Shi Su had her feet free at first, but now her wrists were bound, and her hands and feet were forcibly restrained between him and the wall.

"Get a hold of yourself..."

"...Let go...of !"

No matter how much Shi Su struggled, she was still completely pinned against the wall beside the elevator door by the tall and domineering man.

When Shi Su attempted to fiercely bite him, Jing Jihan did not release her despite the pain but instead pressed her even more forcefully into his embrace.

Shi Su was having difficulty breathing, her two hands that she barely managed to free were firmly planted against his chest.

Suddenly, he released the hand that was around her waist, pulling her troubleso hands down, and pinned them heavily against the wall beside her body.

Shi Su seemingly lost all her defenses, and when she felt the faint pain from his retaliatory biting and grinding on her lips, she bit him once more, even harder.

Finally, Jing Jihan stopped his actions.

Although he didn’t release her, his gaze was deep and focused on her flushed cheeks, unsure if it was from the struggle or sothing else.

At the sa ti, his dark eyes fixed on her lips, now red as if touched by rouge.

Shi Su, exhausted from his forced kiss, leaned against the wall, gasping heavily, glaring at him.

For a mont, no one spoke. Because neither of them moved for a while, the automatic sensor light in the corridor between the door and the elevator suddenly turned off.

In the darkness, only a faint light shone from the partially open door. The light was indeed dim because Shi Su hadn’t turned on the living room lights, leaving only the bedroom’s wall lamp and the kitchen’s light.

She had no idea how seductive her deep, heavy breathing combined with her angry stare and wide-set eyes looked to him.

The misty blue nightgown and her snow-white skin shimred with a subtle sheen in the dark. Her whole being seed like a lingering enchantress that wrapped around his heart, each breath a hook pulling at his soul.

Jing Jihan admitted that he was ensnared.

When did it start?

Perhaps it was one morning when the little woman insistently asked Shi Mianmian who made the better steak, holding a spatula in her hand.

Or perhaps it was in Jing Luozhou’s cara lens, where she could be as fiery and spirited as the wind in a red outfit, or unabashedly devouring a box al beside a car.

Maybe it was that night in her old apartnt when the little woman’s towel fell, and she was completely naked, pouncing on him.

Or maybe it was even earlier.

Shi Su felt a certain danger approaching in the darkness, knowing full well that the man before her was the danger itself, already too close to be any closer.

"Didn’t you boast about being able to hold your liquor?" She tried to break the silence, and also the looming sense of danger.

As she spoke, the automatic sensor light suddenly ca back on, and it was so bright that she couldn’t help but squint.

At the sa ti, she saw the man’s dark eyes still staring at her; she was still pinned by him, unable to move.

Facing his gaze, Shi Su wanted to escape, but there was nowhere to go. She could only watch as Jing Jihan’s slender fingers lifted and grazed against her lips in the opposite direction.

The instant he grazed them, Shi Su’s eyes trembled, sensing sothing was off, and saw the man suddenly smile lightly.

She quickly tried to shove him away, but the man effortlessly held her flailing body and limbs in place.

He bowed his head.

Firmly.

And kissed her again.

This ti, it was more forceful and overbearing than before; no matter how Shi Su punched and kicked and struggled fiercely in Jing Jihan’s arms, it was useless.

Shi Su usually didn’t eat too much or too little, always maintaining her figure well. Even though she didn’t work out deliberately often, she wasn’t weak.

But no matter how fiercely she struggled, the man’s tall body remained unmoved like an unyielding mountain, firmly suppressing her; her struggles seed only to tickle him.

Shi Su grew anxious, recalling the spot where he had been seriously injured before, and slapped it down heavily, but found he didn’t react at all.

Was he completely healed?

If he was so capable, why didn’t he stand up and return to the Jing Family back when he was on the edge of the cliff?

Unable to push him away, Shi Su exhausted even the last bit of energy she had gathered, limply leaning against the wall without struggling anymore, letting the man silently inch closer, embracing her inch by inch in the returning darkness, each ti heavier.

Suddenly, from the slightly open door ca Shi Mianmian’s sleepy voice, "Mommy...?"

Mianmian was awake!

Shi Su heard Mianmian’s voice and instinctively tried to flutter free in the man’s arms, but before she could move, the man, who had been pressing her against the wall, suddenly stopped all movents. She could only hear his sowhat heavy breathing in the dark and then, in the returning light, watch as the man fell forward onto her shoulder, almost his entire weight—nearly six and a half feet—pressing on her.

"...?"

"......?!!!"

If he doesn’t swallow alive, must he crush to death?!

Shi Su instinctively used all her strength to support Jing Jihan’s leaning body, turning to scold him, only to sll the alcohol in his breath. He reeked not only of alcohol but also of cigarettes; it wasn’t hard to imagine the kind of place he had been prior to coming here.

"So busy yet after socializing don’t you return to your own ho to rest, instead coming here to act drunk?" Shi Su muttered, while afraid that Shi Mianmian might see sothing she shouldn’t, she hastily supported the man into the apartnt, fiercely whispering as she did so to the man with closed eyes who seed unable to walk, "Walk properly! If you fall, I won’t care!"

Perhaps it was her sharp tone, or maybe it was the proximity to his ear when she spoke, but the man’s sowhat unsteady steps seed to stabilize a bit, making it easier for her to support him through the door without being particularly laborious.

Mianmian had woken up wanting to go to the bathroom, found Mommy not around, stood dazedly in the dark living room hugging her big white bear, not yet fully awake; when suddenly the living room light ca on, she saw Mommy gritting her teeth, supporting Uncle Ji Han into the room.

Mianmian was instantly wide awake, her eyes wide with disbelief staring at Shi Su, then turned to look at the man with closed eyes being supported in by Mommy, "Wow?!"

"Wow what? Go back to sleep!" Shi Su gave her a warning glare, "Back to your room!"

Mianmian blinked her eyes, curiously pointing to the man beside Mommy, "What happened to Uncle Ji Han?"

Shi Su couldn’t bother to explain about the man’s social drinking, only glancing at Mianmian once more, urging her to head back to her room quickly.

Outside, the autumn night was cold, but inside the room, it was warm.

She helped the man to sit down on the couch, simultaneously taking off his trench coat, stretching it out on her arm, and hanging it neatly on the side.
