Chapter 249: Chapter 248 - Letter from a fan?

"I don’t want to talk to her," I said as I stored my sword in my inventory. I walked toward Ottar, and he remained still. He didn’t feel threatened because he’s certain he could kill
easily.
At least, that’s what he thinks.
I can sense his power. He’s incredibly strong. However, I’m confident I can handle him if he decides to attack.
"You’d better do it," Ottar said as I passed by him to leave. I stopped and sighed.
"If I don’t go, she’ll reveal my secret? Is that it? I already told her I don’t care about that."
"She said she just wants to talk to you about sothing important. That’s all."
"And if I refuse to go?"
"There’s nothing I can do about that," Ottar said, staring at . I thought he hadn’t noticed how strong I’ve beco, but he did. "I only ca here to deliver the ssage. I’ll be going now."
"You ca all the way down here just to tell
Freya wants to talk to ? Don’t you have anything better to do?"
"..."
"Huff~~" I let out a sigh and looked Ottar straight in the eyes. Then, I activated the skill ’Bloodlust.’
Since the skill is at level 10, it even affected Ottar. His forehead wrinkled, and he grew visibly irritated. I smiled at him and said, "Tell Freya I’ll think about whether I’ll go or not. And tell her not to send anyone after , or I’ll get really pissed off."
I kept ’Bloodlust’ active.
Ottar didn’t say another word. He walked past
and disappeared.
I didn’t expect Ottar to co after . Fortunately, I’ve raised my status. If I hadn’t, I would’ve had to rely on my skills just to escape.
But it’s great to get a sense of how strong I am right now.
I’m strong enough to intimidate Ottar.

I guess I’ll focus on that for now. I’ll worry about the power generator and other things later.

Ottar disappeared, and I quickly left the dungeon as well. As soon as I got outside, I was surprised—it was nightti. That ant I had spent the entire day inside the dungeon. And it’s late.
It must be close to 1 AM.
I ignored the drunken stares from people on the street and used my teleportation skill to warp close to the mansion. Now that the skill had leveled up a lot, I could teleport over long distances.
I teleported practically right next to the mansion.
I pulled the gate keys from my inventory and entered. When I walked in, I found an envelope on the floor. Thinking it was just another fan letter, I stored it in my inventory to read later.
When I opened the mansion’s front door, everything was quiet. No one was downstairs.
I thought about cooking sothing since I was starving, but I rembered how dirty I was. I was covered in blood. I quickly ran upstairs to my room, and when I opened the door...
I found Hestia lying on my bed. She was asleep.
I approached the bed but didn’t touch her. I was too filthy.
I went to the bathroom and took a hot shower.
When I left the bathroom, I noticed Hestia was awake. Our eyes t while I was getting dressed. But she stayed silent and didn’t ask any questions.
But since I could tell she was upset, I said, "I was in the dungeon. I’m sorry."
"It’s fine."
"It doesn’t seem fine. You’re angry."
"I’m not angry. It’s not like you left in the middle of the night without telling anyone where you were going and disappeared for an entire day."
"I had to. I wasn’t sleepy, and my body was full of energy. I needed to burn it off sohow."
"You could have co to my room to burn off that energy," Hestia said, her cheeks turning red.
"Pffft!"
"What? Don’t laugh! I’m being serious."
"Alright, alright. Go back to sleep now. I’m going downstairs to make sothing to eat."
"I’ll co with you. I didn’t have dinner tonight, so I’m hungry."
"Why didn’t you eat?"
"Because I was worried about you..."

I woke up the next morning next to Hestia.
The night before, we had sex, but only once. It was enough to wear
out after everything I had done for hours in the dungeon. Not physically, but ntally. Hestia seed satisfied, so that’s good.
I got up, leaving her still in bed.
I washed my face and went downstairs to prepare breakfast.
"It’s pretty early."
No one else was awake yet.
I made breakfast for everyone and started setting the table. While I was doing that, I rembered the envelope I had found last night. I’ve received lots of fan letters, and I’m always curious to read them.
So before going upstairs to wake the three girls for breakfast, I pulled the envelope from my inventory.
I opened it. Inside was a single letter.
Just a few words, no signature.
The letter said that Haruhi was in danger and that the Freya Familia was sohow involved.
After finishing reading, I crumpled the paper and stored it back in my inventory.
Without giving it much more thought, I went upstairs and called everyone down for breakfast.
