"Eh! you an that old lady. Oh no, I an Jane. Jane the evil spirit"
The ghost girl nodded his head.
Severus was puzzled. He killed Jane because she wanted to kill him, but why was this girl thanking him? What was the reason? What was their connection? Several questions ca into his mind.
"If you don't mind can you tell what relation do you have with jane? Why are you happy about her death?"
Tears ford in the eyes of the Ghost girl and sorrow clouded her eyes. With much difficulty, she answered his question. "Jane Cheya was my best friend that betrayed . She and I loved the sa man, but that man loved . Gye was the one whom we loved. Actually, we three were childhood buddies. Since childhood, Jane had a crush on Gye. It was well known in our friend circle that Jane loved Gye. The problem was that Gye never reciprocated Jane's feelings because he was in love with another girl.
"Although Jane tried her best to impress Gye, it was of no use. You just can't enforce feelings on soone.", Severus interrupted.
The ghost just smiled and continued.
"Yeah, they can't be forced so Jane gave up. We completed our studies and on the last day of school Guy proposed to the girl that he had crushed on since childhood. That day was a nightmare for Jane. Jane thought that she would be able to let go of Guy and wouldn't feel jealous but when the ti actually ca, she found out that she can't let go of her feelings. Jealousy made her mad."
"Who was the girl whom He proposed?", Severus asked in confusion. It was such a high school drama. One fell for another and other for another. He got a headache from listening to all this but since he was nearly killed by Jane, he beca interested in her story.
"The girl whom Gye proposed was Jane's best friend"
Severus gasped.
"You cheated on your best friend?", surprise-filled him.
"No, how was it cheating? I never confessed my feeling, and it was he who confessed. I also didn't agree in the first place, so how did I cheat?", the ghost asked angrily. Her surroundings started shaking. The wind started swirling in every direction and a small hurricane built up.
[Are you an idiot? Why are you making her angry? Although she is a tragic ghost, still her powers are stronger than yours. She can easily kill you.] Noworry chided Severus.
Severus didn't know what was wrong with all the ghosts. Why were they so sensitive? With no choice in hand, Severus apologized. "Sorry, miss ghostie. You didn't cheat. It was I who was wrong. I apologize",
Everything stooped and the little hurricane vanished. Winds started blowing mildly and the ghost smiled in satisfaction.
"Good, I am happy that at least soone understands "
"As soon as Gye proposed to , I was delighted but after thinking about Jane, I declined his proposal. To be honest I was sad. I felt very sad for Jane, but I was helpless too. I couldn't help her in this case. No one ever knew but I too loved Gye since childhood, but I always concealed my feelings because of Jane. Jane beca hysterical on that day and she threatened and cursed . I felt sad, but when I gave a thought about my situation, I was more devastated. I was the most pathetic in the three of us? At the least Gye knew that Jane loved him but what about . He didn't know about my feelings. Where was our so-called friendship? I backed out for Jane and concealed my feelings too but what did I get in return? A murder."
The ghost girl sobbed.
"On that day she ca to and begged to not accept Gye's proposal. I tried persuading her that if I don't accept it, he will find another girl and may propose to her. She can't beg every other girl not to accept his proposal. But she sobbed and said that she will ask every other girl. I was too shocked and angry. Love can't be forced. She acted like a maniac that day. However, I never knew that she was a maniac in real life too. After seeing her face, I was angry and in anger, I revealed my true feelings to her and told Jane about my feelings. She was shocked. Her expressions were of betrayal. She didn't speak a word for so ti. Silence prevailed between us. It was stifling and suffocating. I felt a huge burden on my chest. Just when I was about to faint from the nervousness, Jane ca forward and placed her hands on my neck. With her fingers, she pressed my veins on my neck and choked to death. "
"Yes, the so-called best friend of mine murdered "
Severus was shocked. He never imagined that old lady to be so cruel. Her earlier image of being a calm and composed lady was totally shattered. Severus was speechless and exclaid in surprise. "She murdered you!!!!!!!!!"
"Yeah, she did. I begged her not to kill . There were so many things that I wanted to do but she just killed . She killed my dream, my hopes and my chance to full fill them"
"So tragic", Severus comnted.
The ghost laughed cynically.
"This isn't tragic. Let tell you what truly tragic is! After she murdered , she spread a fake rumor that soone killed and that she saw the culprit leaving after killing . A round of investigation was conducted but nothing ca to light. Probably because she hid all the evidence. My family was devastated too after my death. Guy too was sad and devastated. Everyday Jane went to him and gave him sympathy via collecting brownie points. This continued for more than a month. Every other day Jane went to him. Either for paying respect on my grave or going to all the places I loved in my rembrance. I was no fool. She just wanted to date him. Guy wasn't an idiot too. He knew what Jane was trying so he straight away denied her advances. Jane felt bad but she still was persistent and went to his ho the next day when she t him, he was dead. Gye committed suicide. He left a suicide note and the content was"

"There was no need for explanation. It was definitely for . When Jane saw the letter, she beca mad once again. She felt utterly betrayed by both of us, so she perford a spell on . I don't know how the hell she knew necromancy but she bound my soul to this tree so I can't go to the upper realm and she casted a spell on Gye too so that his soul will forget . What a cruel thing she did to us"
