After confirming that Lin Wan wasn’t running a fever, Xiao Yichen felt less worried. He then asked, “Then why aren’t you eating?”
He expressed concern upon observing that she had been staring at him and not touching her food.
“Maybe it’s because I woke up too early, so I don’t have an appetite now,” Lin Wan explained, trying to divert his attention. Fearing that Xiao Yichen might notice sothing, she added, “I’ll eat at 10.00 am later. Auntie Li is coming to the villa at ten to prepare lunch. I’ll ask her to make so simple food for then.”
After hearing her explanation, Xiao Yichen was relieved and no longer anxious.
After breakfast, Lin Wan accompanied Xiao Yichen to the car in the courtyard. As Xiao Yichen was about to get into the car, Lin Wan suddenly had an impulse and walked forward to hug him from behind.
“Chen, I miss you,” Lin Wan whispered. Tears had welled up in her eyes, but she endeavored to control them.

Lin Wan knew that letting go was equivalent to letting go completely.
