Chapter 192 – God Soma
I remained calm because I knew I could handle these guys easily. They were, at most, Level Two. My stats are incredibly high.
"I'm the main mber of the Hestia Familia. Or maybe I'm the captain? I'm not really sure what I am exactly."
"And what's your relationship with Liliruca?"
"She's my lover."
"Huh?" Zanis couldn't believe what he'd just heard. "Your lover? Are you ssing with ?"
"Of course not. Liliruca is my woman, and I want to remove her from the Soma Familia to bring her into the Hestia Familia. Isn't it simple? I'm not looking for trouble—just making a request."
Zanis stared at
for a few seconds. "Pfft!" Then he started laughing. "Hahahahaha. Did you hear that? This guy said that filthy thing is his woman. He really thinks he can take her out of this Familia."
Watching Zanis' face twist as he laughed and hearing his words made
want to punch him. But I held myself back.
"If you say sothing like that about Liliruca again, I'll kill you," I said calmly, smiling at Zanis. He realized I wasn't joking, stopped laughing, and took a few steps back.
I guess my killing intent was too strong.
The two guards standing by his side stepped forward, drawing their swords.
"I already said I don't want to cause trouble. I just want to talk to God Soma. I'm sure he'll accept my request."
"Kill him!" Zanis wasn't willing to listen anymore.
He ordered his n to attack , and they charged simultaneously. But their movents were too slow. I easily dodged their swords, grabbed their heads, and slamd them into the ground.
I hit hard enough to knock them unconscious but not to kill them.
As the two n passed out, I looked back at Zanis, who gritted his teeth nervously.
"Help! We've got an intruder!" he yelled as he entered the house.
"Damn it, you idiot. You've made this more annoying than it needed to be."
I chased after Zanis and caught up to him in an instant. I kicked his legs, breaking one of them, and he collapsed to the floor.
"Arghhh!!!" Zanis scread in pain. "You bastard, I'll kill you! Soone, help!"
"You're annoying. When you wake up, you won't have any control over this Familia anymore. Get ready to spend the rest of your life behind bars."
"YOU SON OF A—!"
I punched Zanis.
His glasses shattered, and his teeth flew out of his mouth. His head hit the floor, leaving a gash that started to bleed.
"Oops, did I kill him?" I mocked. Then I heard slow footsteps approaching. The presence was faint, but I could tell it belonged to soone powerful.
"God Soma, it's a pleasure to et you," I said, raising my head to look him in the eye.
But our eyes didn't et; his black hair covered them.
"Who are you?" Soma asked in a calm voice.
"My na is Luan. I'm a mber of the Hestia Familia. Sorry for the ss—I didn't an to cause all this trouble."
"..."
"I ca here to talk about Liliruca, not to fight. But that idiot made a big scene for no reason."
"..." Soma glanced at Zanis, bleeding and toothless. "You nearly killed him."
"My apologies for that."
"Follow ."
"What?"
"You wanted to talk, didn't you? Then follow ."

I followed God Soma without worrying that he might try sothing suspicious. We entered a dimly lit room with curtains covering the windows. It was a eting room with a large table and a bookshelf.
On the shelf, I noticed several bottles of alcohol.
"You said your na is Luan, correct?"
"That's right. I'm a mber of the Hestia Familia."
"And you're here to talk about Liliruca..."
"Exactly. I'll be direct—I want Liliruca to leave the Soma Familia and join the Hestia Familia."
"..." Soma stared at
silently for a few seconds, then walked over to the shelf of bottles. He grabbed one and two glasses, placing them on the table before filling them.
It was wine.
"Drink," Soma said.
I took one of the glasses and, without hesitation, drank it all in one go. Unlike what Soma might have expected, I felt nothing. I was familiar with this wine, but it wouldn't affect .
I have the system, after all.
Plus, I have the Abnormal Resistance skill. I'm not sure if it applies here, but I felt nothing.
When I drank the wine like it was water, Soma seed surprised. Then he poured
another glass. I drank it, and he poured another. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"This wine is delicious, but I'm not going to get addicted to it," I said mockingly. "So, can we talk about Liliruca now? I can also tell you what Zanis has been up to—you should keep an eye on him."
"You're the first person I've t who can drink my wine so casually, as if it's nothing. You really don't feel anything?"
"It's good wine, but nothing extraordinary."
"..." Soma's lips curled into a smile. "Very well. You wanted to talk about Liliruca, right? It's been a while since I've seen her… How is she?"
"Lili's doing great. Happier than ever. I want you to release her from your Familia so she can join the Hestia Familia. I want to take care of her."
"I see… You care about her deeply."
"Of course I do. So, what do you say?"
