Chapter 340: Kill ? Go Ahead!

Avelina lifted both her hands, waving at him. "I WILL MISS YOU A LOT!"

"I WILL MISS YOU TOO!!" Draven raised his voice as high as he could. "I WILL MISS YOU VERY VERY MUCH, AVELINA!"

He lifted both his hands, waving back at her in the sa way that she was waving at him. "I will...miss you so much."

He could see her chuckle wholeheartedly as she boarded a taxi. He watched the taxi drive off, and he never stopped looking until she was completely out of sight.

Draven finally sighed deeply, his hand clutching onto his chest as though he could feel it bleeding.

She’s gone. She’s really gone. He looked at the sky, and having nothing else to do there, he turned around, passing through the barrier into his own world.

He drove off in his car and returned to the royal mansion. If anyone asked about Avelina, he would pay them no heed. As he was, he had no ti to give anyone an explanation. He was going to bring his wife back soday. Therefore, he currently has no intention of replacing her, even if it is going to be a huge risk to him getting the inheritance.

Draven got out of the car, slamming the door shut. He threw the keys into the pocket of his pants and proceeded into the royal mansion. He strolled through the general foyer to return to his quarter.

But out of nowhere, Valentine appeared, pulling him into a warm, brotherly hug. "I’ve been so worried, and I have been wanting to speak to you since this morning, but you were nowhere to be found."

"It’s such a relief! You are perfectly fine. I really thought you would have died had—"

"Valentine!!" Draven glared at him, pushing him off. "The next ti you hug , I will break you into pieces of bone!"

Valentine’s face contorted into a grimace, and he pinched between his brows, shaking his head. "Jesus, do you really hate physical touch this much?"

"Honestly, I can’t fathom how my sister-in-law puts up with you."

Draven’s expression imdiately changed, and he quickly averted his gaze.

Right there! Valentine sensed that sothing was wrong. He looked at Draven with furrowed brows.

"Draven...is sothing wrong? What is going on?" he asked.

Draven didn’t answer him. He, however, fisted his hands and began to walk away. But Valentine, who wasn’t done, gripped him by his arm, stopping him.

"Draven, where is Avelina? You left with her this morning, so...where is she? Did sothing happen to her?"

"NO!" Draven responded, annoyed.

"Then, where is she?" Valentine further questioned. "Why isn’t she back with you?"

"She is gone! Now, leave

alone, Valentine. You are getting on my nerves." Draven pushed his hand off and began to storm away to his room.

But as persistent as Valentine was, he followed after him, agitated. "Draven, what do you an by that? What do you an she’s gone?"

"She is gone, ans she is gone!" Draven bellowed at him with a heavy scowl evident on his face. "Don’t provoke . Fuck off and leave

alone!!"

He pushed open the door, stepped in, and slamd it shut in Valentine’s face.

Valentine breathed heavily, his expression filled with nothing but disbelief. He quickly turned to Santino, who seed to be in a daze at the sound of what Draven had said.

"Hey!" He gripped Santino by the collar of his shirt and looked at him with intimidating eyes. "Where the fuck is my sister-in-law? What the hell is my brother talking about?!"

"What in the world happened to Avelina?!?" His erald eyes were burning in sudden anger.

Santino slowly shook his head at him. "My apologies, your highness. But it appears that my young master has sent Lady Avelina ho." His voice was cracking, showing his remorse.

"What...the hell?" Valentine slowly let go of Santino. He took a deep breath and turned his head to the door, a sudden rage rippling within him.

Furiously, he punched the door, causing it to crack a bit. "Are you kidding , Draven?! How could you do that?!"

But no response ca from Draven.

Valentine’s body shook in uncontrollable displeasure, and unable to take it anymore, he kicked open the door, storming in before Santino could stop him.

"What is this bullshit, Draven? Why in the world would you do—"

Draven appeared before him in the blink of an eye, gripping him by the neck and slamming him into the wall. His eyes burned, and he vehently gazed at Valentine as though he could kill him with his eyes alone.

"If you utter one more word...ONE MORE WORD, Valentine—"

"What will you do?" Valentine questioned, not caring that he was in the grip of his hand where he could burst his neck if he added any more killing force. "Kill ? Go ahead."

"But I’m still going to say what I want to say. You had no reason to send her ho! She didn’t even want to go. You didn’t give her a chance either, and I didn’t even get to see her one last ti. Just why would you do that?!"

"Why?" He stared at Draven, expecting an answer from him. But Draven took a step back, releasing him.

"Get out!" Draven scowled at him, turning around and walking back to the bed to sit down.

Valentine scoffed in disbelief. "You can’t even give a reason! Pathetic! You haven’t even considered that maybe you did love her too!" He stord out of the room, slamming the door shut with a heavy bang. He was quite angry.

Santino watched his figure disappear as he walked further away. He sighed, lowering his head to look at the floor. If he’d known when his young master was sending Lady Avelina ho, perhaps he could have stopped them. Perchance, he might have been able to change his young master’s mind.

But it was all too late now.

...

Draven sat on the bed, gazing at his feet that were dropped to the marble floor. What was this overwhelming sense of sadness rippling through him?
