Xu Yanxi was well aware of Xiao Yichen’s influence in the city. Before coming, she had weighed the pros and cons. Her intention was solely to target Lin Wan and not negatively impact Yichen, so she refrained from ntioning Yichen’s na.

“Lin Wan is a disgrace.”

“Do you know how shaless she is? She got into bed with my fiance while I was overseas.”

“This audacious woman. On the surface, she appears respectable, but behind her back, she’s involved with countless n. Her personal life is a ss.”

When the administrative departnt mbers overheard this unfamiliar woman’s words, they began to murmur and discuss Lin Wan.

However, the administrative departnt director received an unexpected call, informing him that Mr. Luo from the headquarters was on his way to inspect the operations at Dream Phil Company.

“Alright, everyone, back to work. No more chit-chat,” the director instructed, dispersing the employees who had gathered in small groups.

Upon seeing that everyone in the administrative departnt had resud their duties, Xu Yanxi decided to head to the design departnt.

Along her way, Xu Yanxi continued to insult Lin Wan as she went. Whenever she encountered colleagues from Dream Phil Company, she made derogatory comnts about Lin Wan.

When she reached the entrance to the design departnt, Xu Yanxi’s arrogance escalated. Upon entering the departnt, she imdiately called, “Lin Wan, where are you?”

Several designers focused on their work in the previously tranquil design departnt. The sudden arrival of an agitated individual shattered their concentration.

Lin Wan was bewildered as well. When she turned to look at the door, she saw Xu Yanxi.

Xu Yanxi also noticed Lin Wan and hastily moved in her direction.

The others in the office were unsure of the situation and could only watch curiously, eager to understand what was happening.

Xu Yanxi approached Lin Wan and glared at her.

“Why are you looking for ?” Xu Yanxi had previously interacted with Lin Wan briefly, so she wasn’t afraid of her.

Upon hearing Lin Wan’s firm tone, Xu Yanxi’s anger contorted her expression. She yelled at Lin Wan, “What? You’re still this arrogant after becoming a howrecker?”

“Is it any of your business whether I’m arrogant or not?” Lin Wan retorted, eting Xu Yanxi’s gaze.

Upon seeing Lin Wan’s defiant attitude, Xu Yanxi felt a slight boost in her confidence. Nevertheless, she couldn’t afford to appear weak since everyone was watching her. She declared, “Of course, it’s my business. You stole my fiance. Today, I’ll settle the matter with you.”

“Your fiance?” Lin Wan echoed. A cold smirk crossed her face as she continued, “There are only two reasons soone can be taken away from you…”

Xu Yanxi stared at Lin Wan, waiting for her to continue.

“First, your fiance doesn’t love you enough,” Lin Wan enunciated. “Second, your allure… is insufficient.”

“You…” Xu Yanxi’s expression turned extrely fierce, and she struggled to find a response. She glanced around again. All eyes were on her.

No, I can’t make a fool of myself. I won’t humiliate myself. I’m the mayor’s daughter. I’m a dignified princess!

“Lin Wan, to a certain extent, you truly are despicable.” Xu Yanxi ground out through clenched teeth.

Lin Wan observed Xu Yanxi’s expression. While it did appear nacing, Lin Wan didn’t want to appear vulnerable after the previous encounter, knowing that showing weakness would only lead to harm.
