At that ti, her mind was not clear at all; everything was driven by instinct.

Later, because of the pain, she bit down hard on the man’s shoulder.

What happened afterwards, how it ended, how she put on her clothes, how she ran bewildered and panicked out of the car...

It was chaotic.

...

Countless images gradually pierced into her mind from the chaos.

The air conditioning in the car was set to so unknown temperature, but she was no longer cold, even though there was a slight chill on her legs where the man was unfastening her skirt.

Intertwined breaths in the darkness, and the sounds of their heartbeats pulsing near her ears.

They were adults, in the confines of the car, within this small world, their uncontrollable heartbeats proclaid that everything would not co to a halt.

His scorching hot hand rested on her waist, no longer separated by clothing.

Shi Su locked eyes with him in the dark.

She lowered her head to et his lips and teeth, tightly wrapping her arms around his neck, using a softness and unique courage she hadn’t felt in her twenty-four years, embracing him, clinging to him, an unprecedented intimacy.

Yet in a split second, Shi Su abruptly recalled the life-threatening pain from five years ago.

She suddenly paused on him.

"Um..."

She murmured softly with a hint of embarrassnt and sudden retreat between their touching lips, "Could we..."

"What?" His voice was hoarse, so unlike his usual calm and restrained self.

Shi Su abruptly pushed against his chest, retreating a bit, her face flushed with heat as she awkwardly asked, "Could we not be in the car?"

"?"

She knew calling a halt at such a mont was rather strange, but the influence from five years ago filled her mind, even though it was vague, that painful shadow still hovered over her.

It wasn’t that she couldn’t do it.

At least, change the location.

"Wait a mont, let’s change places..."

"At a ti like this, you’re asking to wait?" His voice was raspy, cutting through his teeth.

If he could wait, why would she suddenly be so forward in the car?

In his current state, he definitely didn’t look like he could wait.

Shi Su paused, then said no more, instead hooking her arms around his neck again: "Then here is fine, it’s okay."

Saying it’s okay, Jing Jihan obviously sensed her subtle tension, no longer as proactive and composed as she was earlier.

He suppressed so painful desires, with a low sigh, a husky, sensual kiss landed on her earlobe to soothe her: "Shall we go to my place?"

Shi Su felt relieved, glanced at him for a mont: "Can you hold on?"

"Rember to repay a hundred tis for however long I hold on now."

"..."

Repay a hundred tis for this?

Shi Su felt embarrassed as his kiss landed on her nose, visibly finding it difficult to control himself, yet he abruptly lifted her clothes at her waist while placing his coat over her.

Then Shi Su sat dazed beside him, her hand tightly gripped by his.

Zhou He was summoned back by Jing Jihan’s call, and upon returning, he dared not look back, wordlessly pretending to be invisible, speeding away to a hotel in the east of Z City.

The car was considerately parked in the hotel’s underground garage, sparing them from being surrounded by crowds in the hotel lobby. After all, even wrapped in the man’s coat, Shi Su looked disheveled, and Jing Jihan didn’t appear quite orderly after the disturbance, a scene that anyone seeing it would surely read into.

Though not afraid of assumptions, Jing Jihan would never let Shi Su be exposed in front of others like this.

Zhou He dared not look backward, only parked the car beside the elevator in the garage, opened the car door, and saw with the corner of his eye Shi Su cloaked in Mr. Jing’s coat, led into the elevator by him.

Inside the elevator, Shi Su’s mind still echoed with Jing Jihan’s words about repaynt a hundred tis.

This repaynt wasn’t the kind involving money.

Before, it ant a considerable amount of money to her, but now her legs felt weak...

She wanted to plead, saying although it wasn’t her first ti, she barely rembered the first ti, only the pain. After giving birth to Mianmian, she hadn’t had a boyfriend, hoping he’d restrain himself sowhat, especially since she had filming next day and needed so strength...

Yet, words caught in her throat, she held them back, fearing she’d seem too dramatic.

After all, she was the one who initiated things today, now any words seed pointless.

Silently, she sneaked a glance at his face in the elevator, her heart pounding fiercely; she knew perfectly well that this man wouldn’t let her off tonight.

Images of Jing Jihan without clothes flashed through her mind abruptly; she’d seen him like that at her ho when he was injured, his features distinct, his physique perfect, not a bit too much or too little, everything appealingly just right.

Not only had she seen him, she’d... well... touched him.

This man was exceptionally noble yet exceedingly handso, every inch emitting allure, each glance carrying profound grace, his every move was delightful.

After all these years and experiences, with a father who was a jerk, a shaless Mr. Chu, Yi City’s betrayal, and the agony of that chaotic night five years ago, the near-death experience when giving birth to Mianmian...

Shi Su thought she should have developed a psychological barrier against n by now.

Yet, it seed since the appearance of Jing Jihan in her sight, she never had that barrier she thought she would.

Instead, even with clear warnings to herself to step back again and again, she still fell deeply, unknowingly into it.

The elevator stopped, neither spoke as his strong arm decisively led her out.

Suddenly, they entered the room, the light still off, and Shi Su felt a whirl of dizziness, the man pressed her against the wall, his action more forceful and intense than hers when she had pinned him against the wall in the hotel.

Intertwining breaths, wrapped and lingering, kisses urgent.

He was undressing.

Suit.

Tie.

The buttons of his shirt collar were unfastened one by one.

Even in the darkness, Shi Su could see his gaze as he unbuttoned his shirt, like fire burning, inch by inch consuming her.

She didn’t know what he saw in her to like, nor understood where her allure lay.

But at this mont, he was irresistibly captivating.

She leaned against the wall, unmoving, until a chill spread across her shoulder; as his kiss landed, he spoke in a husky voice, "You’re blocking the card switch, move a bit, let turn on the light."

Shi Su admitted she felt sothing awkward pressing against her back.

She didn’t move, still stood there, even deliberately blocking the card switch from his touch, tightly grasping his muscular arm, whispered softly, "...Don’t turn on the light."

The man buried his face in her neck, with a husky, sensual laugh, "Afraid?"
