Chapter 181: Please Stop!

Santino was ant to visit him empty-handed.

Erawada could have taken care of him—he was her son after all, but she was prohibited from seeing him. For three years now, she has never glimpsed her son, nor has Draven seen even a reflection of her.

Erawada had only been relying on Santino, who was available to tell her about the everyday condition of his son.

"Young master, are you alright?" Santino could not hide the fact that he was holding in his tears. He tucked Draven’s hair behind his ear and helped him up into a sitting position.

"Santino..." Draven’s voice was hoarse. He had not had a sip of water or a sip of blood for three days now. He felt dry and as though he would lose his consciousness.

"Where is my mother? You said...you said she would co see

today..." His words were not quite audible, but Santino was able to catch onto them.

Santino flickered his eyes and lowered his head. "There is...sothing that I must tell you, young master."

Draven was gazing at him. His lazy eyes hung low, as though he had no life left in him.

"There is...there is sothing that I have to tell you, but I don’t know if I should," Santino said, not sure if he should go ahead.

Draven took a deep breath. "What...what is it? Is my mother not coming?"

"No." Santino shook his head.

He could imdiately see Draven lose the last spirit he held in him.

"W-why? Does she hate

too?" he asked. "But she said she loved . Why? Why can’t she co anymore? I have not seen her for three years, Santino. Only you have been coming. Just once, I want to—"

Santino pulled him into a gentle hug.

"Young master, I wish that were the case."

"Huh? W-what do you an?" Draven inquired.

Santino pulled back to stare at his face. "Your father has sold your mother to a dangerous...man. He reeked of blood, and he had taken your mother away. That is why she could not co to see you anymore. I fear for your mother’s life, young master. I do not think she is alright nor will she be."

Draven was silent.

"What?" He fluttered his weary eyes and began to breathe heavily.

"No, no, no, no." He shook his head.

Santino could imdiately see his shoulder begin to rise and fall in heavy breathing. He frowned the second Draven started to scratch his neck frantically, as though sothing had bitten him.

He furrowed his brows. "Young master, are you alright? Do you feel—"

"Leave," Draven said to him.

Santino was taken aback. "What? Why? Have I—"

"Leave Santino! I’ll hurt you!" Draven scread at him, his voice sounding otherworldly. "Leave!!"

Santino was glued to the floor. His soul had nearly fled his body. What was going on?

His young master was sounding different, as though he were another being. No, it was more as though soone else had taken over his body. His red eyes had switched to an entirely black, leaving them more eerie than his normal reddish eyes.

With another warning from Draven, who was still scratching his neck even though he had begun to bleed, he ran out of the room. The door closed behind him, and he turned around, but just then, a loud, unpleasant, ear-piercing scream resounded from Draven, startling everyone residing within the mansion.

The breaking of sothing iron was heard. Without hesitation, the guards opened the door and rushed inside.

Before their eyes, Draven stood, his head hung low and his long hair covering his face.

The weakened boy, who would not even sit up properly, was suddenly standing on his two feet. Extre dark energy was oozing from him, tugging at their weak souls.

The worst scenario right before their eyes was the chain that had been broken off. This boy was free.

Deep fear was an understatent because what these two n felt the second their eyes ca into contact with Draven’s was sothing they had never felt before in their entire lives.

They took a step back, able to hear the danger alert screaming at them, however, it appeared too late as Draven had advanced towards them, slicing their heads off with just his long, sharp nails.

They fell to their knees and plopped down to the floor, lying in their own pool of blood.

Santino, who could see what was happening from where he stood, covered his mouth, frightened.

"Y-young master?" He could not even tell if the person he was gazing at at that mont was even his young master.

Draven staggered out of the vast room, ignoring the two dead bodies. He walked past Santino as though he did not know who he was.

"Young master." Santino hurried after him, deeply worried, however, the second he touched Draven, he was sent flying onto the wall.

It looked as though his body had been taken over, and he was not aware of what he was doing. The most confusing part of it all was that he seed to be focused on going sowhere specific.

Santino struggled up to his feet and clutched his stomach. He coughed hard, spurting out a mouthful of blood.

"Young master, please wait!" He hurried after him and stood in front of him, spreading his hands out.

"Please stop! They will kill you! Please, I beg you!" Santino pleaded.

He had only just realized that Draven was heading to the middle quarter to find his father.

He had beco this crazy only after he spoke of his mother being taken away. If he lets him go, he fears what might happen.

Old Master Lenort might actually take this opportunity to finally kill him, and if that happens, he would never be able to forgive himself. He would never be able to look Erawada in the eyes—not after he agreed to keep Draven safe and make sure he does not die.

Draven stared at Santino. He was expressionless, and his dark eyes held no hint of emotion. He was like an empty, controlled vessel.
