Ignoring the onlookers, Wanda Quincy strode forward with a cold smile. "Run. Why aren’t you running anymore?"

"Don’t you push it too far!" Vivian Quincy said sharply, her stubborn chin lifted as she glared at her.

Wanda Quincy burst into laughter. Her exquisitely painted red lips curved into a vicious smile, her eyes glinting with malice as she raised her voice. "Everyone, co take a look! This mistress has the nerve to act innocent after seducing another woman’s fiancé! Co on, everyone, be the judge!"

Her shout drew a crowd. Since they were near the Imperium Group’s headquarters, many of the onlookers were employees getting off work. They all recognized Wanda Quincy; after all, she had appeared in news reports alongside Jasper Ford. But as for this Vivian Quincy, most of them had no idea who she was.

They had been wondering why Wanda Quincy, the future Young Madam of the esteed Imperium Group, would resort to bullying soone in public. It turned out soone had seduced her fiancé.

The crowd imdiately started sneering at Vivian Quincy. "So she’s a mistress. Does this girl have a death wish?"

"I was going to help her when I saw she was being bullied, but if she’s a mistress, then forget it."

"She did sothing despicable, so it serves her right that the fiancée ca after her."

The onlookers chid in one after another, but no one stepped forward to help. They just stood by and watched in silence.

Wanda Quincy, now in complete control of the situation, was very pleased. She loved having people point their fingers at Vivian Quincy, making sure everyone knew she was a shaless mistress. And now, she had achieved her goal.

In this day and age, no one sympathized with a mistress, especially not other won.

Just then, a car pulled over, and a few n got out.

"President Quincy, what might you be doing?" Jeremy King strode over and asked politely.

Wanda Quincy hadn’t expected to see Jeremy King here. She raised an eyebrow. "Is there sothing you need, President King?"

"Not at all. I was just surprised to see a boss like yourself picking on a young woman in the street." Jeremy King chuckled, his greasy face turning to glance thoughtfully at Vivian Quincy. He smiled. "This girl... she’s quite a looker."

Although Wanda Quincy was working with Jeremy King, she actually looked down on him. Her lips curled into a sneer. "Since you like her so much, President King, why don’t I just give her to you?"

"Oh, I couldn’t possibly. This young lady is her own person; she’s not soone you can just give away," Jeremy King laughed heartily.

Wanda Quincy scoffed. "You’re right, President King. She has her own two feet, but instead of working a proper job, she runs around being a mistress. It’s disgusting."

Having achieved her goal and vented her anger, Wanda Quincy exchanged a few more words with Jeremy King and left.

Vivian Quincy’s face was pale, and she clenched her fists in anger.

Jeremy King sized her up thoughtfully. "Why don’t you co sit in my car?"

Vivian Quincy pressed her lips together and said nothing.

Jeremy King said, "Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you. I just feel sorry for you and want to have a proper chat. With so many people watching, do you really want to be gawked at like a monkey in a zoo?"

The young woman glanced around. Sure enough, there were a lot of people.

She braced herself and got into Jeremy King’s car. As soon as she did, he spoke. "It seems things aren’t going well for you at Imperium Group. Have you considered my previous offer?"

Vivian Quincy replied, "What you want is too confidential. I can’t get it."

"Then go back to Jasper Ford’s side. Go back to being his assistant and monitor his every move for . Don’t worry, I’ll make it worth your while," Jeremy King said, reaching out to pat the young woman’s thigh.

Vivian Quincy recoiled in disgust.

Jeremy King withdrew his hand and continued, "I know Wanda Quincy pretty well. I’ve seen the fates of a few people who have crossed her. So went mad, so were driven out of Crestfall forever, and others simply disappeared without a trace. A woman like that has her sights on you now. Without a powerful shield to protect you, you know very well what will happen."

"So, your only way out is to work with . I’ll help you deal with Wanda Quincy, and you help deal with Jasper Ford. How about it?"

Vivian Quincy bit her lip, not answering. She was extrely conflicted. ’I really don’t like Jasper Ford or Wanda Quincy, but I don’t like Jeremy King either. I don’t want to have anything to do with any of them.’

"Let think about it." ’I’d better not offend Jasper Ford.’ After weighing her options, Vivian Quincy could only put Jeremy King off for now before getting out of the car.

Jeremy King didn’t stop her, just smiled and told his driver to go.

Vivian Quincy was left all alone. She suddenly felt exhausted and just wanted to find sowhere comfortable to lie down and sleep. But then she rembered Beanie was still with Anna. Worried, Vivian headed to Anna’s company.

Anna was already off work, but Zachary Thornton was still busy and had ordered her to wait for him at the office.

When Vivian Quincy arrived at the office, she found Anna and Beanie, one big and one small, sitting on the sofa munching on potato chips. Anna was laughing uproariously, and her praise could be heard from a distance. "That was amazing, Beanie! You’re the best! I can just picture Wanda Quincy’s stunned face when she got hit. It was so satisfying! And that Madam Ford is really sothing else. I thought soone from a prestigious family like hers would be a dignified, elegant lady, but I never expected her to be so ruthless!"

"Miss Ford has always been this assertive," Beanie nodded.

Anna said, "Looks like it might actually be possible to finish off Wanda Quincy. Go on, sweetheart, go stir up so more trouble!"

"Let’s take a break for now," Beanie mumbled with a pout. Just then, he spotted Vivian Quincy walking out of the elevator and shouted happily, "Mommy!"

Hearing his voice, Anna turned around, surprised. "How co you’re off work so early today?"

"I didn’t have to work overti," Vivian Quincy said as she walked in. "Did Wanda Quincy cause trouble for you guys today?"

"Yeah, how did you know? Don’t tell she went looking for you? What happened to your face?" Anna noticed the clear marks of an injury on Vivian Quincy’s cheek and couldn’t help but ask.

Vivian Quincy touched her face. "Is there? I didn’t see anything."

"It’s so obvious, don’t you feel any pain? Wanda Quincy did this, didn’t she? That’s going too far!" Anna cursed angrily, but she was powerless against Wanda Quincy. She suddenly rembered what she’d asked Zachary Thornton to investigate. "Oh, right, Vivian, there’s sothing I need to tell you. I got a result on that Room 797 you asked to look into."

"Really?" Vivian Quincy’s heart leaped with joy. This was an unexpected surprise. She asked happily, "Who was it?"

"Don’t get too excited. We could only find guests who stayed in that room within the last three years. Anything from six years ago is untraceable." Anna bluntly burst her bubble. She continued, "The St. Declan Hotel is a property of the Ford Family. Room 797 is a presidential suite, and for the past three years, Jasper Ford has been the one staying there. As for who was in it six years ago, I couldn’t find any accurate information on my end. So, I was thinking, maybe Jasper Ford has so kind of special attachnt to this room, and that’s why he reserved it for his own exclusive use."

Vivian Quincy understood her implication and frowned. "That seems unlikely, doesn’t it? I’ve been working at Imperium Group for a while now. Jasper Ford doesn’t seem like the type to fool around with strangers. The female employees at our company automatically stand several feet away from him, otherwise he gets angry."
