In the evening, Shi Su carried Mianmian’s little backpack and followed behind her, ready to enter the house.

Shi Mianmian rushed ahead as soon as she entered the house.

Jing Jihan rarely ca out for a walk, just sat down on the sofa, and turned on the TV to watch the news for less than five minutes before Shi Mianmian bounced in and directly lunged at him.

The little darling unexpectedly hugged his neck, and then started rubbing her soft little cheek against his face. The soft, tender cheeks combined with a sweet, milky fragrance made Jing Jihan pause for a mont. After coming to his senses, he noticed his hand had already gently patted the little one’s back, returning her embrace promptly.

He had never been around children, and naturally disliked them, yet regardless of how clingy Shi Mianmian was, he surprisingly didn’t find her annoying.

Shi Su entered and saw Shi Mianmian’s gesture of jumping into his arms and said, "Shi Mianmian, Uncle Ji Han still has injuries; he can’t withstand you jumping into him like this."

Only then did Mianmian realize she might have done sothing wrong, her big eyes widened in surprise, raising her head from Jing Jihan’s embrace: "Does it hurt, Uncle?"

Jing Jihan patted her head: "It doesn’t hurt."

But Shi Mianmian quickly retreated from his arms, obediently standing in front of him, not daring to climb onto him or recklessly jump into his embrace again.

Suddenly, as if she rembered sothing, the little one turned around with a bright smile and ran to Shi Su, taking out a nicely wrapped candy from her cute pink backpack, unwrapped it, and ran back: "Uncle, this candy is really sweet, have so!"

As she spoke, to let him sll the sweetness from the candy, Shi Mianmian tiptoed and held the candy up to his mouth.

There was no other choice; Uncle was too tall. Even sitting on the sofa, she found it hard to reach his mouth...

Shi Su: "..."

The saying "when the girl grows up, she can’t be kept ho" certainly manifests in a four-year-old child.

Considering Shi Mianmian’s greedy little nature, chocolate and sweets were her favorites. Aside from her mom and Mrs Qin, she wouldn’t easily give them to others, and only one skewer was bought.

The only skewer, indeed.

Shi Su sighed silently in her heart from the perspective of a mother.

So this is the real Shi Mianmian!

Jing Jihan smiled gently and pressed down Mianmian’s small hand: "Thank you, Uncle doesn’t eat sweets."

"Why not? Uncle, just have one!" Mianmian insisted, tiptoeing again, opening her mouth widely and exclaid "Ah——": "Uncle, open your mouth and have one, it’s my favorite, you should try it!"

Many n didn’t like sweets, presumably he was no exception.

Shi Su walked over, intending to intervene tily: "Mianmian, Uncle is still recovering, he shouldn’t eat anything too sweet, don’t be naughty..."

Mianmian kept the posture of wanting to feed him unchanged, though her little feet were no longer tiptoeing, looking innocently at him: "This candy has dates in the hawthorn, Mommy says dates can replenish blood. When we bought the candy today, I specifically asked Mommy to get the dates inside..."

As she spoke, she seed disappointed, about to lower her hand.

Jing Jihan looked at the little girl’s disappointed face, reached out and took hold of the small hand still carefully holding the candy, biting off the top piece from her hand. The sweet and sour taste of hawthorn mixed with the jujube flavor inside was indescribably sweet or peculiar.

He calmly ate it and said, "Thank you, it’s delicious."
