Shi Yunyin thought her words would sting, but after she finished speaking, she saw that Shi Su remained calm, unaffected by her words and without any signs of agitation for being confined at ho.

Suddenly, she opened her phone, found a photograph, and handed it to Shi Su.

Shi Su glanced at her and took it.

The screen displayed a photograph from an unknown source.

In the photograph was a half-profile of Jing Jihan, showing him slightly turning his head, indulging the girl beside him talking closely. Despite not showing his full face, given his aversion to taking photos, the image indeed showed significant indulgence. Even with his indifferent deanor, the man’s impeccable facial features were still apparent—a clear and handso man; the girl beside him showed half her face, smiling with eyes curved, radiating happiness, intimately standing next to Jing Jihan with arms side by side, very close.

The photograph also included two more figures, at a large European-style dining table. Although not clearly focused, the pair appeared to be middle-aged. From the table setting to the English words in the background, it seed to be Jing Jihan’s parents’ ho in the United Kingdom, and the less clear facial outlines of the middle-aged duo indeed resemble Jing Jihan, suggesting they were truly his parents in the United Kingdom.

Jing Jihan and the young girl, who seed to be in her early twenties, showed a harmonious atmosphere, as if a perfect couple complenting each other.

Especially, they were so intimate.

"Curious about the source of this photograph? It’s not sothing ordinary people can find." Shi Yunyin raised her brows seeing Shi Su silent, staring at the image: "This photograph is from when Jing Jihan went to the United Kingdom a few months ago; you two should be quite close or already together by then, right? But look at that girl; don’t you think they are quite intimate, sweet, well-matched? Moreover, they have t the parents."

Shi Su said nothing, her gaze unwavering from the photo on the screen.

"Moreover, as far as I know, Jing Jihan only has a younger brother. I have never heard he has a sister. So, excluding familial relations, who do you say this girl is? An unannounced fiancée? A girlfriend kept out of sight? A future daughter-in-law approved by parents? A cherished secret? Or sothing else?" Shi Yunyin forcefully hamred each word at Shi Su: "Anyway, no matter who she is, she’s not you."

"So, Shi Su, don’t think you can be fearless just because you cling onto Mr. Jing’s thigh. You can be replaced at any ti; any woman can substitute your existence; you are nothing."

Silence reigned for two minutes. Shi Su raised her eyes while handing the phone back: "Shi Yunyin, I’ve lived for twenty-four years, not depending on anybody for survival. Five years ago, I didn’t rely on anyone for backing to stay alive."

Noting no change in Shi Su’s expression, Shi Yunyin scrutinized her gaze again as she took back the phone.

Her gaze also showed no sign of emotional breakdown.

"What now? You finally clung onto a golden thigh, yet you are just pretending? Jing Jihan couldn’t even make you fall for him? Or are you still thinking of Yi City?"

"So what if I am?" Shi Su’s face not only remained intact but also bore a hint of a smile: "After all, your engagent is dissolved. Why question whether I think about it or not? You have no grounds."

Shi Yunyin’s face instantly turned cold: "You really think highly of yourself."

"I don’t need to define myself; seeing how guarded you are against , it’s clear how insecure you are about Yi City." Shi Su smiled more aningfully: "As far as I know, since your engagent with Yi City in recent years, he hasn’t lacked rumored girlfriends around him. Although rely gossip, just so photos, those won close to him share a common trait."

Shi Yunyin’s hand instantly clenched tightly, restraining her urge to tear off Shi Su’s smile.

"They all resemble , don’t they?"

"..."

"Shi Yunyin." Shi Su moved towards her.

Shi Yunyin instinctively retreated a step.

Shi Su continued forward, as Shi Yunyin stepped back each ti, articulating each word clearly: "Whether or not I want to look back at Yi City again, you have never contended against for Yi City. After winning the grand slam for the movie ’Chi Xiao,’ you have feared my existence even more. Even till today, you set traps everywhere. Do you truly think I don’t know about your private interactions with Xia Yilin and Tong Yuanyuan? Yet the traps you set up for seem ineffective, making you increasingly guarded, fearing I might trample you underfoot soday."

Watching Shi Yunyin’s face grow increasingly pale and angry, Shi Su chuckled lightly, her gaze openly scornful: "You think you have everything, and crushing is even easier than pinching an ant. But think carefully, how exactly do you think you can overpower ? Even now, the Shi Family finds it complex to confine or eliminate . I’m no longer that unnoticed young girl in your Shi Family; if sothing happens to or if I disappear, you won’t be able to cover it."

Suddenly, Shi Yunyin ceased retreating and retorted: "No wonder soone like you insists on entering the entertainnt industry; it’s to find a refuge?"

"Not just that." Shi Su did not dispute but instead laughed lightly: "Your mother Xv Yaru understands better than I do. Did she not tell you?"

Shi Yunyin’s expression froze.

Indeed, Xv Yaru didn’t tell her.

Rightly so.

Seeing that whether Shi Yunyin is truly Shi Lingkang’s biological daughter, Xv Yaru wouldn’t dare reveal it. If exposed soday, such inner secrets of the Shi Family’s noble gates would be ample fodder for gossip for years.

Even if Xv Yaru privately possessed great wealth and power, she still cared about reputation.

The servant outside knocked on the door: "Miss, Second Miss, Mr. Shi and Madam are asking you to hurry; the food is getting cold."

Shi Yunyin did not gain any advantage, her unpleasant expression evident, utterly disinclined to deal with Shi Su, nor willing to let Shi Su touch her belongings.

Coincidentally, Shi Su also refrained from touching.

She casually took two disinfectant wipes from the table, didn’t change her clothes, and directly turned to leave.

As she exited, turning her back on Shi Yunyin behind her, Shi Su’s perpetually calm smile slightly faded.

"Look at that girl; don’t you think they are quite intimate, sweet, well-matched? Moreover, they have t the parents."

"Who do you say this girl is? An unannounced fiancée? A girlfriend kept out of sight? A future daughter-in-law approved by parents? A cherished secret? Or sothing else?"

"Anyway, no matter who she is, she’s not you."

...

"Shi Su, would you want to enter my world?"

"Want to try with ? Hmm?"

Those raspy, deep sentints echoed around her ear.

Shi Su silently wiped her hands and face with the disinfectant wipes, heading downstairs in silence—
