Lin Wan did not co back to her senses and didn’t manage to escape from Li Muyang’s grasp. His hands restrained her arms.

“Wanwan, you’re mine, mine,” Li Muyang said tremblingly. His entire face leaned forward, wanting to kiss Lin Wan.

“Go away, go away!” Lin Wan resisted strongly and turned her head away, not letting Li Muyang get close to her.

Xiao Yichen, standing at the door, saw his nephew’s impulsiveness and imdiately strode out, staring at him with hatred.

Li Muyang had always wanted to kiss Lin Wan and did not notice soone approaching. Only when his arm was pulled away by a strong force that Li Muyang see his uncle’s angry face.

Xiao Yichen pushed Li Muyang aside and pulled Lin Wan into his arms.

Lin Wan slled a familiar scent. She wanted to resist but suddenly stopped and obediently stayed in his strong and warm embrace.

She was very familiar with the embrace. The embrace he gave her was not only warm but also safe.

Li Muyang stood not far away, not daring to co forward.

He did not expect his uncle to appear suddenly. His uncle had taught him a lesson a few tis before, and he still rembered the outco.

“Get lost…” Xiao Yichen told to his nephew and glanced at him.

Li Muyang stood rooted to the ground in a daze. He wanted to retort and say a few more words to Wanwan, but he tactfully left dejectedly when he saw his uncle’s murderous expression.

After Li Muyang left, the living room returned to silence. Lin Wan’s emotions also returned to normal.

Lin Wan struggled to break free from Xiao Yichen’s embrace. Without saying a word, she walked towards the stairs and went upstairs.

Xiao Yichen stood and looked at Lin Wan’s back with mixed feelings.

What she said to her nephew just now, she said that she loved him. Her words made her heart unprecedentedly ssy.

Wan’er, do you have a place for in your heart?

Twenty minutes later, Lin Wan went downstairs to eat in her ho clothes.

During the al, Xiao Yichen looked at Lin Wan. Seeing that she did not intend to speak, he thought about it and said nothing.

After dinner, Xiao Yichen and Lin Wan walked out of the dining room together. Xiao Yichen suddenly pulled Lin Wan’s hand and said gently, “Let’s go watch TV, okay?”

“No, I’m very tired. I’ll go and rest first.” Lin Wan coldly shook off Xiao Yichen’s hand and walked straight upstairs.

“…” Xiao Yichen looked at Lin Wan’s back in surprise.

Was she angry?

Was she angry because of his nephew’s pestering? Or was it because of… today’s news?

In the end, Xiao Yichen did not go to the living room to watch television and went upstairs to rest.

After Lin Wan ca out of the shower, she saw Xiao Yichen sitting on the bed reading a financial magazine. Lin Wan did not say anything and walked to the bed. Then, she lay on the bed with her back facing Xiao Yichen. She closed her eyes and prepared to sleep.

However, in less than a minute, Lin Wan felt a large hand on her shoulder turn her body around.

“Wan’er…” Xiao Yichen knew that Lin Wan was in a bad mood. He called her gently, looked at her, and pulled her into his arms.

Lin Wan opened her eyes and looked at Xiao Yichen’s handso face up close. Her heart palpitated.

There wasn’t anyone who didn’t like his face. There had been so many nights when they’d been together that she’d fallen in love with him as she gradually beca familiar with his body, but…

She knew very well that they were the only couple in the na. They were just bed partners. All of this had nothing to do with love.

He could be her husband and take whatever he wanted from her in bed, but he could also love other won, such as Xue Jiaying.

“Chen,” Lin Wan tried to act like a spoiled child and said, “I’m really tired.. Can we sleep?”
