Ami passed by, turned her head to glance, and curiously poked her head into the woods to ask, "Big cousin-in-law, what did you find?"
Shi Su tilted the opened box to show her.
Inside were two cooking pots and frying pans sponsored by a certain kitchenware brand, along with a dozen or so sets of bowls, chopsticks, and igniters.
Just as Shi Su found the cooking tools, Wei Sinan called Ami over to the other side. A few minutes later, Ami excitedly ca over with a not-too-large box; inside was a simple rainproof plastic tent.
"Didn’t we just pass by a cave? It was pitch black inside, so we didn’t see it clearly, but Mr. Wei said he took a quick look outside. This plastic tent can be set up directly at the cave entrance to keep the rain from entering. We can also place the kitchen utensils outside the cave, so we don’t have to put them inside." Ami said happily.
Shi Su cheerfully raised her hand to make an OK gesture, hugging the found items like treasures. Jing Jihan saw how important she considered the dining tools and chuckled, reaching out to take them: "I’ll carry them. There’s lightning far off, likely it’ll rain again soon. Let’s bring the stuff inside to avoid any issues and see if we find more supplies on the way back to the cave."
"Okay." Shi Su said while signaling Ami with a glance to call her and Wei Sinan along.
Ami was just about to co over when it seed Wei Sinan found sothing under the rocks again, so Ami hurriedly ran back.
Shi Su was curious and about to turn around and join them, but as soon as she saw Ami unintentional shoulder-to-shoulder with Wei Sinan, she paused, acting as if she hadn’t seen anything, urging Jing Jihan to accompany her back to the cave while deliberately trying to block his view.
But Jing Jihan’s perceptive gaze only paused on her face for a mont, and she instantly understood.
He wasn’t blind or slow; he could see what she could see.
Shi Su laughed at him, quickly took his arm to walk towards the cave, saying as they walked, "Let it be, let it be. I think Wei Sinan has gotten used to Ami these past days; they work together pretty well. Just treat them as colleagues; don’t mind too much."
Jing Jihan glanced at her, "I think you’re the one minding."
"Anyway, in Ami’s eyes and heart, you’re her cousin. No matter what, these days she’ll surely be under your watch. She told she’s under a lot of pressure and scared of you too. You have to give young people so space, spare her a few glances so she can breathe a little easier." Shi Su smiled squintingly.
Jing Jihan didn’t argue, just carried the boxes as they returned to the cave. They happened to be the first guest group to enter the cave, and earlier, they had seen boxes covered in black waterproof cloth hidden on the road, directly signaling ng Li nearby to fetch them.
Although the cave had been inspected by the show crew and was very safe, it was guaranteed to be dark inside now for effect.
Jing Jihan put down the boxes, pulled Shi Su over to prevent her from accidentally falling inside, and took out a flashlight from her small backpack to illuminate the surroundings.
Luo Fang and Xv Qingqing followed in, glanced around under the flashlight’s light, and turned to ask the show crew outside the cave, "There’s not even a light. How are you going to film?"
