Chapter 253 – No!
After so ti, the entire process was completed—Haruhi was no longer a mber of the Ishtar Familia. In the original story, it wasn't that simple, but things beca much easier after I conquered Ishtar.
I walked up to Haruhi and took her hand.
"Don't be scared, I want to test sothing." There was one thing I'd never tried since my teleportation skill leveled up—teleporting with soone else.
If it works, it'll be really useful.
"What do you an by that?" Haruhi asked.
I gently squeezed her hand and activated my teleportation ability. I pictured the area just outside the Ishtar Familia's residence in my mind. I could have gone sowhere farther, but this was just a test.
After I teleported, I could still feel Haruhi's hand.
I turned to the side and saw her frozen, eyes wide open. "What was that? What just happened?"
"It's an ability I have."
Haruhi looked back and saw the Ishtar Familia's house.
"But how is that even possible?"
"Don't ask hard questions," I said with a laugh, still holding her hand as I started walking. Haruhi walked beside
silently, and the people nearby were staring at us.
She seed pretty uncomfortable with the attention.
"Do you want
to hurry so we can get out of here?"
"No, it's fine."
She clearly wasn't eager to experience teleportation again. Did it make her feel sick? For , teleportation has always felt natural—it never bothered
at all.
We kept walking for a few more minutes until Haruhi let go of my hand.
"Why do you want
in the Hestia Familia? Is it because of my race?"
"Don't say sothing so ridiculous. I already told you, didn't I? I'm doing this because I like you."
"That's a little hard to believe."
"Believe what you want. But I'll promise you one thing—I'm not bringing you in to take advantage of you. I'm sure you'll really like our Familia."

"Here, give
your hand."
"No! You're going to do that thing again."
"Even though we've left the entertainnt district, it's still dangerous. Co on, hold my hand."
Haruhi looked at my hand and I smiled. Then, she took it.
"Sorry, but I'm not in the mood to walk all the way there." She tried to let go, but it was too late. We teleported right near the mansion.
Haruhi let go of my hand and looked at , visibly annoyed.
"Sorry, okay?"
"..." She didn't say anything and looked away.
"Co on. You don't need to hold my hand now. My ho's just up ahead."
Haruhi followed , and we finally arrived at the Hestia Familia mansion.
It was already night.
'I wonder if they're having dinner.' I had told them I might bring a woman with , but I was still feeling nervous... What would Hestia and the others say? I just hoped they wouldn't say anything unnecessary.
I opened the gate and Haruhi entered. She looked around, clearly impressed by how beautiful the place was.
"The garden is beautiful… It's nothing like Ishtar's house," Haruhi said.
"I need to take better care of the lawn. It used to look even nicer."
"Nicer than this? Wow."
Haruhi followed
to the front door and I opened it. As soon as I did, I heard Hestia's footsteps. I can recognize her just by the way she walks—and her unique presence, of course.
"Luan!!!" she shouted my na and jumped on . She hadn't noticed Haruhi yet.
I caught her in my arms and hugged her.
Then, she looked over my shoulder—and her eyes probably t Haruhi's.
"Waaah! Who's that?" Hestia gave
a few light slaps and I let her go. She hid behind
and pointed at Haruhi. "Who is she?"
"I told you, didn't I? That I might show up with soone. Her na is Haruhi. She's going to be a mber of the Hestia Familia from now on."
"No. I don't accept this." Hestia said, glaring at Haruhi with disdain.
Then she looked at .
"Luan, what do you think you're doing?" She grabbed my hand and pulled
away. "You, stay right there!" she shouted, and Haruhi froze outside the mansion.
Hestia dragged
away from the entrance and started bombarding
with questions.
I answered all of them honestly—no lies.
Once Hestia understood the situation, she finally cald down.
"So that girl was basically being forced into prostitution?"
"Yeah, more or less."
"Ishtar… That damn bitch. Still, why'd you suddenly bring her here? You could've handed her off to another Familia!"
"I don't have ties with any other Familia besides the Loki Familia. And I don't want to leave her there."
"Tsk! You just want her here because she's pretty and used to be a prostitute. Are you sure you haven't already slept with her?"
"Yes, I'm sure."
"It's honestly surprising you're telling the truth."
"There's plenty of space in this mansion, Goddess. It's fine."
"So you haven't slept with her yet, but do you plan to?"

"I'm not in the mood for that right now…"
Hestia stepped away and walked over to Haruhi.
