“What are you doing here? Get to hell out now!” Zhao Erhu roared in anger. He hadn’t expected that he’d only left the house to buy so eggs, and Wei Fangcao, the shaless woman, had seized the opportunity. Seeing Lin Yue’s curious eyes, Zhao Erhu felt a little guilty. He hadn’t done anything to be ashad of, but he was afraid that Lin Yue might believe the village gossip and think there was sothing between him and Wei Fangcao.
Wei Fangcao, however, seed oblivious to Zhao Erhu’s disgust and attempts to drive her away, her tone unprecedentedly warm and full of smiles, “Brother Erhu, you’re back, I heard sister-in-law got hurt, so I ca specially to see her. Also, the kids have grown taller, haven’t seen them in such a long ti. Look, I even brought so pastries with . Oh, Zhao Erhu, what are you doing!”
Zhao Erhu was well aware of Wei Fangcao’s thick-skinned nature; talking would do no good. He didn’t bother with words, simply picked Wei Fangcao up, along with the things she had brought, and tossed them out the door, to the cheers and applause of his children.
“Zhao Erhu, you jerk, scumbag, how dare you treat like this, you ungrateful wretch! How did I treat you in the past, you heartless man!” Wei Fangcao was locked out and furiously cursed out loud.
Lin Yue watched, a bit dumbfounded, realizing that Zhao Erhu had such a cold side to him; it was indeed rare. But who exactly was this woman? From her tone, she couldn’t possibly be an old fla of Zhao Erhu’s, could she? Tsk, tsk, if that were true, it would be quite the lodrama. Lin Yue speculated in her heart as she cast a doubtful glance at Zhao Erhu.
