Tower?'

Zoey questioned herself, the question lingering heavily in the air. The Tower Of Hera wasn't a place she heard about until now, the Trials, and the mystery behind the A Hundred Tis System, still had it's secrets that were waiting to be explored.

Just then, a small knock ca from her door, slightly startling her.

'Christine?' Zoey thought as she pushed herself off the bed, only to realize that her clothes were still wet from the Trial.

"Give a minute...." Zoey answered softly, a sigh leaving her lips.

------

Zoey, walked towards the door, now dressed in fresh new clothing. She opened the door to find one of the agents of the Hunter Association, the sa woman who had yelled at her the previous night, imdiately Zoey's mood turned sour upon seeing her.

Behind her, a massive crowd of dia journalist stood beneath the stairs, their cara's flashing and the curious voices of the dia demanding to get Zoey's attention.

'Great....' She sighed inwardly.

"Zoey Monroe, your presence has been requested by the Hunter Association."
