"Bonk, right? Age? Warrior rank?...How big was that deer?"

Garrett asked while examining. Yes, breathing 20

tis per minute, no rales heard in cardiopulmonary auscultation, obvious abdominal distension, tenderness in the upper abdon, no rebound tenderness, and no other significant positive signs. You said you ate half a deer; how big was this deer exactly?

In his life, Garrett had seen Bernard consu the most food in one sitting—nearly an entire roast chicken and a whole roasted lamb (minus one leg) and washed it down with a barrel of beer!

And then, Garrett watched as Bernard’s abdon remained flat as before, showing no bulge. Where all that food went, he didn’t know, but clinically, no abdominal distension ant that the digestive system hadn’t lost its ability to move and digest; it was functioning perfectly normal.

So, Mr. Bonk, your warrior rank—approximately determining your eating and digestive capacity—how high is it, and how big was that deer you ate?

"Bonk, 26, interdiate warrior. The deer was about this big..." soone nearby responded precisely, then paused and gestured with his hands. Garrett looked up briefly, puzzled:

So how big is that?

Garrett’s concept of deer remained deeply ingrained in his mind as resembling a sika deer—not particularly large, at least not compared to the largest goat he had ever seen.

Given the vigor with which Bernard ate the roasted lamb, he doubted Bonk could eat half a sika deer and still stand upright.

Also, what level is an interdiate warrior? Compared to Bernard, is it stronger or weaker?

"Bernard! Bernard—" Co and see if you can beat him? No response; Bernard was probably busy with weighted swimming and hadn’t co along. Garrett called out without turning back:

"Seraila, how does this Bonk compare to Bernard in strength?"

"Not much difference, I guess?" The voice of the silver dragon girl was muffled, seemingly chewing sothing:

"I an, neither can beat …"

"..." Thank you!

Of course, he dared not say that. Firstly, he couldn’t beat Miss Silver Dragon in any way; secondly, Bonk’s warrior level was definitely above five, the [Endless Ink Pen] had tried but failed to reveal, so...

"Seraila, lend

your headpiece!"

Alas, it hurt so much, there was a definite chance of perforation. X-ray films were fine for viewing perforation and intestinal obstruction, but for other conditions, you generally relied on a CT scan. However, with the abdon now swollen like this, filled with content, almost turning from a hollow organ into a solid organ, it was probably still possible to check the morphology...

"Wow!"

Garrett couldn’t help but exclaim. Seraila leaned in at the sound, Garrett waved her over, pointing at the patient’s abdon:

"I’ve never seen it stretched this far! Look, the diaphragm has been pushed up to the eighth rib, and below, it’s reached the pelvis!"

"Wow! Really eh!" Seraila peeked from behind him, scanned quickly, and imdiately clicked her tongue in astonishnt. The plu-crowned elder Brock also ca forward to look, without speaking. As he moved, the barbarian elders surged forward en masse, each peering in:

"Where?"

"Can’t you see how bulging the belly is?"

"I see the belly, but how can you tell from the chest?"

"Is this what he said, ’so special thods, can see inside the human body’? Can we learn?"

"I don’t know... but if he wants a totem beast, maybe we could learn in exchange?"

Garrett tuned them out. He continued his examination, hmm, significant dilation of the stomach and esophagus, a broad fluid level inside, suspected pyloric obstruction; the stomach... X-ray signs of gastric perforation include a crescent-shaped free gas under the diaphragm, but looking at that stomach, where else in the abdon could there be space?

Forget it, let’s proceed with gastric decompression.

"Bonk, turn your head to one side, open your mouth wide, as wide as you can! Seraila, restrain! I’ll do the gastroscopy!"

Garrett ordered as he manually twisted the head. Luckily, Bonk was very cooperative, glanced at the plu-crowned elder, saw him nod slightly, and obediently turned his head. Garrett summoned a floating disc, had people lift the stretcher onto it, and casually summoned so vines.

The almighty vines passed through the oral cavity, through the esophagus, heading straight into the stomach. The esophagus was about to reach its end when Garrett frowned:

Can’t get through.

The vines, no, the vine-version gastroscope, couldn’t get

through.

On the screen, the lower segnt of the esophagus changed from healthy pink to the red that indicates inflammation, violently throbbing. Inflammation at the lower end of the esophagus, spasm of the lower esophageal sphincter...

The gastroscope could not be inserted.

Garrett reluctantly thickened the vines a bit, trying to suck, but only a small amount of fluid ca out, barely effective. He frowned, stood up, and looked around:

"There’s only one way left."

"What?"

"Open up the stomach, draw out what’s inside!"

The hall quieted down instantly. Elders from various villages and tribes looked at each other, faces grim. They too had years of experience treating their people, sotis having to cut a piece of flesh, drill a hole in the head, or make an incision on an arm or leg; but, the success rate of opening up a belly, that was...

Even with healing spells at the ready, sudden blood spurts could occur, healing spells might not keep up; it might seem cured, then a few days later, the person mysteriously died. All sorts of situations could arise, and over ti, unless absolutely necessary, no one would voluntarily cut open a belly.

"Are you confident?"

The elder’s voice remained calm. As the most powerful high-level healer in thousands of miles, he naturally had ways to handle overeating. Confident, he had the leisure to see Garrett’s thods: an additional way of healing is always good, isn’t it?

"I’m... not particularly confident," Garrett hesitated. Simply sucking out stomach contents was one thing, dealing with gastric perforation was another; if necrosis set in, it would be a huge headache:

"But if we leave it, he’s surely dead."

Not particularly confident, that ant there was so confidence. Elder Brock nodded: good, if they really had to open up the belly, his chances of saving the person weren’t particularly great. The young priest didn’t overpromise or boast, which was good!

"If you’re willing, you can try. Of course, if it doesn’t work, the spirit of the totem has nothing to do with you."

"Okay! Then, please give

a quiet, clean place, I’ll start the treatnt! Seraila, the refuge hut!"

"Did you hear? Everyone, back off!" the elder’s booming voice rang out. Soon, the 【Refuge Hut】 unfolded, enveloping Garrett, Seraila, the patient on the bed, and Elder Brock.

Then, the elder watched this servant of the God of Nature, shrink an oak staff and tuck it into his chest pocket, raise his hand, and summon—

A skeleton.

"You?! "

"I have no other choice." Garrett turned to him with a pained expression:

"I can’t cut through!"

Seraila giggled from behind.

Garrett busily cleaned the patient, prepared the skin, and laid down towels. Seven or eight Mage Hands simultaneously flew up, shaking open four green sterile sheets, laid them on all sides, then covered them with a fenestrated drape. With several cloths covering, in the eyes of the healer, there was only a bulging abdon left.

Then, Garrett stood beside the operating table, handed the surgical knife to the silver skeleton, casually tossing a [Magic Weapon] onto the knife.

Garrett closed his eyes and focused. The silver skeleton held the knife steady, making a cut. Indeed, silver skeleton

magic weapon

dwarf-made surgical knife, invincible, unbeatable. With just one cut, a 20-centiter-long incision was made right in the middle of interdiate warrior Bonk’s upper abdon.

Garrett held his breath, controlling the silver skeleton to layer the abdon open. With the belly bulging like this, it was easy to accidentally cut the organs below, requiring extra caution. As the peritoneum was cut open, four Mage Hands turned into flat hooks, gently pulling outward. The obviously dilated stomach wall imdiately bulged eagerly.

"Wow, so big..."

Seraila murmured softly. She herself flew up four Mage Hands, took over the hooking, allowing Garrett not to be distracted. Garrett carefully observed, under the shadowless light, the stomach wall was almost a purplish-black color, unsure whether it was stretched to ischemia or so thin that the color of the stomach contents itself was visible.

Good thing the surgery was quick, otherwise...

He sighed, controlling the silver skeleton to make a 2-centiter incision on the stomach wall, and the vines imdiately probed inside. This ti, no need to suck much, the hollow vine’s airflow hissed out, and soon, dark red gastric juice and food remnants surged out as well.

"Get a basin to catch this!" Garrett shouted. He cut off controlling the skeleton himself, threw a wind magic at the vine’s opening. A funnel-shaped whirlwind spun rapidly, creating a suction, propelling the

stomach contents forward.

Suction!

Suction!

Suction!

Garrett carefully controlled the power of the suction. Not too slow, as the patient’s stomach pressure was so high, a bit slower, and more stomach contents would flow out from the perforation; not too fast either, as rapid decompression could lead to heart, lung, and blood pressure issues. This was the sa principle as not draining too much ascites or catheterizing too much at once.

As for the things pulled out of the vines falling into the floating disc, emitting a foul, sour stench, Garrett had long lost interest in noticing these.

Controlling the vines, controlling the whirlwind, occasionally throwing a blood oxygen check or an EKG to see the heart rate. Dense sweat soon seeped from his forehead.

Finally, Bonk’s highly distended belly visibly deflated. And in the floating disc, there was a thick basin of stomach contents, visually at least 4000 milliliters.

Garrett breathed a sigh of relief, freeing a Mage Hand to wipe his sweat. Just then, Elder Brock asked:

"Is it done?"

"Done?" Garrett smiled wryly:

"We’re just getting started!"
