"..."

This all!

The more Severus got to know the more he started feeling blessed. Co to think of it, he only died of betrayal and lost a hopeless love, but his mother had a darker past than him but then again, it's all thanks to her and her actions.

Guess I will pass this guilt trap this ti.

Severus didn't feel much this ti since he had already prepared himself. He had made a promise to himself and that he no longer will be tangled with his past. Whatever he was doing was to find the real purpose of his life. With this, the scroll Severus was holding burned into ashes.

"I had high hopes from you Master Vlass, but it turned out I need to do everything myself"

"..."

"Hey kid! Do you think it is easy to investigate things about Marquis? I think you should be the last one that I need to tell about Marquis and how he does things. No one can be compared to that guy's paranoia and that's one of the reasons I can't find flaws in his lies."

Severus internally agreed with Vlass, but he felt it was pretty useless to make this trip here.

"Useless"

"..."

"Okay I see you don't have any leads either about my mother and your sister, and I am hoping you are useless with the map too so now tell the only thing you know. Tell how you identified Desella?" Severus asked with a serious expression.

Vlass who was pouting earlier suddenly beca serious. "It was my master and your grandfather who gave knowledge about dark entities. We all know necromancy is an art that he mostly used by devil guys, but it always isn't the case. Just like any other, it is an art. Pure and creative. It solely depends on the user how he uses it and unfortunately in our case, most of the users betrayed the art but then again not even one of those betrayers had ever led a good life. He taught all these and said that there were entities and so highly stronger wizards who could compel deadly spells converting people or themselves into entities. Roughly they were called as wills. They were one of the strongest dark entities, but we still need to fear them because they are made up of such dark things that give even the strongest one's chills. The girl you brought yourself filled with a dark chill. It was the second ti I experienced such aura and from that, I could imdiately tell that she was not a human but a will however I am impressed by you. You tad a damn will man. I am sure it would been hard on you but what you did is indeed impressive"

Impressive Ha!

Severus snickered.

"You call saving a pitiful soul from infinite prison a impressive thing. Just how cruel you all can be? To be honest I am awfully depressed by the mindset of you all. Think about the feelings of those who are trapped in these dark forces. The trauma, the fear, the anxiety they feel there is sothing that no one could understand. Not , not you, not even hades. The only one who understands is them, the sufferers. You know Desella isn't the one who is blessed to et but, in all honesty, I am the one who is blessed by her. She changed a lot and that for good. She is the reason I can live in the present instead of chaining myself with the mories of the past. I regret it. I truly regret now to be called as human"

Vlass went cold after hearing this.

Every word Severus said pricked his heart. He had co-existed with cold humans for so long that now his own behavior turned cold without even knowing. Vlass felt utterly sad and helpless.

"I understand you brat and I am sorry about it"

"Like hell, I need your sorry. Keep them for yourself"

"I think that's all you got to tell and if that's the case I need to leave"

"Wait kid. There is more that you need to know."

Severus halted.

"The king Marquis only had fleeting doubt about you, but I always knew you were her child. Your facial features truly resemble her. Your black eyes and hairs are one of her striking characteristics but more than that I can feel her inside you. I can feel her shadow in you lad and that's how I beca confident that it was you. Her child. Although I didn't get to chat with her a lot, but I do rember one of our talks. I don't know from where, but a stupid topic of conversation started, and it was what will we na our child. At that ti, I hear Cynthia saying that if she ever bore a child as a boy, she would na him as Severus, and if she bore a girl then it will be Sylvia. So, I nad you after your mother's wishes. So, you can be happy about it. Well, I am sorry but because of my over-excitent at that ti Marquis got to know about your existence. At that ti, he was laced with anger and revenge thus he took you in and after that, you led a horrible life. I always tried to help you out, but my hands were tied at that ti. I was powerless. With ti my powers increased and so my knowledge but before I could free you out from his grasp you fell for that little princess. Well, you can't bla . You seem to really like her so I thought of leaving you on your own and concentrating on becoming more powerful but alas! Fate played with you. "

"That's it?" Severus asked.

"..."

"No... I an there is more to the story. I rember when you were just 14 days old an old man ca to visit Marquis. I don't know what they talked about but after that Marquis did treat you better than before and even allowed you to play with Crown prince and that little sweetheart of yours"

Aww

Severus felt embarrassed when he put it that way.

"Continue with your story"

"Oh. Okay. Well from then onwards you had a decent life I could say except for the loneliness part. Later when I got to know about the recent assassination plan made for you, I was scared witless. I didn't know what to do since I got to know practically at the last mont. You might not know but you were fed the herb Icetra by your damn little sweetheart. Despite being inconsumable by mortals she feeds you. I find it hard that it can't be grown by mortals and only so people in the world possessing the last bit of divine soul can cultivate it and one of those families who possess those fragnts is the Song family. I am doubting that your little sweetheart was in the plan from a long ti ago and you were foolish enough to not see her petty tricks. I actually don't know for what reason they assassinated you since you were an aweso shadow knight for the Crown prince. I an given your old personality I am sure that it wouldn't have been problematic for them to manipulate you until the end, but they still did it. Who knows what those bunch of idiots were thinking while assassinating you"?

"...."

Severus seriously felt like punching that runny mouth of Vlass, but it was true. In his heart, Severus knew that his previous self wouldn't have hard anyone of them.

"Whatever happened, happened. There is no use of crying over a spilled milk and for your information that herb Icetra is far more dangerous than you can even imagine, and I have never consud that herb, at least in my previous life. The herb Icetra is a herb that is used for increasing an individual's power and can only be consud when it is served with the blood of a person who died due to a heart attack. It's actually a cruel practice to increase your strength but in this power-hungry world, people do anything to achieve their goals. Although you can't consu it raw but with adding the blood of the deceased person is sohow consumable but still, the risk is high. Only one percent of the smarter world can consu it with blood. So, it's an extrely cruel way to kill soone. In my last life, I was warned by an old woman to not eat those herbs and that is the reason I got to know about it."

Wait.

Wasn't that woman looked the sa as Glen?

I rember now. It was Glen who told everything about this. Guess I owe her one. Severus recalled.

Vlass on the other hand shouted.

Damn!

"That's really cruel"

Severus nodded silently.

Uh!

"Well can you tell what really Onyx is?"
