"We can't but I am sure no one knows about this place, moreover this tunnel is a narrow tunnel which has a huge opening from one side but a tiny exit, thus a passage is created inside it and sotis voices get reverberated inside it even when soone from afar is talking. The sound waves travel faster inside the tunnel. In my earlier days when I was handed over the task of this tunnel, I too felt like this. I even thought I was mad and was hallucinating but it wasn't the case. The ex-general, Severus told us that this tunnel was specifically made this way to distract enemies. Since this is the most crucial tunnels as it directly connects the Resel to the main palace, thus we need to be careful. No one knows when the enemy will sniff this place thus he already made the necessary arrangents. Sigh! What a pity that he died. He was a capable knight"

The guard lanted.

"Yea! I never t him personally but I have heard that he was a legendary knight whose charms were unasurable"

The old guard looked at the young guard in contempt.

"You only care about his appearances and not his achievents and capabilities."

The young guard wanted to bite his own tongue. How could he even say these things so brazenly?

"No No, Senior you are taking it all wrong. I didn't an....."

The voice faded.

The guards went far and far so as their voices...

"Severus, they were talking about you. Didn't they?"

In the darkness, Desella was snuggled close to Severus. It was a slippery tunnel which had an underground stream. Severus was a keen observer and as soon as he heard the voices of tal colliding he understood that they were patrol guards thus he quickly lifted Desella up in the air and turned her around swiftly where it was complete darkness. However, he was ticulous enough to hold Desella over his body in a position such that Desella was standing on his feet. Severus one hand snaked around her waist whereas another arm was over Desella's mouth. He was afraid of her shouting due to his extre reflexes. After the guards left, Severus still maintained the sa position and didn't allow her to back away.

Severus had no expressions on his face, however, his eyes were focused.
