Garden of Seven seasons.
The Garden of Seven seasons was the garden that he had built. Every flower that was present here was brought by him. He was never a fan of gardens or flowers, but since the girl whom he loved, liked exotic flowers so he made several trips and traveled to many wildernesses and deathly places for these flowers so he could gift her.
Alas! So things are just not yours. Even if it seems, it will never be yours.

[Idiot, I bet this garden is yours, but that cheater crown prince claid it as his] Noworry said in disdain.
Severus was shocked. He didn't activate the communication, so how was he spotted?
[Lad don't give that look. I know what a loser you are, so it is not strange that you were a sore loser in your previous life] Noworry mocked him.

They just arrived at the gate of the garden and saw a huge crowd on the other side.
Barricades were placed around the three gates of the garden.
All three gates were swamped by commoners who weren't allowed to enter inside the garden.
Garden of seven seasons was a large spread of land. Several beautiful blowers were blooming on all corners of the garden. A mini chain of fountains with several benches were beautifully placed. Huge trees were gardened there to provide shade in extre heat. All in all, it looked like a garden of Eve.
Noworry passed a smug look to Severus and then flew away.
He flew high in the air. His black feathers were shining in the daylight. He was really a beautiful bird.
Severus was srized by his beauty but soon ca out of his stupor.
"DAMN, that old bird.
Severus hissed loudly.

"Yes, Lord"
"Make sure the king gets a good spot and princess lanie gets a blind spot. Just make sure that I and the public can't see her face", a voice laced with anger resounded.
"Yes, Lord"
"Mmmm you decorated the coffin and burial place nicely?"
"Yes, Lord"
"You can leave"
"Sure Lord"
From afar a handso man in red clothes was seen giving orders to his subordinates.
His face was a bit pale, but it didn't reduce his charm. You could practically feel the calmness and soothing aura radiating from him, but behind this faade was a sadistic and cruel guy, who was cold from inside the bones.
That man was none other than the Crown prince of Rivera Kingdom, Maverick.
lanie looked up, there she saw a beautiful blue colored sky and a black colored bird soaring high in the sky. She was dazed upon seeing the bird. Her shiny black feathers were the most beautiful feathers she had ever seen, but soon the bird soared up higher and more disappeared.
"Looking at the sky", a warm voice traveled in her ears.
"Yeah, it's beautiful. I saw a bird too. She was very beautiful, soaring up high in the sky", lanie explained everything with a feeling of deep sorrow.
"Ah...I see, so you want to be like that bird. You want to fly high, leaving here, waiting for you all my life. HuhIs it that you want princesses?" Maverick asked softly.
Princess lanie shook her head hard, denying his statent, but the guilt in her eyes betrayed her actions.
"If you don't wish to marry , princess, then I can't force you. You are free. "Just a word from your side and I will cancel this engagent", Maverick asked apathetically.
lanie choked, she desperately clung to his elbow and sobbed softly.
Maverick's heart lted seeing her tears. He carefully wiped her tears and gave a light kiss on her lips. lanie hugged him tightly and sobbed a bit harder. Maverick too hugged her tightly, consoling her lightly.
This scene was seen by thousands of spectators, including Severus.
He was always aware that Maverick had liked lanie since they were young so he had always maintained a good distance from her, but despite his efforts, you could never control falling for soone, and just like that, just like Maverick he too fell, you could say he fell hard for lanie.
Since childhood, he was torn between his love and his promise.
lanie was his love, whereas Maverick was his responsibility. He was very well aware that lanie was his sis-in-law, so he never tried to sweet talk to her.

His little heart experienced the joy of care for the first ti and just like that every single passing day, he fell hard for her. Never revealing his emotions, guarding from far.
Severus knew that this was the truth but the little hope that was still in his heart extinguished completely today.
He was a loner.
He was never destined to be loved.
His father left him.
His mother died while giving him birth.
His best friend never truly loved him.
The king never loved him.
The only person whom he gave his heart also never loved him back.
This realization made him cold. No, his heart beca cold.
All the promises and the earlier confession were nothing but a joke.
"Haha...Ha, O my dear Severus, you weren't destined to be loved", he mocked himself.
