After Shi Mianmian called the doctor grandpa, he bandaged and dicated the wound again.

The old doctor had poor eyesight, but he had high dical ethics. He didn’t need to look at people; he could accurately give injections just by feeling the patient’s hand. Every ti in the past few days, when the old doctor was called to help with injections, the nurses at his clinic would prepare the dication in the IV bag in advance, saving a lot of trouble.

As the evening darkened, Shi Su took Shi Mianmian to the bathroom for a bath, then took her back to the next room and coaxed her to sleep before walking out, still rubbing her slightly sore shoulder.

The man occupying her bed was still in a deep sleep. She glanced at him and turned back into the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later, Shi Su ca out wearing comfortable white pajamas, wiping her damp long hair as she walked outside.

The woman, slling of shower gel, sat on an indoor sofa not far away. After she sat down, the man on the bed opened his eyes.

"For a stranger with no relation, I’m about to sleep on the sofa for the fourth night. I must have a screw loose." She put the towel aside and casually patted her face with moisturizing cream.

But she didn’t believe anyone who claid to have amnesia. She had to find a chance to probe him seriously.

The severely injured man lay on the bed, his upright figure hidden under a thin quilt, but his handso visage was still outstanding.

Upon hearing this, Jing Jihan said nothing, only turned his eyes in Shi Su’s direction and glanced once.

Two days later, the man on the bed finally "woke up again."

"Awake?" Shi Su raised an eyebrow at him.

Before Jing Jihan could speak, she directly threw a thick dictionary over.

The dictionary landed right on his chest wound, causing him to grunt in pain. He glanced at her again, his voice low and hoarse with a touch of suffering: "Do you think I’m not dead enough? Rather than being hit like this, it’s better to be stabbed to death for convenience."

Shi Su squinted at the man’s face, looking irresistible: "Didn’t you lose your mory? You’re lying on my bed for so many days, I can’t keep calling you hey, hey. Create a na for yourself then. Amnesia aside, you should still recognize words, right?"

Jing Jihan propped himself up with one hand, managed to sit up, though still weak from days without food, leaned against the bed head, and looked at her again: "Can I eat first?"

Shi Su marveled at the man’s composure and shalessness: "You dare ask for food?"

Jing Jihan’s expression was calm and indignant: "How many days do you think a normal person can survive on those few injections of glucose?"

Seeing that he had picked up the thick dictionary, Shi Su finally said: "I happen to be cooking so plain rice porridge in the kitchen. I’ll spoon a bowl for you. This dictionary was borrowed from the neighbor aunt’s son who’s in school. Don’t damage it!"

"Okay."

Shi Su turned and headed to the kitchen.

Jing Jihan glanced at the item in his hand, casually flipped two pages, and heard sounds from the kitchen as the fragrance of rice porridge faintly wafted in the air.

A few minutes later, Shi Su returned with the porridge and placed it on the bedside cabinet, then glanced at him: "Chosen a na yet? It doesn’t have to be ticulous, just sothing I can call."

Jing Jihan t the woman’s gaze: "I’ve chosen."

Shi Su hesitated and picked up the dictionary beside the bed, seeing that this man sohow took the paper and pen she had placed on the bedside cabinet. Upon opening the dictionary, she saw the piece of paper inside with two strong and beautiful characters written on it.
