Silence!
A library turned into a morgue.
Tap-Tap.
Severus ca out and saw her dead with a bloody hole in her chest. Sohow Severus felt remorse but there was nothing he could do about her. He still has not figured out the full potential of dark arts. Neither he was able to turn Desella into a human.
If only if, he was capable enough. He could have helped her. Currently, the only thing that he can do is to pray for her reincarnation Slowly he touched her body with his sword as he clasped both of his hands on to the sword. Severus bent on his knees and offered his prayer. Soon the black corpse started fragnting and dissolve into nothingness. Before it completely disappeared, his sword started shining.
FLASH!
Sothing flashed in his subconscious.
Was it a mory?
Yes, it was a mory but it wasn't his. Perhaps it was the mory of this dead corpse.
"Big brother, big brother. You called for ?" A cute little girl with two pigtails on her happily jumped toward a boy who had a stoic expression. He was wearing a small crown on his head. Anyone can tell he was the crown prince because of the crown. He was none other than Minya and the little girl was probably his baby sister.
"Yes Zia" He affectionately called her.
A smile blossod on her face as she giggled. Unaware of her fate, the innocent girl giggled nonstop.
"She is the key. Use her to restrain the guardian spirit and you will beco the almighty lord of this kingdom." A mysterious man spoke.
The little Minya was skeptical about it. "How can I trust you?"
"My, My!"
"Didn't I give you enough reasons to believe . Fine! If you don't believe then I grant you a special pet as well as a curse that will solely be yours." He flicked his finger and a humongous black snake appeared.
Hiss.
He hissed loudly.
The snake shadowed the mysterious n however, strangely the snake was extrely quiet. He was even shivering under that mysterious n's presence. Minya sure had balls of steel to withstand such a presence.
Minya's expression turned from skeptical to awe but there was still so hesitation. To sacrifice his own sister was sothing he did not want to do but the offer was too hard to resist.
Ha!
The mysterious man chuckled.
"Don't want to sacrifice her?"
"Let tell you sothing Kid. Sacrifices are important for the rewarding results that they will yield. Sacrifices make the passing of ti worthwhile with the hope for a better future. Sacrifices build character. Sacrifices strengthen your willpower and determination. Sacrifices give you the power to choose. Sacrifices give you options later in life. On the downside, and I am speaking on my personal experiences, sacrifices can be tiring, it can hurt, it can be a lonely battle. It can make you serious and mature imdiately. It can ask for more than what you can give. It can be very demanding. Sacrifices are never easy. It was not ant to be easy. It can be a ga of chance where you can either win or lose. Not because you paid the price for sothing, it doesn't necessarily an you will have it. So external factors beyond your control play an important part in your wishes and sacrifices. But for lesser regrets and disappointnts, I have learned in life that we must exactly know the things that are worth sacrificing and the things which are not. We must know ourselves and what we truly want. To avoid the pain of giving importance to the mundane and neglecting what's truly important, we must clearly understand what we can and cannot sacrifice. What truly matters to us in the long run and that would give us lesser regrets and disappointnts."
"On the contrary, it's not hard to sacrifice for soone you love, but it's hard to find soone who's worth sacrificing for"
"Tell honestly. Is you your baby sister worth a sacrifice?" He whispered smugly.
Minya expressions turned complicated.
"It's the only act that is greater than our ordinary selves can do that exceeds an equal give and take. If your actions are less, they're not a sacrifice. Sacrifice requires sothing more beyond the norm, from 'so' greater to the ultimate of your very lifeno greater love."
The giver and the receiver may or may not realize the outco from such an act separately or together. And it may seem obvious. In war, where n fight so hard to win and do above all odds or enough to save the lives of their fellow soldiers is always known by the survivors.
Without sacrifice, there is no gain. Our lives go from day-to-day without a hill or mountain or Death Valley in the way. Whether our life is easy or just sa-o, sa-o, a sacrifice raises us to sothing we were always capable of but would never think of because of our avoidance of difficulty."
"I know what a sacrifice ans so stop giving lectures. I just don't wish to sacrifice her. After mother and father, she is the only one I am left with. No matter how much you lure , I can't sacrifice her" Little Minya said resolutely. He was hell-bent on protecting her.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course,"
"Even If I tell you there is a way, I can help your sister to co back to life after her death?" The mysterious man smirked.
Minya swayed. His emotions started fluttering. Greed was now having the best of him.
Oh my!
How luscious was the offer to have both powers as well as love? Who doesn't want that, but can everyone have them? Minya was sure that the coming years would be stressful. There was to say, that since the kingdom had no king it would be subjected to various attacks. He really wasn't sure if he was capable to protect his baby sister as well as the kingdom.
God forbid if anything happened to her, he sure would go berserk.
