Desella was flustered to see Severus outside her door. More like she was shocked to see him looking all so regal. "You dum your head, wake up, and get ready."
Severus pushed her inside as he made his way to the couch, sitting on it casually like his own, "Get ready for?" She said while rubbing her sleepy eyes.

"Today is my wedding. Didn't you hear noises? You can practically sll carnations everywhere "

"You are getting married?" She shrieked.

Desella ca back to her senses soon.
"Ahh well...You see I was tired so."
"You slept like a log" Severus completed the sentence for her.
Desella was bashed.
"Hushh. It's okay. Take your ti. It's not like the ceremony is going to start in the morning but will happen in the afternoon in the spiritual chamber." Severus stood up shrugging non-existent dust from his clothes.
Desella saw him leaving. "You are going sowhere?"
"Yea. I have so important work so I will take leave. If anyone asks about then make any random excuse. Or just say I was not feeling well thus went on a stroll and will co back before the ceremony starts."

Without giving her any chance to question him. Severus left the room whereas Desella stood there like a statue for a long ti.

Noworry saw that Severus was behaving mysteriously thus he stopped pestering him, it was useless to force sothing out his mouth.
Severus was oblivious to the misery of the rest of the girls present inside the main palace. As he was lost in his own bickering with Noworry, several maids nearby nearly fainted when they saw him passing by. They were kind of immune to n's charm since Marquis who was an old man still managed to look no more than thirty and was as handso as he was in his twenties. Eternally being in his pri whereas their crown prince was very adorable looking when he was a kid but as he grew up, his charms exceeded even his, father but it was sad that he was born with a rare disease with no cure thus he was very frail. His skin looked pale, but he was a very calm person. Like a gentle breeze on a hot sunny day, he brought refreshnt to everyone's chaotic heart.

"STOP CHIT-CHATTING YOU GIRLS" Head butler shouted angrily. Like ants, everyone scurried off and started working their ass off for today's celebration.
Ti passed slowly while the sun reached high in the sky. Wedding rituals were going to start soon.
"Miss lanie Head parson asked you to be present inside the spiritual chamber within half an hour. You know we can't delay it more so please cooperate" Her attendant pleaded. Everyone was aware that if anything went wrong then they would be the ones bearing the bla afterward.
lanie panicked when she heard her attendance. She closed her eyes in sadness as she asked, "Did he co?"
"Flera still hasn't co back so I am guessing she is waiting for him at that place you asked her to wait" Maid answered with a trembled heart.
Crash!
A porcelain vase shattered into hundreds of pieces. "DAMN HIM!! Playing hard to get? Are you?"
She raged.
"Co on. Doll up as the most beautiful bride" She said with a clenched jaw.
Her maids which were trembling in fear started doing their work. Everyone attending lanie was surprised as well as confused with lanie's behavior. Today was her wedding with the crown prince but she asked Sir Severus to chat with him today, out of all the occasions she chooses to talk with him just a few hours before her marriage. It sure felt suspicious, but they dared not comnt on it. It was a private matter.
Her maids were very fast. Although lanie was born beautiful but now coupled with makeup, she looked stunning as if a fairy had descended from heaven. Dark red wedding gown complented her lustrous white skin. A veil was used to cover her face while giving her an edgy look. Since she was wearing a fierce color, her maids made sure to smoothen her features but no matter how much they tried, they couldn't hide lanie's real expression. Anger and frustration were written all over her face. When lanie saw that everything was done, her instability stood up and left the room. Her maids were shocked by her aura. As they were frozen because of fear, one of them managed her courage and started chasing after her. Everyone now started chasing after her, but lanie was too fast. They failed to catch up to her, just as they were thought to report lanie to King, lanie stopped walking.
Severus was just returning when he saw a big bridal doll running towards him. He was exported at first but at the closer look, he managed to recognize lanie.
Well...makeup sure does wonders.

She was now standing face to face with Severus. Her heart leaped out. She felt her blood gushing out of her nose. In front of her, Severus was standing in his regal attire. He was now looking like the exact personification that lanie had ever imagined.
"you. I asked for you" lanie stored.
Severus coldly glanced at her. "I don't know what you are talking about."
CRASH!
lanie's fragile heart cracked. Tears welled inside her eyes as her body started shaking in anger. "You...how could you?" She just could believe Severus could have such cold hatred. She instantly grabbed his elbow while she started dragging him with all her might. Severus did not reside and went with her. He wanted to hear what she had to say to him, at this juncture. He wanted to witness just how shallow she can be. or he was just hoping everything to be a bad dream. Well, whatever was the reason, Severus was determined to hear her.
Bang!
As she entered inside her room with Severus, she slamd the door angrily.
The bang startled her maids who were now outside the room. They knew that nothing good would happen inside the room but as a dutiful maid, they knocked on the door.
SCRAM!
She roared.
"But miss...your makeup is still left" One of them managed to say.
Leave.
Well, there was no room for compromise thus they all went away.
Inside the room!
"I failed to understand why you have dragged here Miss lanie. Today is your big day. Instead of dolling up why are you looking so pathetic."

"Really? You are calling pathetic on my wedding day" She said with a voice full of sadness.
Severus heartstrings tugged but he maintained his composure. Co what may, he can't give in.
"Apologies for saying the truth out loud. You look gorgeous, miss"

"Listen Severus. Please Listen to . I know you have your own grievances, but I need you to listen to . Please" lanie begged desperately.
Severus saw that ti has co to blow his disguise thus he freed himself from her grasp while maintaining a descent distance like he used to make in his past life.
"Go on" He said emotionlessly.
lanie had never seen Severus looking so cold but sowhere deep inside she saw sure that she would be able to turn Servers on his side once again.
Her happiness was boundless right now. Excitedly she again grabbed his hands and placed it on her cheeks. "I knew it. I knew it. You ca back. Like a warrior you defeated the death and now you are the strongest knight. Oh, how blessed I am to be loved by soone who is so majestic. I just can't express my happiness Severus".
Very smoothly he again released himself from her grasp and this ti he took a seat on the couch. lanie was becoming very touchy today and this was now passing off Severus.
lanie saw him taking a seat, misunderstanding that he had started giving in and wanting to hear her explanation. She was thrilled.
