The volleyball ga on the side of the female guests was exceptionally lively, but before the start, the show producer specially called her over, whispering a reminder to be careful, clearly worried that she might get hurt from such a simple sport.
If anything were to happen to the baby inside her, the whole team might as well kiss their heads goodbye, not to ntion hoping for the smooth broadcast of the show.
Shi Su chuckled, raised her hand to make an OK gesture, and entered the court.
The ga progressed more intensely than Shi Su anticipated. Initially, the female guests just planned to warm up a bit, but unexpectedly, they started having quite a lot of fun.
Shi Su quickly got into the groove, and after hitting several balls consecutively, she backed up a bit, trying to give more screen ti to the other team mbers.
Zhang Kerong tried to seize the opportunity to catch the ball just as Shi Su backed off a little, having missed a chance earlier because Shi Su had hit the ball too fast. Not sure if it was intentional or accidental, her hip bumped into Shi Su who was behind her.
Luckily, Shi Su dodged quickly, otherwise her abdon might have been hit directly.
As she retreated, she glanced at Zhang Kerong, and then looked towards Ami, who received the look, caught the ball, and hit it back forcefully.
Zhang Kerong was about to catch the ball, but Shi Su was behind her, using her leg to block and not giving her a chance to move back. At the sa ti, Shi Su leapt up, accurately caught another ball, and sent it back to the opposite side.
Zhang Kerong suddenly turned to look at Shi Su.
Shi Su also looked back at her, smiling slightly, "Keep it up."
Zhang Kerong showed no sign of smiling, imdiately looked away, and focused hard on the opposite side, just wanting to find another opportunity to catch the ball.
But at this point, Shi Su was considering the baby in her belly, and did not want anything to really happen over a mont of pride. After all, she had already angered her once, which was enough.
Shi Su raised her hand to indicate she wanted to take a break, and the director blew a whistle to give consent.
Shi Su quickly grabbed a towel to simply wipe her face, then removed her wristband and kneepads while walking towards the basketball court where the male guests were playing.
Seeing staff looking her way, she confidently pointed over there, mouthing the words, "I’m going to watch."
The staff laughed at her, gesturing for her to go quickly.
Shi Su was afraid she’d miss Jing Jihan’s basketball debut. Despite how handso her husband looked now, he was certainly no longer the seventeen or eighteen-year-old big guy from campus, but rather a "middle-aged" man nearing his thirties. This debut in front of her might just be a once-in-a-lifeti occasion. If it weren’t for this opportunity, there probably wouldn’t be a second one.
However, Shi Su never expected that when the second episode of rmaid Immortal Island was broadcast in the future, this so-called "debut" by Jing Jihan would elevate the show’s popularity to heights no outdoor reality show had reached in the past five years.
But that’s a story for later.
On the basketball court, the two teams were battling fiercely. Luo Fang didn’t want to be on the sa team as Lin Xu, but when boys play, the excitent kicks in.
With Wei Sinan also playing well, Luo Fang beca bolder, even though Jing Jihan seed unfazed, rely circling the edge without trying to catch the ball. On the rare occasions when he did get the ball, Luo Fang would deliberately go over to block him, laughing, pulling his wristband, and taunting while blocking, "Co on, Mr. Jing, let’s play! We agreed, only ball gas allowed, no face-offs after!"
