138 Younger Sister

Yin Tao was sitting on a chair in the dormitory when she caught a glimpse of the exquisite velvet box through a gap in the drawer. She then rembered that she still had a matter to take care of.

She opened the box and saw a ruby necklace in the shape of a flower. It seed so loneso lying alone inside. Although it was glittering splendidly, Yin Tao couldn’t bring herself to like it.

“Why haven’t I returned it yet…” Yin Tao felt that the longer she kept this necklace with her, the more uncomfortable she would feel.

She took out her cell phone and found Lin Jia’s contact number. She took a deep breath and dialed it.

“Little sister Xiaotao, what’s the matter?”

Lin Jia sounded a little busy, but he was still as soft spoken as usual.

“Brother Lin Jia, are you busy?” Yin Tao didn’t know how to bring it up.

“It’s alright. Tell what you want,” Lin Jia said.

“I want to find so ti to et you…” Yin Tao hesitated again and again, but she still felt that she should return the necklace in person.

“Alright.” When Lin Jia heard that Yin Tao wanted to et him, his tone beca much lighter. “Tomorrow then. You can contact directly after you’re done with your work.”

After ending the call with Lin Jia, Yin Tao felt a little apologetic. Lin Jia was clearly busier than her, but he was always the one accommodating her.

Yin Tao didn’t dare to reciprocate Lin Jia’s feelings for her. She could tell that Lin Jia felt for her, and she was truly touched. But when she thought about becoming a couple with Lin Jia, she still felt sowhat uncomfortable in her heart.

Yin Tao felt that she was still living in a novel. Although everyone here felt real, she didn’t dare to invest too much of her feelings.

Yin Tao recalled that she transmigrated into this novel because the original Yin Tao hit her head, and she then inexplicably fell into this world.

“If I accidentally injured my head again, will I transmigrate back?” Yin Tao muttered to herself. She didn’t have the courage to try. After all, she couldn’t even be certain whether she was dead or alive in the real world.

“I think it’s better to just let nature take its course.” Yin Tao was actually very content with her current life. In the real world, she was just a junior forensic doctor that no one bothered with, and no one really cared whether she was dead or alive.

Yin Tao didn’t want to be too involved with the characters in the novel. She planned to make herself clear when she t Lin Jia the next day, so as to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

Just as she was about to take a shower and have an early night, the phone on the table rang again. When Yin Tao saw the caller ID, she frowned in surprise.

“Zhang Rui?” Yin Tao didn’t know why Zhang Rui took the initiative to contact her, but she answered the call anyway.

“Little sister, are you busy?”

Zhang Rui’s overly intimate address made Yin Tao a little uncomfortable. After a brief pause, she asked, “I’m not busy. Why are you looking for ?”

“Um, is Yin Hao your brother?”

What Zhang Rui said made Yin Tao vigilant. “What do you want?”

“Don’t be so sensitive. I just want to get to know your brother.”

Hearing what Zhang Rui said, Yin Tao beca even more agitated as she replied, “Cut that out, you must be targeting my brother now.”

Zhang Rui’s crisp laughter rang on the other end. Yin Tao wished she could drag her out of the phone and teach her a lesson, so as to get her to dispel all thoughts on Yin Hao.

“I just felt that we get along well. We’ve only known each other for a few days, but you already know so well.” Zhang Rui was not embarrassed at all that she had been seen through. Instead, she continued cheerfully and said, “Sister, your brother is completely my type. You didn’t introduce him to at the banquet last ti. What kind of a friend are you.”

Yin Tao helplessly rolled her eyes as she said clearly, word by word, “Big Sis, you clearly love every person you see, alright? My brother is a decent person, so don’t you have any ideas about him.”

Hearing Yin Tao’s words, Zhang Rui’s interest in Yin Hao intensified. “I clearly only like handso n, but I’m actually a decent person. You are very wrong about .”

When Zhang Rui saw that Yin Tao still refused to give in, she said sowhat angrily, “I can only think of a way to ask him personally if you are really not going to tell .”

“I can give you my brother’s contact information, but don’t have high hopes. You are not my brother’s type.” Yin Tao really didn’t know what to do with Zhang Rui. Afraid that she would do sothing out of line again, she decided to give her Yin Hao’s number. She would find an opportunity to caution her brother separately.

“Then tell what is his type, co one, give so tips.”
