The man’s undisguised mockery and disdain made Vivian Quincy uncomfortable. Her hands at her sides clenched into fists. She had a temper, and being repeatedly humiliated was making her furious. But when she thought of her precious Beanie still living at Jasper Ford’s house, Vivian forced herself to endure it.

She hadn’t seen Beanie in many days. Although he always said he was doing fine during their video calls, what kind of mother would feel at ease with her child living in a stranger’s house?

So, even when Jasper Ford humiliated her to her face, Vivian endured it. She asked, "Does your house only have one bed, Mr. President?"

"Oh? And how many would you like?" the man’s deep voice was smooth and pleasant, dangerously seductive.

Vivian Quincy lifted her face, her eyes twinkling. "Are there? If not, I can make do with the sofa."

’Jasper Ford was sure this woman was hitting on him.’

He snorted coldly and walked to the car, giving the door an indifferent glance.

Realizing what he ant, Vivian Quincy rushed over to open the car door for him. "After you, Mr. President," she said deferentially.

’Jasper Ford hadn’t rejected her outright, which ant there was hope!’

Vivian Quincy didn’t say a word the entire way, focusing intently on driving. Her large, beautiful eyes, dark as black grapes, shimred brightly. The more Jasper Ford watched her, the more scheming her smile seed. He had a nagging feeling this woman was up to sothing, but he couldn’t for the life of him figure out what.

The butler saw Jasper Ford’s car approaching and hurried out to greet him. He was about to offer to park the car after Jasper got out when he noticed, to his surprise, a woman in the driver’s seat. The butler was stunned. For years, the Young Master had surrounded himself only with male staff, even his assistants. He had never seen a woman in the Young Master’s car before!

’And on closer inspection, she was quite beautiful!’

’The Young Master has finally done sothing right for once! The Old Madam will be thrilled when she finds out!’

"Young Master, and this young lady is...?" the butler asked, his kind face breaking into a pleased smile.

Jasper Ford replied bluntly with a single word: "The driver."

The butler chuckled. "But Young Master, you’ve never hired a female driver before. I suppose you’re feeling the pressure from the Old Madam’s recent nagging. But you don’t have to worry. Beanie has been sick lately, so the Old Madam is too busy taking care of him to pester you about getting married."

Vivian Quincy, who had just finished parking the car, overheard the butler. She strode over quickly. "Who’s sick?"

Her expression was strange, and she spoke quickly. She seed... very anxious!

Jasper Ford shot Vivian Quincy a cold glance. "You should be leaving now."

Vivian Quincy snapped back to reality, looking displeased. "It’s already dark out, and your house is so remote. It’s not safe for to go back alone."

Displeasure crossed Jasper Ford’s face.

The butler, a master at reading people, could tell at a glance that there was sothing unusual about their relationship. He quickly chid in, "She’s right. It’s certainly not safe to be out on the roads this late at night. Young Master, why not let her stay over?"

"Who asked you to butt in?" Jasper Ford’s eyes narrowed dangerously. His voice was so cold and hard it could freeze a man to death.

Terrified, the butler didn’t dare say another word and silently retreated to the side.

Jasper Ford entered the Ford family ho, and Vivian Quincy couldn’t stop herself from following. She had clearly heard the butler say that Beanie was sick. As a mother, her greatest fears were her son getting hurt or falling ill. In the past, whenever Beanie was sick, she was always by his side. But now...

Vivian Quincy was so worried that she hurried to keep up, afraid of being left behind.

Jasper Ford saw the worry etched on her face but said nothing.

When the maids saw Jasper Ford had returned, four or five of them imdiately surrounded him. They helped him off with his coat, brought him his slippers, and handed him a towel. They even wiped the shoes he had just taken off until they were spotless.

Vivian Quincy had never seen such an extravagant display and couldn’t help but stare at Jasper Ford. ’It must be nice to be rich,’ she thought. ’Coming ho to so many maids waiting on you hand and foot!’

Not only that, but each of the maids seed younger and more beautiful than the last. After taking Jasper Ford’s coat, one asked considerately, "Young Master, dinner is ready. Shall we serve it now?"

"No need," Jasper Ford replied with two disgusted words, tossing aside the towel a maid had offered him.

Following behind, Vivian Quincy couldn’t help but glance at the discarded towel, then at the maid who was kneeling on the floor to help Jasper Ford with his slippers. She noticed that all the maids were wearing disposable gloves, and that Jasper Ford had thrown away everything a maid had directly touched.

’It seems Jasper Ford doesn’t just hate ,’ she realized. ’He hates all won!’

’Thinking about it that way, Vivian Quincy suddenly found herself a little impressed with Wanda Quincy. It must take so serious skill to ta such an eccentric man.’

"Um, so... where will I be staying?"

Jasper Ford seed to have no intention of acknowledging her, heading straight upstairs after entering the house. Tailing behind him, Vivian Quincy couldn’t help but ask.

Jasper Ford looked down on her from the top of the stairs and coldly tossed out two words: "Co up."

After changing into a pair of slippers, an overjoyed Vivian Quincy hurried after him. She followed Jasper Ford down the hall to a large bedroom at the very end. It was spotless, but the cool-toned decor made the room feel as cold and cheerless as Jasper Ford himself.

Vivian Quincy didn’t see Beanie as she’d hoped and, disappointed, was about to look for him elsewhere when Jasper Ford shut the door. With a swift, clean motion, his fair, slender hand turned the lock.

This small action left Vivian Quincy completely stunned. She blinked, looking up at Jasper Ford, who had sohow cornered her against the door. Swallowing hard, she stamred, "This is... the room you prepared for ?"

"Mm," the man humd, his wickedly charming voice almost unfairly pleasant to the ear.

Vivian Quincy pointed a finger at him. "Then... shouldn’t you be leaving?"

"This room is for you, but it’s also my bedroom," Jasper Ford replied, his expression unchanging. His alluring, thin lips curved into a bewitching smile. "Now, do you still want to borrow my bed?"

His warm breath washed over her, making her heart pound wildly as an unnatural blush crept up her cheeks. Her voice trembled with fear. "I-I don’t think that’s necessary... D-Don’t you have any other rooms, Mr. President? I saw several guest rooms on my way up."

"That has nothing to do with you." The light calluses on Jasper Ford’s hands made his touch on Vivian Quincy’s cheek slightly painful. He seed to enjoy the way she scrunched up her face, and he especially loved the pleasant little whimper she made. He chuckled softly. "There are fresh towels and a bathrobe in the bathroom. Do you want to shower first, or get undressed first?"

"I..." Vivian Quincy broke out in a nervous sweat.

Jasper Ford paused, his smile growing even more wicked. "Or perhaps you’d like to go to sleep first? In that case, do you want the bed or the sofa? Or do you dislike both options? Fine. The balcony and the floor are also available. But the question is, would you dare?"

He let out a low laugh, a sound so crisp and lodious it was utterly captivating. He was the kind of man whose voice alone could make a woman lose her senses. A true devil!

His voice was hypnotic, luring Vivian Quincy in. She almost nodded in agreent, but the powerful, invasive way his hand caressed her cheek kept her frozen in place. She was terrified...
